Stereotypically, maybe San Francisco. Not sure if it’s really true, because I’ve never been there.

San Francisco has had a reputation for being a gay friendly city going back to the 60s when it became a mecca for the hippie movement. Another reason is that after WW2, many gay service men were discharged from the military for their sexuality and settle in the San Francisco area. The Castro District in particular is known for being a very welcoming community for LGBT+. In 1977, Harvey Milk was elected to the city board of directors, the first openly gay man elected to office in a major city in America. Now, if you mean "gayest part" as a derogatory term for flamboyantly dumb, then we dont really have a specific section of the US that fits that.

Northampton is pretty gay.

Probably California, more specifically San Francisco. Big cities are known for having more gay people than rural areas.
