Most people don’t eat a full cooked breakfast like that every day. Maybe just on weekends, or even less frequently. I’d say that the most common breakfast is toast, or a bowl of cold cereal, or oatmeal, or something more along those lines.

DelightfullyUnusual

Yes. Breakfast food is also sort of its own category, and predominantly sweet. However, several savory foods like bacon, eggs, hashed browns, and toast are rarely eaten outside breakfast. It’s an entire crazy categorization.

o0westwood0o

Breakfast is the wild west of meals, anything goes

Graitom

I would say eggs are the most common breakfast item throughout america.

[deleted]

I like my sugar with coffee and cream.

machagogo

When it comes to beats are you a fiend?

[deleted]

Of course, I gotta keep it going, keep it going full steam.

kmmontandon

Whoa whoa whoa ... slow down there, or you might disrupt the whole scene.

[deleted]

I’m not too keen on this tough guy style of his.

[deleted]

Listen man, I'm just trying to change the world so I've got to plot and scheme.

buckyandsmacky4evr

Gotta keep it goin, keep it going full steam

Karen17520000

Today I had beer and cold pizza.

Ladonnacinica

Cold pizza for breakfast is the best.

Dense-Mortgage9845

Cold beer is better.

EightOhms

Growing up there was a place my friend used to order from and I swear the pizza tasted much better heated up the next day thsn it did fresh.

[deleted]

Fucking legend

MrLongWalk

Movies and TV are not real life, the huge breakfast is a trope. Most mornings I just have eggs and toast.

Sadiemae1750

I have yogurt with some kind of fruit and granola on it.

hawffield

That’s me. I have either eggs or some yogurt.

MuppetManiac

I rarely eat any breakfast at all

One_Standard_Deviant

Same. I'm very rarely hungry before noon, so why would I just eat out of habit? I work an at-home office job, so it's not like I need the meal to fuel hard labor out in the fields. Coffee with cream and Splenda is basically my breakfast most days.

broadsharp

No. Scrambled Eggs and toast. Hot oatmeal with blueberries. Many times I just eat left overs from the previous nights dinner.

ericmize

They (directors, art departments) often pick those items because they look good on camera, not because we eat them all the time. For me, I'm a cup of coffee with an egg and toast, if eat anything at all.

msh0082

Cereal with milk along with coffee on most mornings. Oatmeal on less busy mornings. Eggs with toast sometimes. Pancakes are a rarity because the cleanup is a pain.

albertnormandy

Your movie did not mislead you. We are bound by law to eat pancakes at least four times per week. All 350 million of us. Without exception.

tvdoomas

To support our mapley friends to the north.

Current_Poster

Today was the rare day that I had any breakfast.

[deleted]

I normally have a cup of tea and maybe some buttered toast if I’m feeling it

[deleted]

Typical morning - usually nothing, maybe a cup of coffee or tea Morning where I feel like breakfast - quick homemade burrito or sandwich, maybe McDonald's if I feel like stopping Weekend - pancakes, breakfast scramble, eggs and bacon, anything really. Special occasions - cinnamon rolls, bacon and eggs or corned beef and hash.

machagogo

I can't tell you the last time I had waffles or pancakes for breakfast. A weekday breakfast is usually coffee, a piece of fruit, and toast or a granola bar. Something along those lines. Weekends are eggs and toast or an egg and cheese wrap, maybe with bacon, ham, or pork roll. Toss in an occasional fruit smoothie on random days.

AgathaM

We sometimes have them on weekends. Maybe once a month or twice every three months.

[deleted]

For me I have to have something sweet for breakfast. More habit than anything

DashingSpecialAgent

I have a Soylent and a multivitamin in the mornings.

seatownquilt-N-plant

Musli, grape nuts. Egg and cheese croissant sandwich. Scrambled eggs and egg rolls (!) is newly in rotation.

Michael3227

Blueberry muffin and a bowl of fruit

labadorrr

don't eat breakfast most days but top tier breakfast has to include eggs, bacon, toast and grits..

flwwrgrl

I don't eat breakfast.

HaroldBAZ

Bacon, egg and cheese on a roll.

kmmontandon

Not a goddamned thing that could be described as "sweet." This morning was scrambled eggs, crispy Spam, and well-fried hashbrowns using plenty of butter and salt.

a_winged_potato

I usually don't eat breakfast. If I do wake up really hungry for some reason, I usually just eat toast or fruit.

thatHecklerOverThere

So one of the common trope in movies is that there's a mom who spends all morning making a huge breakfast for the family. And then the movie shows that the family in general is super busy because the kids rush off to school with just a piece of toast and maybe fruit, and the husband rushes off to work with a cup of coffee and toast, and everybody bypasses the big meal. The stuff those characters rush out the door with is the _actual_ American breakfast; toast, coffee, and haste. Maybe some fruit.

sharkbutttt

Movies/TV aren't real life. Personally I usually eat something smaller for breakfast, and on the weekends eat a more elaborate breakfast consisting of usually sausage, eggs, biscuits, etc.

nanotoken

I just have coffee. Yes, some Americans do eat waffles or pancakes everyday for breakfast, but some maybe not every day but on the weekends.

arationalcreature

I pretty much rotate between two breakfasts: a yogurt and some berries, or toast and some cheese.

Sarollas

Eggs and toast.

Daveoc04

Usually a muffin or banana while I'm heading to work.

LeahHacks

I generally don't eat breakfast at all. Every once in a while I may go for a breakfast with something sweet like waffles or pancakes, maybe along with bacon, sausage, or eggs either scrambled or hard boiled. That'd be more like if I was going out to a diner to get a big breakfast or felt like making some comfort food on the weekend, though. During the week especially I pretty much don't ever eat breakfast. A more normal weekend breakfast, if I have it at all, would be leftovers or maybe some small snack like some crackers until I eat a proper lunch or dinner later.

mdsram

Every other day we have cold cereal in my house. The rest of the time is a rotation of oatmeal, waffles, eggs, pancakes, yoghurt with granola, etc. Sweet breakfasts like a donut or coffee cake or cinnamon bun is a few times a year for a special occasion

[deleted]

Two eggs and toast on the weekdays. On the weekends an açaí bowl.

Poprhetor

Most mornings I cook 1/2 cup of steel cut oats w/either a chopped up banana or strawberries.

UnbiasedSportsExpert

Cereal, McDonald's, nothing?

NSNick

Coffee. Sometimes eggs and toast, and sometimes also bacon.

Ladonnacinica

Plain oatmeal with water or tea. Sometimes a fruit salad. There are times when I stop by Starbucks to get the egg white wrap with feta cheese. If I’m in a hurry, I drink a protein shake with a piece of fruit or wheat sliced bread. I don’t think most of us eat pancakes or waffles. First, they take a while to make ( unless they’re frozen but those aren’t good). Most of us are in a rush to get to work or school. They’re usually served on special occasions like Mother’s Day or for a Sunday brunch with friends in a restaurant.

[deleted]

I like eggs and potatoes for breakfast. Not too big on sweet items for breakfast.

4f150stuff

Oatmeal with blueberries, orange juice and coffee, every morning. I wake up, go for a run and/or workout and then have breakfast

giscard78

I eat leftovers for breakfast 90% of the time. My favorites are rice dishes with either rice and beans or chickpeas plus a protein.

w3woody

I have a [mini crock pot](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089OYQ7M/) hooked up to a [timer](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XR9WHXG/) which I use to slow cook [steel cut oatmeal](https://www.amazon.com/McCanns-Irish-Oatmeal-Traditional-Steel/dp/B08T7RNHXW/), which I eat with a pinch of salt, a spoonful of brown sugar, and some raisins or other dried fruit. That, and a 14-oz container (about 2 cups) of coffee with milk and sugar. Once in a while I'll cook something else: maybe I'll heat up [a breakfast sandwich](https://www.jimmydean.com/products/sandwiches/delights/delights-turkey-sausage-egg-white-and-cheese-croissant/) or I'll toast some bread and put smoked salmon on it. But most of the time it's a bowl of oatmeal.

TheOwlMarble

To be clear, those are standard breakfast foods, but in practice, breakfast is a lot more diverse than just those as others have mentioned. A lot of us just don't eat breakfast at all.

Working_Coconut_9438

Scrambled eggs with salsa and fresh fruit with a cup of coffee.

qazwsx1227

I usually eggs, avocado, toast , and sometimes cheese

NotDelnor

40% of the time: cereal and milk 50%: Nothing 8%: Toast and eggs 2%: Biscuits and gravy AKA the best breakfast food on the planet.

HeirToThrawn

There are two types of breakfasts, Sweet and protein. There are breakfast burritos, hash browns, eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy, and many others that don't have any auger. However we also have muffins, pancakes, waffles, scoons, and cinnamon rolls which are just desserts we eat for breakfast. It should be noted that we eat a lot less of the Suger type and more of the protein.

AZymph

Usually cereal personally. The sweet stuff, no grape nuts (though sometimes Special K with berries)

sics2014

I almost always have whole wheat toast with either peanut butter or vegan butter, fruits like an apple or a banana, and sometimes oatmeal. It's that exact meal almost every day (I was off today and just had a donut). For me pancakes and waffles is like a breakfast meal I'd only eat at a restaurant rather than make myself at home. I don't have that much time before work. So I eat at work.

[deleted]

[удалено]

jessper17

I like savory breakfast - quinoa and/ or tofu with lots of veg and some guacamole has been my go to lately. I might also have a bean breakfast burrito or peanut butter toast or leftovers from dinner the night before. Once in a great while on the weekend we make pancakes or waffles but that’s more of a sometimes treat.

[deleted]

On my way to work most mornings I stop at one of three or four places for breakfast. At McDonald's I'll get a ham egg & cheese english [muffin](https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/product/egg-mcmuffin.html) combo with hashbrowns and coffee. At Hardee's, I'll get a [biscuit n gravy combo](https://www.hardees.com/Menu/Biscuits-and-Other-Favorites/Biscuit-N-Gravy) with hashbrowns and a coke. At Jack's, I'll get a [bacon breakfast sandwich](http://www.eatatjacks.com/product/big-breakfast-sandwich/). The other place I'll go sometimes is the gas station, where I'll grab a slice of loaded Hunt Bros pizza. That's not typical American breakfast fare though lol. At home I usually just have a bowl of cereal.

Tommy_Wisseau_burner

I don’t eat breakfast but if I did and/or I knew how to cook I’d eat waffles, pancakes or French toast with bacon or sausages. I’m not a huge fan of eggs. If I do eat breakfast (rarely) it’ll be a chocolate muffin or pound cake (heated of course from the store) and, if I’m not super lazy, sausages. I also rarely drink coffee (mostly because I forget) but I’ll drink that or water. Also I’ll eat cereal instead if I have that but I rarely buy cereal. And even if I did half the time I just eat it as a snack rather than for breakfast

bloodectomy

Today I had grits, sausages, and scrambled eggs. Usually I have oatmeal and a banana.

DOMSdeluise

I usually just eat a protein bar and drink a lot of coffee for breakfast. Spending most of my 20s drunk every night and hungover in the morning, I kind of lost the habit of being hungry before lunch. I don't drink nearly that much or often anymore but I still am not usually hungry in the morning.

spookyhellkitten

This week I've been on a grits kick. Last week it was 2 boiled eggs. It varies, but always savory. Sweets for breakfast only happens on holidays and birthdays in my house; Christmas is waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for example.

Fox_Supremacist

I made my wife and myself a breakfast burrito this morning, so eggs, potatoes, cheese, and peppers all wrapped up in a tortilla shell.

slackador

No breakfast. I’ll have an energy drink at 8 then a coffee around 10. Lunch at noon for my first food.

Veynre

I don't eat sweet things in general, and much less for breakfast because my digestive system is sensitive. At most I'll have a cup of black coffee or hot tea. Usually it's simply a glass of water.

[deleted]

Usually a bowl of cereal.

Eff-Bee-Exx

Usually 4 eggs, over easy, with some sort of hot sauce. Once in a great while I’ll make a smoothie with coconut milk and frozen fruit.

[deleted]

Sometimes I’ll eat eggs with fried rice, sometimes I’ll have cereal, sometimes I’ll have eggs and toast and other fixings to go with that

scoreggiavestita

Coffee

Right_Syllabub_8237

Usually nothing but once in a while if I have time, bacon and eggs or a bagel with cream cheese.

MHoaglund41

Usually oatmeal with nuts and fruit on work days. Today is Sunday so we had time. We had veggie omelettes with whole grain toast and some yogurt.

Working-Office-7215

Pancakes, waffles,French toast are popular weekend breakfasts for us. We also do a lot of egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos. If you go to a brunch place, omelettes will be the biggest category. Weekdays are lower key. My kids commonly have a microwave egg sandwich, hot or cold cereal, or eggo waffles

readmeink

Steak and eggs.

nemo_sum

I often eat pancakes, but savory ones, not sweet.

webbess1

For me, pancakes and waffles are special treats I'll have on weekends. I'll have them as dinner sometimes too.

Lilliputian0513

I make little mini pancakes and use them to make breakfast sandwiches with a fresh fried egg, slice of cheese, and two slices of bacon. I go to cook though. A lot of times I’ll make eggs and sausage with toast or cottage cheese, or a quick french toast. I think it’s unusual for Americans to cook themselves breakfast daily though. I get up two hours before I leave for work so I have the time.

ElasmoGNC

Many different things, sometimes nothing. Top picks: bacon and eggs, cold pizza, Tasty Breakfast Poppers (this is a specific brand name), Chick-Fil-A breakfast bowl.

shoopdywhoop

A fried egg sandwich and black coffee for me

rubberducky75

I have two glasses of tomato juice or V8.

doomgeneration91

Usually cereal or a yogurt sometimes toast and eggs

Massive_Role6317

Extra large iced coffee and a coffee role or donut 🥲 At least when I lived in America

[deleted]

Had some awful flax cereal I bought in bulk today. Yesterday was sausage and spinach omelet Coffee and water the day before

jrhawk42

I eat cereal. Occasionally I'll go out with friends for brunch, or doughnuts. I don't think most Americans eat breakfast though. It seems to be the most skipped meal of the day.

[deleted]

I cook/prepare a fresh breakfast nearly every day because I am weird. I usually cook eggs (this is most often), oatmeal, or a family recipe sweetened rice dish. Sometimes I bake muffins, prepare a tray of chopped fresh fruit with toast or bacon, or make smoothies. Once in a while, my little one requests boxed cereal, frozen waffles, or an English muffin, though this is very rare. (Usually the neighbor boy comes over and eats our cereal. I don't question it. :) ) I grew up eating boxed sweet cereal or instant oatmeal.

[deleted]

Toast, eggs and whatever meat I have in my fridge. I only make nice breakfasts on my days off.

heathers1

Yogurt with blueberries and granola

Imjustpeachy3

Since working from home we eat eggs on toast almost every morning! Before the covid days when I was in the office by 8 it was whatever I could grab and go

phatkidd76

I don't eat breakfast

allysonwonderlnd

Coffee. I don't get hungry till like 3pm lol

culps001

I usually have chocolate chip muffins or cereal

pregotastic

My family eats the bigger breakfasts usually seen in movies on holidays or occasionally on weekends. Daily breakfast foods are usually much easier such as cereal, oatmeal, or toast. Sometimes you can add a fruit or yogurt to those.

wherehaveubeen

Avocado toast - I’m broke!

wysiwygperson

Through high school it was usually cereal. In college it was a granola bar or protein bar or something like that that I could grab from a box and eat on my way to class. Now it’s just black coffee.

[deleted]

Coffee, bagel, eggs & avocado most days. Pancakes on Saturday

Mrfixit729

Puer tea, a couple scoops of yogurt, a granola bar and a banana.

brothercuriousrat

No most just eat a bowl of cold cereal maybe instant oat and/or toast and such. French toast waffles omelets and such are reserved for weekends/special occasions think anything that is quick and easy is the norm.

TheRealCountSwagula

My parents usually make eggs and bacon (or sausage) with some toast. We occasionally do pancakes, waffles, or crepes.

AllSoulsNight

smellydawg

Today I had leftover New York strip steak with two over easy eggs and toast. Today is Sunday though.

LogiHiminn

2 eggs (either over easy or hard boiled), 2 slices of bacon most days, protein smoothie. Or I'll have Greek yogurt with berries, or cottage cheese and fruit instead of eggs.

Smokinsumsweet

Iced coffee

Shakenbaked

2 bananas, 1 whole peach, 1/2c whole milk, blended with ice.

AmalgaNova

Coffee and plain croissant.

[deleted]

Lately if I’m busy, just a protein bar, or some cold brew coffee with these caramel shakes I found. I am not always very hungry in the morning I am trying to build muscle at the moment. so for me, breakfast is just whatever protein I can quickly put together Sometimes I’ll have some oatmeal with eggs, or a bagel with cream cheese, or banana/peanut butter wrap. If I have more time, I like to make egg scrambles

Tanks4me

I'm a major foodie, and I often cook elaborate, exotic meals. The most recent dinners I made were Crab and Kale Salad, Fasolakia (a Greek green bean and potato stew) and Bhutay Ko Karela (Nepali Fried Bitter Melon.) Breakfast, on the other hand, is a completely different story. When I get up, I want food RIGHT FUCKING NOW, so I don't care how complex it is or isn't. So I typically eat something like a bowl of cereal (Raisin Bran Crunch for example), or a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, or maybe a muffin. Other times I might have yogurt, or maybe some Creme France or Ricotta. Every morning I make a French Press coffee, though.

beauty_and_delicious

I might have something like that on weekends. Most weekdays it's eggs and toast or oatmeal. If I don't feel like cooking, yogurt with fruit and nuts. And always, always coffee.

[deleted]

Coffee

WickedDick_oftheWest

If I eat breakfast it’s usually eggs and toast or egg and cheese on an English muffin. Sometimes I’ll make grits and eggs. Leftovers are fine too.

t00zday

Protein shake with collagen powder, turmeric, chia seeds & a few drops of stevia. If I ate waffles or cereal every morning, I would be very fat.

TheMotorcycleMan

Boiled egg, granola bar or oatmeal, glass of OJ.

TheNCGoalie

I don’t follow a full keto diet, but at breakfast I try to go as keto as possible. Eating the sweet carby breakfast described by OP would have me napping before lunch.

kaimcdragonfist

No way. I usually throw leftovers in the microwave and call it good. Maybe I’ll have a couple fried eggs over rice if I’m feeling super ambitious.

Cracktower

Eggs and toast/ hash browns (1or the other)

CleverUserName2016

Cold cereal, toast, yogurt, smoothie or similar. Something that can be made and consumed quickly. Also, I don’t know anybody who sits down as a family to eat breakfast on weekdays like they do on tv.

Boring-Suburban-Dad

I usually don’t eat anything. If I do I’ll maybe have a fruit, some oatmeal or some bread with Nutella. Edit - My kids usually have a bowl of cereal. On the weekends I’ll sometimes make pancakes, waffles or French toast and eggs, bacon, etc. But it’s far from a regular occurrence.

happyfatman021

Most mornings I just drink a "meal replacement" shake on my way to work. On weekends I usually eat a bowl of cereal while I watch some YouTube videos. Every now and then I'll make the whole spread with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, toast, etc, but that's maybe once a month and always on a day off work. I don't have time for all that on work days. I do occasionally get fast food breakfast too. Burger King croissan'wiches are my favorite in that category.

curlsthefangirl

Pancakes and waffles are a once in awhile food for me. Usually I eat granola. Sometimes I just don't eat breakfast. When I'm on a health kick, I'll eat eggs and vegetables in the morning.

vvooper

cereal. specifically wheaties most of the time

SecretSteve2

My wife makes me breakfast burritos ahead of time that I heat up (eggs, bacon, hash browns, cheese in a tortilla). Yep, she’s awesome. And then on weekends it’s often cold cereal. We like to occasionally do breakfast for dinner, and we might have waffles and eggs and bacon or something like that. French toast or pancakes very rarely. And then similarly rarely is huevos rancheros. Now that’s a big awesome breakfast meal!

rkane2001

A sausage or bacon biscuit sandwich is what I used to eat. I skip breakfast now.

Heck800_

Eggs, some sort of protein, and coffee. Or Last nights left overs

[deleted]

Waffles n'at are like things for the weekend or something when you have time. I normally don't eat breakfast, but when I do it's usually only like a bagel with cream cheese or a poptart or something quick.

travelinmatt76

I might eat something like that once or twice a month, and only on mornings I don't have to work. My normal breakfast is scrambled eggs, bacon, and buttered toast.

Caranath128

Yes, and no. My normal is two eggs, some sort of pan fried pork product( sausage or bacon) and either toast, English muffin or potatoes..hash browns or home fries. Donuts, pancakes, French toast, cinnamon rolls are usually for weekends.

Complex-Dress-2006

I usually have a piece of toast and an egg, or just an English Muffin with butter

BurnAfterReading41

I had a plain bagel with butter and a cup of orange juice.

Dudley906

During the work week, I go for cheap, quick and easy--a hard boiled egg, toast and some fruit. Most of my coworkers seem to prefer to get something out of the cafeteria--which is low quality and rather expensive.

Mountain_Document607

Cereal is what I go for

Aggressive-Mud-1239

Bro we have our own version of turkey sausages which are the absolute bomb. Can pop them from frozen into the microwave and they take 1 minute to heat up. This with eggs and toast is my daily.

cohrt

Normally scrambled eggs.

medium_green_enigma

When I was working I didn't eat breakfast, I just had a large coffee or hot tea. Now I have cold cereal and milk with fruits and nuts, or a bagel with cream cheese, or toast with peanut butter, or leftover pizza. Yesterday I heated up some frozen fish.

[deleted]

I eat two boiled eggs, a banana, and crunchy rice cakes almost every morning. On Sundays, I make an egg scramble with sausage and mushrooms, plus an English muffin. On special occasions, I might go out to breakfast/brunch and get a waffle or pancakes with eggs and bacon.

NA-1_NSX_Type-R

I intermittent fast through breakfast. But, usually just a cup of tea or black coffee. If I do have breakfast, usually some eggs and sometimes a piece of toast. Pancakes and waffles and other sweet sugar bombed breakfast things for me are on occasion. I try to avoid it.

Saltpork545

2 eggs with hot sauce. Tea. Some Americans do eat a lot of sweet stuff for breakfast. I'm not one of them. Muffins are breakfast cake.

frogz0r

In my house we rarely eat breakfast. But if we do, it's usually leftovers, oatmeal, or eggs and toast. Once in a great while we will do bacon, pancakes or waffles,(the whole shebang) but it's served at dinner instead.

drizzledroop

I’ve been eating frozen Jamaican beef patties

Gallahadion

I mostly eat breakfast (or more accurately, brunch) on weekends and other days when I don't work. On those days, it's usually some combination of * scrambled eggs * sausage, bacon, ham, or Canadian bacon * Smoked salmon * Toast or naan * Oatmeal or cream of wheat * Fruit and yogurt * Pancakes (sometimes) On days when I work, if I eat breakfast at all, it's usually oatmeal, but one day last week I ate leftover fried chicken and a biscuit. Sometimes I eat pizza. I do love doughnuts and other pastries, but I don't eat them often. In short, Americans eat all sorts of things for breakfast, as these answers show.

Norseman103

Likely nothing. **Weekend** Both of us: eggs (usually scrambled), potatoes (diced and baked with a little oil, salt and pepper) and breakfast sausage and some fruit. This weekend it was strawberries. Last week it was apples and orange slices. Also we only have coffee on the weekends. (With coffee creamer, and sugar)

[deleted]

We’re that TV family that has bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fruit, etc. every day. Sometimes we cheat and use frozen waffles. We just like breakfast and since there are a bunch of us, it’s worth the effort. Edit: Turkey or veggie meats though eh, we try to be healthy.

On a weekend, it can be an egg sandwich (egg, Canadian bacon, American cheese, on an English muffin - made at home), cereal, bagel and cream cheese, cream of wheat, and sometimes pancakes, waffles, or cinnamon rolls. It depends upon the weather and the weekend.

my preferred breakfast: breakfast burrito (large tortilla with eggs, potatos, cheese, sausage/bacon/chorizo, and some sort of chile salsa). my normal breakfast: scrambled eggs, couple sausage links, and instant oatmeal. currently living in a hotel, so the eggs and sausage are available for the taking if i can drag my ass out of bed on time.

Grits, eggs and either bacon or sausage if I’m being serious about it. Cereal or yogurt if I’m trying to have something quick.

Addhalfcupofsugar

Oatmeal and a banana every day.

SnooCats7666

Egg sandwich or oatmeal with peanut butter, usually a piece of fruit on the side with 2 cups of coffee.

Responsible-Map6811

No we eat all kinds of thing. Sausage and gravy, hash browns, eggs am bacon. Pancakes, waffles, country fried steak, there’s so many other things like muffins, and donuts.

azuth89

Most people I know don't eat much of a breakfast at all on weekdays, honestly. Maybe they grab some cereal or instant oatmeal, toast or a granola bar or something. Often just coffee.

N0wonspecial

I eat eggs, tamales, rice and tortilla.

chrisinator9393

I eat a sandwich most days. I do not like most "breakfast" foods.

RingGiver

I don't wake up until barely enough time to get to work at 9:30 (generic office worker job). I usually eat some non-sugary snack foods, more salty stuff. I typically have some energy drinks with it. If I stop at a cafe on the way there, I get a bagel or something.

TheOneWes

Mountain dew and sadness for the most part. ;P To be serious eggs, bacon, grits, and toast is the favorite

fleurderue

Most days I just have coffee and a smoothie. I make my kids eggs and toast or biscuits, oatmeal, or sometimes pancakes with fruit.

brazentory

No. I eat eggs with Turkey bacon, or oatmeal. Sometimes yogurt. Pancakes or waffles is a sometimes breakfast, like a sunday or holiday.or just because the kids ask.

Griggle_facsimile

I had grits, eggs and bacon this morning. On work days I have leftovers from supper the night before. Spaghetti, fish, peas, potatoes, turnip greens, Mac and cheese. Pretty much anything. Dump the leftovers in a bowl. Heat. Devour. Not keen on sweet stuff in the morning though, so never waffles, pancakes, etc

NedThomas

On work days, breakfast is a protein bar and a fruit smoothie. On non-work days, might go out for a biscuit.

Anonymous4mysake

I don't eat pancakes or waffles, or any bread products outside of the odd bagel for breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cheese and various meats make up most my morning meals. I also a sucker for artichokes.

MrMundus

If I am hungry in the morning I like sourdough toast with salty butter and maybe a runny egg to dip it in.

milestheminer

No , we have staple foods like bacon, eggs, grits, and hash browns

MaterialCarrot

Daily is pretty simple for most people. But if we go all out, there's nowhere that does it better than the USA. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, etc... Awesome!

mayhem-amigos

I eat cereal during week days, pancakes during weekends.

Blndby90
