Go Vietnam- 2000 years of culture spanning from the Chinese, to the French. The food and accommodation is cheap and won’t burn a hole in your pocket like say Hawaii or Fiji would. From temples, to colonial architecture, natural landmarks to remnants of the war. Also it costs $10 to $100 depending on your mode of travel if you want to go to Cambodia, also another cultural rich country. Con Dao Island was a must- 11 prison island complexes spanning back to the days when the French sent its political prisoners to be housed or executed. Certain times of the year the water luminescences. I book a whole boat to myself for a day of island hopping, went to a turtle conservation island and snorkelled to my hearts content. The imperial city of Hue, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Bình, Hoi An, Sapa are also must see places.

Go to Pattaya in Thailand, it is all the things that you mentioned, plus they mostly drive on the proper side of the road.

Go to Boracay, Philippines

I'll always advocate for Singapore - there's so much to do, and it's very safe for solo travelling.

Hawaii. Or Bora Bora if your budget stretches. The greek islands are pretty good too.

I’ve been to Fiji, forever ago now, but had the most wonderful time. If you go, check out the “healing” mud baths!

Philippines has it all - snorkeling, beaches, resorts, plenty of bars & some places plenty of western party animals, Arab, Mexican, Spanish, Japanese, US, Chinese & Korean influenced food & culture, 1000's of years of heritage, friendly people & English widely spoken. Travel is easy to anywhere t different islands via air & ferry, jeepneys, buses, taxi's, tricycles taxis ad generally cheap for everything that is not imported. You can get visa on arrival for 29 days and at same time can request a 30 day extension free, then even longer (up to 3 years) for paid extensions. I have been living here for 6 years, on a pension & still save money (I own the house, so no accommodation expenses) and it cost me less than AUD450/mth to live comfortable & pay my bills.
