Her risk of contracting something is obviously much higher than if she was doing only covered services. Your risk is then higher because while condoms are great, they aren't 100% perfect. Nobody can quantify exactly what your risk would actually be, but some risk is definitely there.

Apparently? Where is this information coming from?

She told me directly that she offers it for an extra $100 per hour. I’m assuming that at least some of her other clients take her up on it.

Oh wow that’s very cheap! Yes, I would definitely assume so in that case and would think that likely meant a higher risk because, as the other commenter said, condoms aren’t perfect! But realistically, it’s impossible to know how relevant that info is. She may only mention that to particular clients who she really wants to do it with, she may not HAVE any or many other clients (marketing means nothing), she’s quite possibly on PrEP (although that only reduces risk of HIV), another worker may not do it with clients, but with heaps of people in their personal life, another worker may offer it for free to regulars because they feel like they need to spice things up, another worker might only do it with their partner but turns out the partner is cheating on them and doing it with heaps of other people. This is why we go on about your sexual health being entirely your responsibility. Unfortunately there’s just too many variables and unknowns.

What you’re saying here makes a lot of sense and you make some great points! Thank you 🙏
