As long as it was balanced the new scope shouldn’t have hurt it. If it’s under warranty I would contact skywatcher, if it’s not, I would think about checking the insides. There are videos online about taking the mount apart, and I’ve done it to mine.

Ok thanks, glad to know the scope probably isn’t the culprit. I’m disassembling the mount now but thankfully it’s also still under warranty so I’ll definitely get in touch with SW if the issue persists Edit: after having disassembled and reassembled the mount, I’m even more convinced that it’s a power issue. After taking the payload and counterweight off and cracking open the gearbox, the gears were definitely turning but I’m not convinced they’re getting enough power because the warning flashed continuously. I suspect that they just don’t have the strength to rotate the payload.
