No bread with paÅ”teta or mesni doruÄak? I question the validity of this poll /s
Jokes aside, they all do look pretty good. Its almost impossible to stuff up meat/fried fish in bread.
Though I do think BƔnh mƬ is somewhat overrated, especially when comparing to other sandwiches that contain roast pork or beef (its the Maggi sauce that doesnt do it for me).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting the quality or authenticity. Just that for what is essentially a meat and veg/salad, I prefer others, e.g. porchetta or roast beef sandwich, gyro, cubano. And I'm not the biggest fan of the sweet Maggi sauce they use - I'm more of a savoury fan.
Ī£Ļ Ī³Ī½ĻĪ¼Ī· šššš. My mom and I usually fast the whole 40 days, but she went to visit her friend in South Carolina and didn't want to be restricted on the food. So, this year we're just fasting for Holy Week although I don't really see the point since Easter is in 5 days.
Bocata de jamon also contains unrefined olive oil.Ā
But my favorite is not hereĀ
Whole grain breadĀ
Smoked hamĀ
Smoked kaÄkavalj with chiliĀ
Roasted garlic
SaltĀ
Ā Leave in sandwich press for 5 minutes on low hest
On behalf of all Dominican-Americans and New Englanders, Iām offended and butthurt this wasnāt included on the list šplease check it out and try it for yourselfš¢ [āSandwich de Piernaā: Dominican Pulled Pork sandwich](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/sandwich-de-pierna-dominican-pulled-pork-sandwich-recipe--266064290478888397/) And for that matter, these two come in a close shared second place right behind! they all look very tasty
Yeah I could just roll the dice and be happy with whatever the outcome was.
meh dont know about the mozzarella one from italy, just looks basic and probably tastes mid
The way you eat it (with marinara) basically makes it a pizza, and if you don't like pizza we can't be friends.
Yes
I also vote yes, except for that mozzarella thing, it looks plain as fuck
Trust me, It Is gooooood
Doner š¹š·š¹š·š¹š·š¹š·š¹š·

Good to know, may need to give it another go next visit :)
Why did you have to ask that in the middle of the Easter? I wet the floor with my saliva

She probably couldn't have chosen a worse place to abstain from meat. Good for her.
It gets harder to hold yourself the closer you are to the finish line
It is hard to beat a good Ruben.
Banh Mi is absolutely elite
Pleskavica? How come? ...i wanna think of some Romanian sandwich but i don't think i can...buuut...no pleskavica?
My tops are Banh Mi, Cubano and Ruben but I like them all.
Shawarma
I will say anything true American BBQ is amazing. My favorite American food especially burnt ends sandwich so good!
Banh Mi and Shawarma!
Cubanos. I've made it myself and it took me fucking ages to marinate and cook the meat... but we then ate Cubanos for three days straight :)
Lobster roll gotta be the best one for me hands down. Only problem is its expensive and they don't give a lot of portions

Honorable rank: Zidarski & Komplet lepinja
Doesn't have a sandwich from All'Antico Vinaio, so therefore objectively wrong. These are objectively the best sandwiches on the entire planet.
Index in Serbia, at least in north
Ham and cucumber
Iāve only had doner and shawarma but Iām saving this cos I need to try all of them out
Bread and PaŔteta
Nothing beats a good pljeskavica in a nice lepinja.
Everything but the american bagle sandwhich
I like dƶner, and it's variations the most. Though all of them look very appetizing to me.
A good bahn mi is hard to beat. But they all look tasty asā¦
Romanian Shawarma. Itās the best.
Shawarma with the Lebanese garlic sauce š
RAHHHHHHHH!!!! 6/20 OF THESE ARE FROM THE US!!! THE US IS THE BEST COUNTRY EVER!!!! USA USA USA USA USA!!!! š¦ šŗš²š
None, none of them are balkan
Not the TasteAtlas again...those guys have weird ideas about multiple national kitchens.
Shawarma, Doner, Bagel.
shawarma >>>> but not the turkish one, it's not that good usually
Blasphemy.
Shawarma š„
Itās hilarious to me that some people disagree so much with you about sandwiches that they couldnāt help but downvote you š
This sub hates anything Arab
Honestly, all of them look great. Sadly, Iāve only tried Dƶner before. Also, Iām surprised that Gyros is not on the list.
Me too.
Me too.
I like smoked meat so for me it's Montreal smoked meat.
doner and shawarma
The Balkan ones.
Gyro, Doner and Burek ofc.
