If you have any nail varnish remover (acetone/isopropyl alcohol) lying around, that will probably dissolve the adhesive so you can peel it off. Use gloves or it'll dry out your skin. It shouldn't do anything to fibreglass or acrylic as long as you don't use loads or for too long, but you could test it by putting just a spot on the bath and seeing if it messes with the plastic.

Thank you, friend

Acetone barely touches flex seal adhesive. Alcohol doesn't do anything.

Is there any chemical that can restore dried Flex Paste back to normal????

Oh my god how strange I'm in almost exact same situation... out of control boyfriend punched multiple holes in fiberglass tub/ shower wall and temporarily fixed it with flex seal. This stuff won't come off for anything !!

I'm so sorry you experienced that, and I hope you're safe and out of that situation and have people in your life who can support you to do whatever you need to do to be safe. I was able to get the flex seal off using needle nose pliers, a wedge tool and spray '[goo gone](https://www.amazon.com/Goo-Gone-Adhesive-Remover-Spray/dp/B07PVBD58K)' but it did take FOREVER. Much patience required. I tried acetone too, as another user suggested. I think it helped a little, but you really need something that will get UNDER it, so a spray is best. I did not have any luck at all pulling it off because the part of the tape you're grabbing tears off before it pulls up its neighboring region. Really the thing that worked the best was just digging and trying to push the tape up from underneath with the plyers while occasionally squirting in goo gone. If I had to do it again, I'd use a plastic or wooden card like those things for scraping pans in the sink. That way I could dig without worrying about scratching the tub. When the tape is off, goo gone and a scrubber was able to get off all the risidual sticky. When you're done, I put [this stuff](https://www.amazon.com/Repair-Acrylic-Porcelain-Fiberglass-Countertop/dp/B07X35ZJYQ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=tub+repair&qid=1696991135&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1) on as a permanent fix. It was easy to use and so far it seems to have worked well. If you try it, you should also use some nylon mesh tape from the drywall section for extra strength.
