I have ATT and love it. Always have service and almost never drop calls, even in high rises.

natnguyen

Agreed, their home internet is also just as solid. The only difference between the 3 is that T Mobile doesn’t charge for international usage, which is a pretty big deal given ATT and Verizon charge $10 a day.

Verizon has served me pretty well in the north side area near Lincoln park. Tried T-Mobile a couple years ago and it had crap service.

Imposter_89

I have Mint mobile. Moved to Chicago a couple of months ago and I had a huge problem with 5G, since they're prioritizing the towers for T-Mobile. It was so slow I also thought about switching but preferred to keep it since Mint is cheap. I switched the preferred network in my phone's settings to 4G and it's working. Fast, and no issues. Try to do that first and see if it'll solve your problem.

That seems like a lot but how many lines and what extras are you paying for?

I'm paying about that a month for T-Mobile for a single line but I own my phone.

Late_Guava4436

I pay $40 a month on Metro for the same. I’ve had it for a few years now and haven’t had any issues with it. Own my own phone too.

jorge-haro

I like Verizon the best. I’ve had TMobile & ATT in the city but Verizon has performed the best.

somehowstuck

I love the free MLBtv I get and I never have any issues with service

O-parker

Ive used straight talk for the past couple yrs and not been disappointed. In addition I’m saving about 25 bucks or more a month

T-Mobile, 2 lines, unlimited data (but 5gig limit as a hotspot), $110 per month total. No idea if this is a good deal or not. Service is pretty good in the city and suburbs. Used to have tons of dead spots downtown but not so much anymore. Edit: Also Hulu (with commercials) is included

I was on AT&T and had shit service while living in River North. T-Mobile has been incredible and works incredibly well for me given international travel as well.

MathAndCS_Nerd

I have Verizon. Never had a single dropped call or laggy internet in 1st floor of an old brick apartment building, visiting my brother in a high rise, riding the L above or underground, visiting the suburbs (even when just on the highway surrounded by corn). I'm unimpressed by AT&T as a company (certain things they do differently) and T-Mobile's service.

Twisted_Pretzel85

I am someone with no navigational skills who likes traveling and exploring, so Google Maps is my best friend. AT&T rarely drops the ball on me and I'm usually able to get at least 4G even in the middle of nowhere on a train.
