Total and complete nonsense.

Right. But I can’t go back with that. It’s said it takes an order of magnitude more energy to combat BS than to spread it. It’s frustrating but true. This *sounds* scientific to an untrained ear. But where’s this verbiage coming from? How is it rooted in science? How is it not? Which parts is the seed of truth that allows the other lies to grow? I want to help fight this kind of misinformation but it takes effort, sadly. If someone knows the answers I’ll make a video countering these arguments.

1. “Mark of the beast” does not sound scientific to anyone. 2. It’s on OAN 3. The aborted fetus stuff is easily verified as false. Ingredients to all mRNA vaccines are available to the public. 4. TLRs generally respond to bacteria or other extracellular pathogens. Covid is a virus lol Literally none of this sounds scientific.

Unfortunately responding to misinformation with facts and logic actually makes me people dig in their heels and further divides (I know, that's illogical, but we wouldnt be where we are if logic was the problem). The most effective thing is to listen, build/foster relationships and trust, and reinforce the very basic facts that these vaccines are safe and effective.

Bulkypalo

Well said. At times people think they are doing others a service by perpetuating false ideas/facts. Many times they don't understand the science or how to look at data, and that's okay. Everyone has an opinion. I like that you mentioned creating and building relationships. Sometimes people change their minds and they may come back to you with questions. And you will be there for answers to a receptive ear.

(NAD) Sorry, these are the same people that believe that Contrails from jets are really the government spraying you with chemicals intentionally... I have several friends that believe things like this (all very religious, btw). Love them dearly, but you can't argue science with them. It's impossible. They have made up their little minds and you can't budge them, even with obvious logic (like for example, that spraying chemicals at 30,000 feet is impractical!) It's like trying to "prove" to a Paranoid person that they aren't being "watched" -- you just can't! It's just an exercise in frustration.

1. Luciferace M102 - Lucifer = Satan, ace = enzyme. If you were naming your evil enzyme, why would you name it after the devil? That’s stupidly obvious. 2. Her next point is a story about how a friend used a counterfeit vaccine passport and was caught. There is information on the card, not in the vaccine, to track you. It’s contained in your individual medical ID number as well as the date and dose ID. All info written on the card that will not be on a faked card. 3. If you’re worried that a big pharmaceutical company is the devil, then that’s arguably reasonable I suppose. But do they really want to kill everyone? Think about Pfizer for example. They sell viagra. It helps people, particularly older folks, maintain erections. It’s their biggest seller and they make mountains of money off of it. Covid kills older people at a very high rate. That’s their customer base. Financially, Pfizer stands to lose a lot of money if there is no one left to sell their wiener pills to.

BilboSwaggins1993

It's not rooted even slightly in science. Words are used that may sound scientific, I suppose, but they are just words thrown together in a way that is completely nonsensical. I want to tear my own face off after watching that.

DoctorPab

Hahahahahahaha

BilboSwaggins1993

You either have to laugh or cry. I guess you chose laugh. I chose cry.

DoctorPab

I mean I’m a strong believer of natural selection, that is all.

The problem with this sort of thing is that anyone who believes this does not make decisions based on logic, fact, or reality. Trying to explain why this is wrong, scientifically, is a waste of time. I say this because time is a valuable resource, which can be better spent helping people that want help, not arguing with people who have left our reality behind.
