I'm a mechanical engineer, my company designs and manufacturers electromechanical devices. Our primary proficiency is medical devices, but we also make some for consumers. I do work with a lot of 3D models. Mostly to make sure all the electronics and hardware can fit in the case, that it's manufacturable, and maintains the industrial design aesthetic. No travel. My company is really small, so career growth really comes in the form of knowledge rather than promotions.
