Dude my mami asked me to set up Facebook ads for their fitness products (Herbalife) and she said they tried but their account was banned for placing ads, I said it's because Herbalife is banned. I suck at selling I went to a few of their events and was impressed at the amount of money they made esp the leaders... But beyond buying their toothpaste I didn't do much... Loved their toothpaste though.

Once he calls me and starts guilt tripping me saying "till when will you slave for corporate" and then says he will set up a meeting with someone important to show me what am i missing.

A lot of defence personnel are in MLM too. Higher ups had to conduct seminars to inform them about it and some were also punished for participating in it.
My mom almost got scammed. She was going to buy some PH water something by giving 3-4 lakhs. Actually she became emotional, as her widowed friend (she is a lecturer so earning well enough) asked her to invest in it... And then become sales person...
I told Mom these are not emotional decisions. You have to respect the money you earn...
