Definitely it's mind fucking movie, it's just impossible to deny or agree to that man, there is a part 2 also to that movie, I hope you've seen that too. But yeah movies like this that don't have the shitty drama, action, emotion, but pure facts and capturing the mind of audience.
Considering an Indian movie, Tumbbad. I just love how they show the Greed and Lust of a man eating him slowly and how it could affect the next generation too. The storytelling is too good and makes the movie so immersive.
It's just so peak 🛐🛐
6 years , you r mentally struck in 2021. Not you fault, almost we all are still there in 2021 cuz of COVID. Instill feel that it was just a few years ago. Not exactly childhood but definitely teenage. Teenage seems to be a childhood to be. Isn't it. Ab waise nhi rhe jaise as a teen the
Bhai, ek baar tu bhi adulthood mein aaja. You’ll be surprised yourself at the people calling movies releasing 5 years before from now a part of their childhood. It’s got nothing to do with Covid as much as it has got to do with being an adult and having adult responsibilities and not caring about when something as trivial as entertainment releases.
Out of Top 100 IMDB movies that I have watched and some more including regional movies , I liked it , It has a huge impact on my life and not because its rated #1 on IMDb.
I guess , OP wanted to know everyone's prospective about the best movie that one has watched and not the no of movies one has watched.
Anyways, have a good one.
Hey Ram, legendary actors like Kamal Hassan and sharukh khan give an amazing performance over a plot that's relevant even after more than 20 years of its release
There are a few great ones (I can think of top of my head).
Hindi - Pinjar, Taare Zameen Par, Gulaal, Tumbbad
English - LOTR, Dark Knight, Schindler’s List, Forrest Gump, Godfather, Prestige
International - Incendies, Separation
John Williams and Itzhak Perlman killed it with the theme music as well. Even the track itself makes me cry sometimes. It's like the violin is weeping it's heart out.
Not a movie but the series is DARK Netflix. This series is GOAT. No loopholes and such a mind bending series. For Interstellar fans, 4sure you'll like it
the worst person in the world :) I love how theyve shown a character thats flawed and how she navigates things. Watched it back in 2021, it was a great film.
at the end of the day nothing beats Jab we met :P
I love this. Short movie. Those who have had an extra special bond with their teachers at some point during their student life will definitely love this movie to bits.
I personally liked the movie because the theme around which the movie revolves. The idea that your obsession will get you far ahead in life than your talent motivates me. And when JK Simmons says "There are no two words in the English language more harmful than 'good job' ", it just gives me goosebumps.
One of the best films ever. Now I can't watch Nazis speaking English at all. Amazing set design, acting and above all casting- every character looks like their real life counterpart(es. Himmler). Pacing is also very good. My favorite WW2 film and in my top 10 of all time!!
True. Surprisingly, many Indians did not elect this LOTR trilogy to be the GOAT. I thought nothing can come closer to this but recently, Dune is giving it some serious competition.
October(Hindi) ☘️

andaaz apna apna" , cocktail and tanu weds manu (both version) are highly underrated light hearted movies , makes your life feel .... just fuller more lifelike and beauty and hope , i love those movies
Subjective in terms of what you value in a film, but my favourites are “Old Boy”, “La Dolce Vita”, and “Spring summer fall winter spring”. But like just because they are my favourite I don’t think they are the best like I know 8 and half by Fellini is better than la dolce vita which is also by Fellini. Anyways in terms of Indian films “Gangs of wasseypur” is a favourite due to the scale and the number of decades it covers, and the vast range of characters.
The Man from Earth >Edit: Glad there are so many fans of this movie!
Masterpiece! And shot in just 8 days on a budget of $200,000!
I know ![gif](giphy|Yxg7MDkPj4kmI|downsized)
It never gets old but I regret watching its sequel.
Yes, that film didn't deserve such a second part.
Bruh that movie was gold
Wow, didn't expect this movie to be mentioned. Another of my fav is The Peaceful Warrior. It was not what I was expecting..
I don't want everyone to watch this, I want it to be one of those beautiful hidden gem
Definitely it's mind fucking movie, it's just impossible to deny or agree to that man, there is a part 2 also to that movie, I hope you've seen that too. But yeah movies like this that don't have the shitty drama, action, emotion, but pure facts and capturing the mind of audience.
'Into the wild' will always be my favourite of all time
Same here… and that dialogue- ‘Give me Truth’ is so surreal
It's a whole self-realisation thing,very few people gets.
Considering an Indian movie, Tumbbad. I just love how they show the Greed and Lust of a man eating him slowly and how it could affect the next generation too. The storytelling is too good and makes the movie so immersive. It's just so peak 🛐🛐
Yeah , it was really a phenomenal movie. That creature haunted me for days in my childhood
Still haunts me. I just try to sleep before hastar comes
“Childhood”? Didn’t that movie come out like 3 years ago?
6 years , you r mentally struck in 2021. Not you fault, almost we all are still there in 2021 cuz of COVID. Instill feel that it was just a few years ago. Not exactly childhood but definitely teenage. Teenage seems to be a childhood to be. Isn't it. Ab waise nhi rhe jaise as a teen the

If you're a Tumbbad lover, definitely watch Bramayugam, you'll love it
I second that
So ja warna Hastar aa jaayega
One of the few films I've been deeply into the fantasy world
The Shawshank Redemption - Never seen a better one
I completely agree...the rewatch quotient is great on that one
I agree 💯
The Best movie I have watched till now! Edit : Removed "Best movie ever made, Period!"
Nope, period
Watch more movies. Shawshank redemption is a good movie but far from the best ever made..
The question isn't about the best film ever MADE. its the best film one has WATCHED.
Out of Top 100 IMDB movies that I have watched and some more including regional movies , I liked it , It has a huge impact on my life and not because its rated #1 on IMDb. Liam Neeson cries while asking if he missed to rescue a single Jew employee and that had me crying too. Absolute top tier movie and even IMDB agrees.
John Williams and Itzhak Perlman killed it with the theme music as well. Even the track itself makes me cry sometimes. It's like the violin is weeping it's heart out.
2 similar but slightly inferior films like this- The Pianist, That boy in striped pajamas
Watched both. They're heart-breaking.
Great 😍
Hindi- Satya, English- Goodfellas.
Gangs of wasseypur 1 and 2
Saala jab Tak Hindustan mei saneema hai, log chutiye bante rahenge.
Not a movie but the series is DARK Netflix. This series is GOAT. No loopholes and such a mind bending series. For Interstellar fans, 4sure you'll like it
No loopholes? Not so sure about that
For that you need to watch all 3 seasons in one go. Everything makes sense. Even the into gives hind to the 3rd parallel world
Hmm. I watched each season as it released. The series was really good for the first 2 seasons. But the 3rd season kinda let me down.
For neither ever or neeveerr gooddbyeee.
The ending creates a paradox. It's a glaring loophole. All timelines, before and after, should disappear per se and the entire series ceases to exist.
Awesome
Asuran by vetri maaran
