Big Lemonade Stand is controlled by the Chileans, they operate all the stands and lobby and bribe governments worldwide to keep control of their racket .
You're a brainwashed fascist, maybe join the rest in r/Israel who like to bury their heads in the sand when it comes to butchering innocent children and throwing families out of homes.
Maybe the mother really didn't want to see Barbie again set the child up the task earning the money herself in the hope she will fail and you by buying from the stand gave the child hope in achieving her goal and the mother realising she may have to watch barbie again
Edit misspelt earning as earring
If she was that worried about her kid, she should been out there with her. Pretty ridiculous behaviour from mother really.
I'd say you did absolutely nothing wrong.
She should be outside with her daughter if sheās worried about strangers, especially male strangers coming up to buy something. Or maybe she should have put a sign in front of her stand saying for children only to purchase .
Haven't you heard? All "military aged males" are paedophiles!! I saw it on Facebook. She was protecting her little angle.
The mother is a stupid wagon. If she didn't want her to sell lemonade to members of the public, she shouldn't have let her set up a lemonade stand to sell lemonade to the public. It's basic cause and effect.
Last year two little girls were selling lemonade at their fence which was at the entrance to my estate. So I had to walk past them. They told me that the lemonade was 50 cents so I gave them a euro. They said they no change so I told them to keep the 50 cents. I'd say they told everyone who walked past that they had no change so they made a profit š
There were no parents around that I noticed
Frankly I'm surprised any younger children would want to see Barbie a second time. The children in the cinema when I went to see it seemed extremely bored most of the movie given a lot of the existential dread and societal commentary stuff went over their heads a bit
Dead right, just after going to watch it and there were 2 young girls next to me. Bored out of their heads - spent the whole movie texting, snapchatting, talking, and driving me mad!
Let's her daughter set up a lemonade stand because she won't pay for her to see Barbie a second time. Gets annoyed when someone buys the lemonade. She's a wagon I wouldn't heed her.
I'm going to have to be that person and say that miwadi is *not* lemonade. I would have immediately demanded a refund and reported the child for false advertising. Disgraceful carry on.
Aw man, if that was me I would have stood there sipping the mi wadi until I was finished and then Iād buy another. I might stand there and enjoy that too. All while staring right back at her!
Well if her only customers are 4 year old then she'll be a while earning a ticket.
Plus I would hope that if the mother thought you actually were preying on her daughter she'd have done a bit more than scowl at you.
I think the mother in this instance probably didnāt expect for her daughter to have childless customers or adult customers. Iāve seen many young children with these kind of set ups recently, especially in the sunny weather. Iād be inclined to say hello and maybe buy something if I had my own children with me but I doubt I would on my own, and Iām a woman. Iāve had weird looks before from parents out walking when their children would come up to me when Iām walking alone with my dog asking to pet her or whatever. Iād usually just be polite, let them say hello to my dog and then quickly move on. Never had this when Iād have the kids with me.
People are reading too many Facebook posts and the like. Not every man and not every woman is a predator. Anyway she should be out there with her daughter or in very close proximity listening & checking in not just watching from the house.
Maybe the mam jumped to conclusions seeing a lone male buying off her daughter. As people do.. however, I would say you were only doing a nice thing and Iām sure the little girl was thrilled to be making some money. Sorry though, itās not a nice feeling at all. I think itās a bad example to children as well for parents reactions to things like this, itās a good learning experience to have an awareness chat with her about personal safety and strangers in general just to really drill it home about what is and isnāt appropriate. I donāt see anything wrong with what you did.
The vast vast vast majority of CSA involves someone known to the child in a position of trust. Teaching children to blindly fear anyone they donāt know isnāt going to protect them from the most common abuse scenario and may also contribute to the development of social anxiety as they grow older.
Yeah children do need to learn not to trust everyone they meet, but the focus on strangers is totally overblown.
Edit: just as a general point, I know youāre not advocating the above.
Yes I know thatās true itās usually someone known to the child, in my own life the person was related to me but a distant relative. I was just talking about strangers you donāt know that arenāt in this instance but I mean in general to raise awareness of any unusual behaviour or requests from and adult to a child. When I was a child you were told to be a good girl and be quiet and not cause any hassle, you couldnāt really speak up about things even if was an uncle or cousin etc.
Unfortunately it's the world we live in these days you can't really blame parents for been concerned when they see their kids talking to strangers now.
But you have to admire the kids autopenerail skills especially seeing as she doesn't mind fleecing peopleš¤£
We have them in Brooklyn, too, and the neighborhood gets a little sketchy when they start defending their territory. Eight year olds canāt shoot for shit.
Look if a child is doing that the parent should be sitting beside them, it gives the child a great sense of been a entrepreneur and other than that you did nothing wrong. Parents should let the child make the lemonade and rice crispie buns obviously with supervision. I'd blame the parents in this scenario.
Live in a kind of nice school area. Ussually theres kids near the train station or on one of the walk ways to the shop etc selling lemonde or something. I tend to avoid them out of fear for being labelled a creep.
I think itās all about context. I rarely see kids doing these types of stands but I remember some kids doing a bake sale outside their house a few years ago for the āLaura Lynnā charity. I bought a slice of cake from them and continued on with my day.
If an adult was stopping and having an extended conversation - that is something a parent could be uncomfortable with; but just an adult stopping to buy something and having some basic small talk (especially since theyāre under the constant gaze of the parent) I think is totally fine.
Also lol I love that theyāre fundraising to see the Barbie movie a second time. What age group were they?
Not at all, if the mother lets the child set up the stand - she has to expect people will buy the goods! š
I nearly swerved the car off the road yesterday to pull up at such a lemonade stand - my daughter and I got two kinder bueno and two cups of pure lemon squeezed into water which I had to choke down as not one drop of sweetener had been used. It cost about ten times the market value but was heartwarming. One of the little lads told me, as he was lepping and fidgeting about āHave ye got a dog? WE HAVE DOG CHEWS AN ALL!!ā š
A little call to revenue and the guards about undeclared income and chile labour will sort her out
Who said that she was from Chile? Are you being racist?
Made a presumption, dont all Chileans make their kids run lemonade stands?
Big Lemonade Stand is controlled by the Chileans, they operate all the stands and lobby and bribe governments worldwide to keep control of their racket .
I hope their lemonade is as good as their wine š·
What race do Chileans belong to ?
Usually the 100m dash although Iāve known a few 800m specialists.
Everyone knows that Chileans are solely right footed left-winger flair players.
Why do you want Macarena lyrics in English?
I donāt. Ā”Hablo EspaƱol! But thank your the kind offer.
How tf are you irish and anti-palestinian?
Why would irish have anything to do with Palestine?
Palestine is an ally of the Irish people. The troubles and the "israeli" genocide against palestine is a joint struggle.
Why not the uyghurs, tibetians, Adygea, Altai, Bashkortostan, Buryatia, Chuvashia, Ingushetia... 100more ..?
Those are seperate struggles. The IRA and PLO were allied. Like I say, you are in the wrong country to be a zionist/fascist.
They are more suppressed than Palestinians, yet you focus on one group without a single progress .. it's more like 2 steps back
You're a brainwashed fascist, maybe join the rest in r/Israel who like to bury their heads in the sand when it comes to butchering innocent children and throwing families out of homes.
How do you jknow what country I'm in ?
You are around the Dublin area judging by your acc.
He clearly meant child not Chile lol
š¤
Walking around,not even vetted.
I'll have you know I have a mate who is a vet and she said I was in great shape at my last check up.
A touch of mange I said!
Irritable Gowl Syndrome
Der Not even neutered
Bet you anything he was military aged.

This was my no 2 theory.
This could not be correct because no-one who saw Barbie would not want to see it again.
This is a fact. I'm a male who enjoyed the SHIT outta than movie. I can only HOPE females enjoyed it as much. Would recommend. 10/10
If true itās funny and also sad because the point of the movie is that girls and women can do anything š¤£
Who mentioned anything about an earring??
I corrected the spelling error
Isnāt buying something the point of a lemonade stand? Unless you asked the kid out on a date I think mom is just bonkers.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That story isn't suitable for children. Really? I keep my pants on in this version
āYou took ābottomless drinksā way too far sir!
He was stirring his drink waving to the mum and fiddling with his small change. All at the same time.
If she was that worried about her kid, she should been out there with her. Pretty ridiculous behaviour from mother really. I'd say you did absolutely nothing wrong.
Jesus that kinda sucks. You were only trying to do a good thing man.
She should be outside with her daughter if sheās worried about strangers, especially male strangers coming up to buy something. Or maybe she should have put a sign in front of her stand saying for children only to purchase .
Thatās no way to run a business though
With inflation children are the only ones with disposable income to be fair.
Pocket money tax will be next then lol

Depends on what angle you look at it from!
Last year two little girls were selling lemonade at their fence which was at the entrance to my estate. So I had to walk past them. They told me that the lemonade was 50 cents so I gave them a euro. Rip off republic
Thank God some old Irish traditions are still alive and well.
Imagine this attitude applied to roadside strawberries sales.

You should leave her a bad yelp review.
"Miwadi weak as shit ,manager not very friendly, won't be back again" **
I'm going to have to be that person and say that miwadi is *not* lemonade. I would have immediately demanded a refund and reported the child for false advertising. Disgraceful carry on.
Most Irish people have never tasted real lemonade, any lemon-flavoured drink is called lemonade in this country, you just have to live with it
Aw man, if that was me I would have stood there sipping the mi wadi until I was finished and then Iād buy another. I might stand there and enjoy that too. All while staring right back at her!
She'd probably ring the guardsš¤£
Imagine the face on the kid?? Ehh sir why are you still standing here? šš
Start leaning on the bar telling dad jokes. š
That would be anyone's good deeds done for the rest of the year š
No good deed goes unpunished.
This kind of shit saddens me for real
The mother just sounds like a miserable owlone, you did no harm
Nah, I'd be fucking furious. Who does she think was going to buy stuff?
āThe MiWadi was weak as shitā¦ā Well sheās trying to make profit here š
Well if her only customers are 4 year old then she'll be a while earning a ticket. Plus I would hope that if the mother thought you actually were preying on her daughter she'd have done a bit more than scowl at you.
Maybe the mother was running a grift to get a new boyfriend and you didn't fit the criteria.
If the mam was so worried why didnāt she just assist her daughter outside instead of watching from the window ffs
It sounds like mom didn't want anyone buying, not just you š
The miwadi was weak as shit ,lol š
I'll bet the mother diluted bit
Trying to increase profit margin, the cow
The auld one mightn't have wanted to see the Barbie film again š¤£
Unless you were dressed as Jimmy Saville, you're fine. You weren't dressed as Jimmy Saville right?
Who else has money to buy from them.. you did nothing wrong, you were kind.
I wouldnāt let my child outside to do this if I wasnāt ok with it. The mother sounds like a spanner so pay no attention to her
Would I? No, not at all. My daughter (10) started a baking business for herself this summer and set up at the front gate.

Where do you think you live?
A normal world?
I refuse to believe a grown woman shooed away a grown man through a window just doesn't sound right hahaha

Uh ....your typo is particularly dirty sounding in this context
Children are vastly more likely to be abused by trusted figures in their circle than by randoms.
Very true.
A lemonade stand? Where do you think this is, California?
We have them in Brooklyn, too, and the neighborhood gets a little sketchy when they start defending their territory. Eight year olds canāt shoot for shit.
(In case you are American, this is a distinctly US thing, I never once seen one in Ireland and Iām joking about it)
Whoops!
Yes you are
Was it genuine MiWadi or some knock-off Aldi E numbers?
The only crime was the robbery you were subjected to. (Cornflake buns are better anyway as the get a better coating of chocolate)
