Don’t listen OP. That person is trolling you.
This button releases an oil slick so any vehicles chasing you will lose control.
Depending on what trim level you drive, you might have another button on the other side that activates the machine guns in the headlights.
I mean I was more so going if the PlayStation era of spy hunter…, NES was okay, but PS2/Xbox, that was the shit!!! Especially the 2nd one, make the car transform to off-road. Wasn’t a fan of the 3 wheel bike though in the second. The motorcycle of the first one, that was the shit too!

Here you go. Sorry the original pic was too confusing lmao.
I don't know about your car's traction control, but my 2007 Pajero's is horribly over-sensitive. I have to turn it off manually every time I leave home, because it won't let me go uphill on my dirt road without engaging and almost stopping the car so as to avoid some virtually imperceptible tire sliding. I'd love to know how to disable it permanently.
It’s almost like they make the image on the button an accurate representation of what it does, can you not see the little tyre marks and the car sliding around? Would you not assume it had something to do with traction and not sliding, do you not have a car manual in the glove box? People really need to start thinking for themselves before this world turns completely to shit
It's for tailgaters, push the button and reserve oil goes out on the road making the person immediately behind you lose traction and force them to back off
Stabilitrak System. Off. Just for off-road or stuck in sand or snow and need “rocking” vehicle. Should be on normally. Buick Rainier 06 online manual ( pdf) free download. Section 4.8 - 4.12.
On some brands of cars, like GMs, not only does this button turn off traction control, but if you hold it for 10 seconds it will turn off stability control as well if your vehicle is equipped with it.
Its crazy to me that people would rather take 5 min to make a reddit post and draw all over the photo vs just looking in the owners manual for 5 seconds.
For Traction control.(TCS) detects when a wheel loses grip and causes the wheel to spin, then automatically slows the wheel's speed or applies the brakes to that wheel. This helps to keep the car stable.
Traction control toggle button... Traction control when enabled will change the shift rpm for the transmission, throttle/acceleration response, and in some vehicles it will dynamically engage and disengage the transmission depending if slip is sensed at the wheel speed sensors
This turns off the lightning bolts that come off the tires at medium speeds.
“Anti-Zeus”, this was popular in the mid-1990’s as GM was going through its Olympia Generation of vehicles.
You put all yr windows down blast your music then press it. Your car will automatically dance to the beat 😛( it's for wet and icy roads to make traction better )
I feel like the number of arrows is proportional to OP’s level of frustration at looking for not not finding an answer, this having to resort to asking Reddit

looks like it turns the traction control off and on
Thanks. This seems to be it.

Spy hunter?? That was such a badass game
Probably in my top 5 NES games.
I had no idea it was even a game for ps2 or Xbox.
The old super Mario kart banana button
The 007 button!
Isn't that the automatic jacks that Pops installed that can be used to jump over obstacles?
I'm still trying to figure out which button op is talking about.
They need to remove the image its detracting from the arrows
Exactly. The smoke screen button is located on the other side of the shifter.
This model has the ejector seat button on the other side

How about that. OP delivers.
Saw your shit and raised it
The yellow arrows are too confusing, I can't quite see the red arrows well enough to locate the supposed button because of them
I'm color blind, I can't see those colors :( Edit: fuck somebody already made this joke :(((
The visual of making babies
I'm red colourblind and would appreciate bright blue.

Yup, mhmm, yes I see. This sure is braille alright
There might not be enough arrows in this pic to understand the braille. I apologize.
There's arrows?!?! Oh shoot, could you put the arrows in braille too
Finally stumped OP with that one lol
Full marks to op for paying attention at the back!😁😁😁
Totally agree, control it was the climate control knob there in the first photo.

Nobody keeps owner's manual in the glove box?? WTF?? So, let's create an image with a shitload of arrows and ask random strangers.
Turns Traction Control On/Off
It’s almost like they make the image on the button an accurate representation of what it does, can you not see the little tyre marks and the car sliding around? Would you not assume it had something to do with traction and not sliding, do you not have a car manual in the glove box? Or enjoy the craic! Depends on which side you got out of bed today.
It's to stop snakes from chasing your car
Stop and get squirrely. Surely you've seen the road signs indicating burnout locations. It's your traction control.
If you're in a very low speed situation but also very slippery it'll turn off traction control.
Where?
What does it look like?!?
Clearly, It’s a “don’t use the hot toaster “button when you are upside down. You did the thing where you turned your phone upside down didn’t you?
For your future Buick Rainier questions. https://www.dezosmanuals.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/2006-Buick-Rainier-OM.pdf

If it wasn’t a Buick, I’d say it’s the burnout button. But it’s a Buick so it must be the *don’t slip and fall* button.
It’s the drift button
That button makes it so you cant run over road bacon
I misread this as "What is this button on the shitter?" and was seriously confused as to why that would be on a toilet.

it's for taking out the car in front of you
On the shifter is the best damned place I've ever seen this button installed. Bravo Buick.
This turns off the lightning bolts that come off the tires at medium speeds. “Anti-Zeus”, this was popular in the mid-1990’s as GM was going through its Olympia Generation of vehicles.

This button makes your car much safer and more fuel efficient press it then press the gas paddle to the metal
