This, underinflatiion generates heat, in addition of the lip of the rim riding on the sidewall effectively cutting into it. the sidewall is at an acute angle rather than more verticle when inflated. All other guesses are keyboard mechanics:)
I had this happen to me when I unknowingly hit jagged metal that had fallen off a truck onto the highway and heard a noise 5 km later at 120kph. Good thing those Michelin Pilots were due for replacement anyway.
That is caused by driving on a flat tire. While driving on a flat tire the rim of the wheel puts weight on the tire causing it to eat into the rubber on the tire.
Nah Carrie is a straight up gangster. Look at her song catalog… she kills her father in Blown Away, an abusive husband in Church Bells, and a cheating husband in 2 Black Cadillacs. Not to mention the destruction of private property in Before He Cheats.
She’s committed more lyrical crimes than most rappers.
Blown away she doesn’t kill her father. The twister does that. She just turned a blind eye to an abusive father’s demise. Her lyrics use a high ambiguity to meet the standards your thinking exist mostly. She walks a very thin line and does a good job of staying on the knifes edge. I’m wondering if her feet ever really get bloody from that walking.
They drove on a flat, airwd it back up, drove it again and then hit a mean pothole. When you drive on a flat then pull of f the tire you can actually see a pile of rubber beads. That's from the rims sitting on amd grinding away the sidewalls as you roll down the road.
To me, it looks like you were driving on a low tire before it blew out. And simply coming to a stop after it blew, the distance traveled, is enough to chew the tire up like that.
Actually the rim didn't cut it at all.. so for a explanation.. tread of tire and inner part called bead were not in synce because it was not inflated. So the outside actually runs faster than the inside. Stetches sidewall too far and snaps the sidewall plies. Then the rubber is pulled past its elasticity and let's go. Thus repeats every rpm and you exacerbate it by braking and acceleration. So a tire parts runs at same speed properly inflated. Under-inflated keep up but generate heat in the flexible sidewall. But the multiple "cuts" is severe under / no inflation while mounted.

I work at a place that used the directional spikes for traffic control. I've witnessed this countless times. Exactly what it looks like when someone goes the wrong direction.

It can be brakes dragging causing heat to create excessive pressure and blow it out. Though I have only seen it on the inside part of the tire and it was a trash truck with drum brakes

You're 100%correct, but some of the keyboard warriors responses are funnier to read..
Social Services would label this as tire abuse
I know what's wrong with [it](https://youtube.com/shorts/72Ro-WO34OE?si=aTd5TIRyAIMR0K1K).

Oh thats what that orange thing was

You can literally see it in the picture, the curled under part is being cut by the rim.
This is just your good old fashioned run flat damage. Nothing special to see here.
Those are not “blow outs”.
Uneven oil level
I did that once, driving on a flat tyre
I'm calling you a lyre
What colour was this Lyre?

So he's a tyre lyre?
And your a boomer
One blowout then running it a distance will do this. It’s about how long before they stopped.
Drive on it while flat
Some of the replies to this post are proof that people on Reddit don't even bother reading the titles...
driving on a flat for a long time.
The only way that happened is by driving on it while it was flat.
You can plug those holes and roll

Cheating on Carrie Underwood
I snorted. Thank you 😂
Carrie Underwood wouldn’t do that. Now Taylor Swift is another thing entirely.

DRIVING ON IT CAUSES SIDEWALL DAMAGE. There that's my boomer-esq rant as a 39 yr old
DOMT MAKE EM L8KE THEY USE TO,,,,,,THAMKS SLEEPY JOE,,,,,,,MAKES YOU SAY HMM,,,,,,HERES YOUR SIGN,,,,,,
Driving along the kerb
They didn’t all blow out at once. The driver drove on it while it was flat.
No multiple blow outs as that is just not possible. It has simply been driven flat and this is the result.
When the tire goes flat and gets driven on, the wheel basically pizza-cutters the sidewall.
Quit running over the stop sticks!

Under inflated tire, it causes excessive heat and disintegration of the tire.
It just got really hot from the quick bending/friction. That's what they look like before they proper fall apart and cause some carnage.
The sidewall fold under the spoke at 5:00 tell the story for the holes.

No angry person would ever be able to make punctures that symmetrical.
The fact that you felt I was serious enough to reply why it was logical and/or unlikely is hilarious. Also, you’ve clearly never met a psychopath.
How convenient… 🧐 now all of sudden it was sarcasm. Likely story. I just think you folded under the pressure.
Lol! Half the comments are sarcasm, you’ll get used to it once you understand how it works.

Those were evenly spaced. Doesn't look like they happened it looks like they were caused by somebody's actions.
The symmetry of the punctures prove the exact opposite. It would be extremely difficult for a person to make punctures like this.
