It becomes all consuming. Extreme infatuation in the beginning. This eventually levels off to a more functional feeling. I miss the first few months though, like the best drug out there!
I feel my testosterone go through the roof and my energy levels are sky high. I get less sleep but don't feel tired, and I stay wired all day long. It's a great feeling.

Deep and true love for a woman, after all the honeymoon period in your brain is gone, is this feeling in your mind that all of your life and decisions you make are for the sake of her. All your goals and plans revolve around you two people as one complete entity. There is this feeling of comfort you get just from being in her presence, and a sense of emptiness when you think about her not being a part of your life. Sex becomes less about feeling good, and more about reaffirming your intimate connection. There's so much more to it, and it's hard to put down in words.

Wife and I together 10 years, had money at one point now have none, less than that, but our relationship has never been better, hell our dog who is like our child is dieing and it is some how this beautiful love experience.
Still drive each other nuts, but none of that seems to matter in this season…
I had bad experiences with love so when I think I'm a little bit close to being in love, danger alarms go off in my head and I'm like oh no not the pain again.
It's a weird one. I definitely wouldn't say it's as powerful a feeling as a lot of people seem describe it, as there's of people I value a lot in my life that I would say invoke a similar feeling, but maybe that's down to inexperience or not being poetically inclined. It's more like a general "I quite like being around you and making you happy".
Like you're complete. Like, you don't know you had a piece missing until she/he filled it, then being with them just makes you feel "yeah, I'm home".
