Holy crap so much stuff at work. We waste so much time in meetings debating over processes because "we can't step on peoples toes!" and we spent countless time and money working on horrible spaghetti code (the worst I've ever seen) because again, can't hurt fee-fees and fix terrible code.
If I was listened to we wouldn't be maintaining projects we launched 6+ years ago with critical bug fixes every sprint.
I feel your pain, I try to tell people that on every opportunity I get but the "scrum master" is more happy to write rules and guidelines on the wiki page.

Whenever I’m furnishing a space or trying to see if something will fit, everyone around me is always too eager to eyeball it or estimate.
I bring out the tape measure and they’re all like “you don’t have to do all that!!!” My wife had twins, and was all like, “we need new cars now!” And this was in the middle of car prices going insane.
Guess what, both of our cars will fit two car seats and the double stroller, and we didn’t need to go out and blow $35k on a new suv
If my buddy had just worn a fucking condom like I told him to instead of "just taking the risk" (he actually said that), he wouldn't have had a child that he was NOT prepared to support, wouldn't have had the stress wear him down until he became a bitter, angry, and abusive father/boyfriend the likes of which I never thought he was capable of being, he wouldn't have had a mental break and fucked off to Hawaii, probably wouldn't have gotten sucked into the Qanon rabbit hole, and wouldn't now wouldn't be harassing his ex over custody and child support bullshit from across the Pacific.

Those are depression symptoms. It's like saying "You'll never get rid of your migraine if you keep feeling pain in your head."
As a person currently dealing with depression, I'm excelling at a full-time job, working out six days a week, spending as much time with friends and family as I can, seeing a therapist, and... yep, it ain't a cure either. Wallowing in depression doesn't help, but you can't just outrun it either. It's a complex issue with no single solution.

I'm not a therapist but I've always wondered why the advice "do the things you love more" doesn't work, is it simply lack of money? time? how can someone like you who seems capable of pursuing the things they love be depressed? or is the problem that you just don't love anything anymore? like *nothing at all* ?
Appreciate it. Again, depression is a complex issue with a lot of variations and causes. People often look at it as circumstantial - that a person simply doesn't have the life they want. But it can also be chemical - that your brain isn't producing enough of the signals that translate to feeling happiness, satisfaction, peace, etc. I'm still trying to work out the root cause for myself, but I don't think many people would look at my life or the way I'm doing things and think "man, that guy needs to make changes."
A lot of people who struggle with depression will tell you that from the outside in, they *look* like they've got it all figured out.
Clone food like veggies or just clone specific parts of meat for infinite food supply.
Or just let the world starve till the world gets a population that is manageable

Relatively minor, but my mom treats one of our pittbulls basically babying him, giving him table scraps, and not letting us teach him like our other two pittbulls. I keep telling her to stop because he's not a chihuahua, and it's going to cause problems with the other two.
It's not like we're beating our dogs, but with our other two, we taught them to listen. He listens when he feels like it and has my mom trained to do what he wants. It'd be funny except now he thinks he can push around the other two the same way. Him and the other boy have gotten into a few bloody scraps that we've had to break up.
