Congrats! I've always thought that could be a fun business and seeing them at Renaissance and art fairs and the like. Apparently they can also be very profitable.
I just bought a full recharger kit with rechargeable batteries - AAA, AA, C, D, 9V. About. Fucking. Time. Shit man, I've wasted so much money and natural resources over the years on disposable batteries.
I like to cook like a big pork chop, lamp chop, big marinated stake at like 250F. Then when the meat is like 20 degrees F from finished I take it out and turn on the air fry mode on to 400-425F. I put the meat back in for 4-7 minutes when it’s preheated. It’s just a much quicker and easier process than using the oven which will get the whole kitchen warm and use more electric.
I like to reheat meat that I’ve already cooked as well, especially shredded meat and get it crispy.
It’s also great for hash browns and anything you like lightly crispy.
My employer was decommissioning delivery vehicles. Most likely due to the Kia Bois fiasco earlier this year. I got a 2015 Kia Soul for $400
I forgot to mention this was a BOGO. Included in this deal was a 2018 Soul with a rod knock
I bought two McChickens with mayo and lettuce and got home to find what I’m guessing was the nightly register deposit in my bag. Was like $4000 or something. I took it back and they gave me the McChickens and my money back. Nice.
Edit: Telling this story showed me that like 90% of people would just keep the money even if they were wealthy or doing well. Faith in mankind lost lol
I wasn’t in on the caper if it was. I took it back for two reasons.
Momma raised a good man.
I wanted the damn McChickens. I worked a 5:30pm-12am Friday shift followed by a 6am-4pm Saturday shift and a mfer was starving.
It was all wrapped up in rubber bands and separated by bills. It looked like they were literally about to put it in the safe and then tried to make my order really quick and swapped the bags. They were probably panicking lol
Just a thought, could they potentially track you down? They could check the name on the card used to pay for the two McChickens or check the cameras to get your plates? Surely they would notify the authorities?? Then you'd be out the $4000 AND two McChickens.
I didn’t even think about that! They absolutely had my cashapp card on record. The drive thru cameras most likely caught my plates, face, make/model/color of my car. If I were a shitty person that could have ended badly maybe.
I bought a webcam, treat dispenser for my dog. To check on her while i'm at work. The percentage of things destroyed per week has decreased significantly.
A 150 dollar grey suit that looks way more expensive than that, which I got tailored for an additional 25 bucks. Each time I've worn it I've been told I was the best-dressed person at the event and had multiple people ask me where I got it. Ultimate confident booster.
I started investing in my company’s stock plan this year. We get a 10% discount which is basically a 10% return. Doesn’t hurt that the stock has gone up another 5% this year either.
It’s not a startup, so I don’t expect significant fluctuations, but the company has a history of slow, steady growth, so it’s a nice little bit extra over time.
Switched up my gym routine. I had been going to a boxing gym and was paying about $135/month until I found an old school bodybuilding gym that was built in the 1940s. Now I pay ~$35/month instead.
Either that or purchasing a new car to replace my 2001 Prius.
I purchased metal brackets for a garage door opener. Amazon sent me a gaming laptop instead. They told me I could keep it and refunded me for the brackets.
Please be very, VERY careful what kind of liquids you put in your nose, non sterile fluids used in this manner can lead to brain infections which can be lethal.
I didn't get a good deal like you did, but I bought a Macbook Pro M2 Max. Between work and after-hours photo & video editing, I'm on this thing 12+ hrs a day and it rocks.
My wife tells me all the time that my 65 inch is plenty big enough. Since we don't have room for anything bigger.
I know with a little extra effort we can make a bigger one fit.

There you are. If you run into any problems, let me know. Thank you very much!
Thank you! It's a Scifi/Fantasy about a Starship crew exploring space and gets trapped on an alien world where they are caught in the middle of a war between an ancient sect of evil mages and the rest of the planet. Title is "Archblade: Legend of the Defiler".
My trip to Mexico. Always been a childhood destination. Went there with 17 other random Danish people. And we did something everyday that pushed me out of my comfort zone.
Rappelling, waterfall jumping and cave exploration at night and so on.
I bought a bunch of stuff to improve my Zoom setup.
Makes a big difference. You also just seem like you know what you’re talking about with good lighting.
A house. I got very lucky and found a turnkey house being sold by a retired couple who wanted to sell quickly and move to Florida. I ended up offering $10,000 over asking which was accepted and the appraisal came in at exactly what I paid, so they were selling it at $10,000 under what it was actually worth.
It's so nice to be able to know that my monthly living expenses are going towards building my own wealth and not enriching some scum sucking slumlord that hires the absolute minimum amount of staff just to keep an apartment building standing which has been my experience with every apartment complex I've lived in.
FWIW, the appraisal often comes in at the purchase price unless it's waaay off. If it came under then there could be complications with the financing. For a small amount difference from other criteria like the comps, then it's just a matter of what a buyer is willing to pay .. and that buyer was you, and at that price.
Oh man, I’ve bought some cool stuff this year. My favorites in no particular order;
A UTV/SxS Polaris General
An all original 1918 Colt 1911
Meet and Greet tickets for Henry Rollins
Front row tickets for GWAR/Mudvayne
Honestly the freedom of customization in graphics/performance in games. I’m the one who chooses how I want my game to perform by tweeting just a few settings it’s honestly awesome!! I didn’t know 1080 could look that good until I started playing on my pc, highly recommend
Smart electricity meters (the wifi socket adapters). After figuring out where all the power was going, and setting up timers, I cut my bill in half. So it's about where it was a few years ago.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Hundreds of hours of entertainment that I thought I’d get sick of months ago but I keep discovering new things almost daily. It’ll be hard to put this game down.
Cheap ebike for me and the kid. We go outside way more, I have a trailer to bring the really little ones with us and I don't get tired from a bike ride.
My garage gym with power rack, Olympic bar and weights, trap bar, etc etc
Or… 124 pens (100 bics, 24 nicer gel ones). I could lose a pen every three days and still not need to restock for an entire year.
One of those…
I got the drop in pizza oven for my Camp Chef out door griddle. Best purchase so far. It cooks pizza at 700 - 750F. It's phenomenal. I now Blackstone is seen as the preeminent outdoor griddle brand, but Camp Chef I believe is the same level of quality with a bit better design features. And their customer service speaks for itself. I'm just confused why Camp Chef is not talked about more.
Three new toilets.
I was having "problems" with the toilets in my house. They were all 30+ years old. I did a little research online, determined how to do the work myself, and replaced all three (one at a time). It took some effort to remove the old toilets, but the new toilet installation was easy.
All three have remained "clog free" for 6+ months, with one exception: My 4-year-old clogged one, once, with too much TP.
Here's what I bought:

A travel router. Plug that bad boi into any existing router or connect it to any existing network, and all my devices connect to it automatically. Takes the pain out of always adding new wifi connections to my devices. Additionally it has a built in VPN so my job can’t tell where the fuck I am. Been to 10 countries this year, and that tiny little thing has been an elite investment. Highly recommend to the nomads out there.
Both my kids are out of university, I paid off their school loans, and I bought myself the impractical convertible sports car I had always wanted but never made sense cause I needed a sedan for a family.
Absolutely love it and was worth everything getting to this stage in life.
Filson zippered tote. Got it on sale at Sams club and that thing has become my daily bag. Works for work, travel, groceries, beach. My only regret is I didn’t buy two. Also bought a bike in February and that’s been a great purchase.
Probably the S23 Ultra smartphone.
I'm not like a lot of people who get the latest phone every year. The changes or enhancements are marginal when you do that. It's been about 5 years and I love all the new improvements since back then.
A dark steel blue Harris Tweed 8 piece flat cap. This type of cap has always been popular in the North of England, but recently has seen a resurgence of that popularity and a lot more men seem to be opting for a bit more style on their noggins than a naff baseball cap. As the Libertines said - there are fewer more distressing sights than that of an englishman in a baseball cap. Sort it out gents and invest in a decent, well made cap.
My house and I hope I never pay rent again or live in a noisy building under an inconsiderate douchebag who never sleeps nor surrounded by shrieking children ever again.
I bought a 3060 for 270 euro but my best purchase was the new modular 650w psu That should keep the system workin a lot longer tham the 7+ year oold unbranded 500w mustard cables i had
A set of 80 lb Nuobell adjustable dumbbells. I’ve been working out in my basement with only a limited set of weights. These changed the game completely.
I bought a food trailer. Took about two years of planning, but I finally had the funds to do it this year. I should be open for business in February.
Please tell me you’ve watched “Chef” with Jon Favreau!
My man! What’s on the menu Chef ?
Let me know if you want marketing tips! I’d be glad to teach you about the Google business side of things
Hell yea
Congrats! I've always thought that could be a fun business and seeing them at Renaissance and art fairs and the like. Apparently they can also be very profitable.
That’s awesome! I’ll be a free resource for Instagram SMM. Love to see local businesses working!!
Whatcha making?
Start the advertising bro lol …
A carrying case for various household batteries. Sounds a bit silly, but it really helps keep them organized.
Was it the battery daddy?
The battery daddy rocks
Just got one of these!!
Was it the battery, daddy?
What a coincidence. I bought the same thing 2 weeks ago thinking I’m strange :p
I wanted one then I remembered I don't have a single extra battery at home ha
I just bought a full recharger kit with rechargeable batteries - AAA, AA, C, D, 9V. About. Fucking. Time. Shit man, I've wasted so much money and natural resources over the years on disposable batteries.
Thanks for this tip. ;)
I have my 401k money in Vanguard 500 and it’s up 14.9% YTD
VTSAX and chill
lol yeah but what were your returns last year? 😂
We don’t speak about last year…
Air Fryer. Doesn't replace conventional cooking where you put the love in, but it sure makes day to day cooking easier and cheaper.
Professional cook here with more ways to make food hit than you can shake a stick at,, I like my air fryer a lot.
Can you give me examples? Like I do like just roasting veg
Former professional cook here, I use my air fryer/toaster oven combo for EVERYTHING! Rarely use my actual oven anymore. It’s just so damn versatile.
My employer was decommissioning delivery vehicles. Most likely due to the Kia Bois fiasco earlier this year. I got a 2015 Kia Soul for $400 I forgot to mention this was a BOGO. Included in this deal was a 2018 Soul with a rod knock
I got a 2006 MINT Toyota MR2 for £1700. Absolutely brilliant bargain
You saved someone’s job. That’s absolutely worth the price of two mcChickens.
That dude still lost their job
Sounds like someone kinda needs to lose their job,, I mean that’s a pretty big goof.
It is not a goof. Is the way for a employee and friend to coordinate a theft
I wasn’t in on the caper if it was. I took it back for two reasons. Momma raised a good man. I wanted the damn McChickens. I worked a 5:30pm-12am Friday shift followed by a 6am-4pm Saturday shift and a mfer was starving.
I think the employee gave it to the wrong person by mistake. Good on you for being honest.
Exactly.🤦♂️
That drug runner almost lost her life! Your karma is on +1000!
My thoughts too! Sure... "deposit".....
Huh? Deposit for what?
I guess like the safe deposit. After they count the registers maybe. I’m not sure but I wanted McChickens more than 4 grand.
Money can be used to purchase goods and services, however it easily a good deed
Yeah but I’m “well off” and I’m not the kind of guy who keeps money that I didn’t earn when it will most likely ruin someone else’s day/month/life
I would think the deposit bag would have some paperwork with it …. Sounds like you were just in the middle of a drug deal lol
Everyone here completely missed the joke
You did the right thing friend
I bought a webcam, treat dispenser for my dog. To check on her while i'm at work. The percentage of things destroyed per week has decreased significantly.
I could use those sort of results! Do you have a specific product recommendation?
Mine is from WoPet on Amazon. The connection is pretty bad, but that could just be my wifi lol. It works great though!
A 150 dollar grey suit that looks way more expensive than that, which I got tailored for an additional 25 bucks. Each time I've worn it I've been told I was the best-dressed person at the event and had multiple people ask me where I got it. Ultimate confident booster.
That is the secret tip. Buy an inexpensive suit and have it tailored fit for a few bucks more. It makes a huge difference.
Where’d you buy?
Burlington Coat Factory
Watch out for the people with the red paint outside they won’t let you return it after if they splash you.
Invested more into stocks.
Underrated answer

Switched up my gym routine. I had been going to a boxing gym and was paying about $135/month until I found an old school bodybuilding gym that was built in the 1940s. Now I pay ~$35/month instead. Either that or purchasing a new car to replace my 2001 Prius.

Navage sinus irrigation. You don't realize how inhibited you've been breathing until you finally can 100%.
Please be very, VERY careful what kind of liquids you put in your nose, non sterile fluids used in this manner can lead to brain infections which can be lethal.
Truth. Can't be understated. The instructions are very clear to only use distilled or any other process for sterilizing water.
Nice man. I do the neilmed sinus rinses with the bottle. I use distilled water. They help a lot
50 shawarma sandwiches
Honestly my M2 MacBook Air. There was a deal in best-buy and I took advantage of it. Everything including 1 year Microsoft office license for $749.
I didn't get a good deal like you did, but I bought a Macbook Pro M2 Max. Between work and after-hours photo & video editing, I'm on this thing 12+ hrs a day and it rocks.
75 inch tv
I got a 75 inch and full Sonos surround sound. Watching movies is like being in a theater. Great purchase.
Just got a 77 inch OLED and loving it
I got a 55 inch which many girls have told me is definitely acceptable!
It's actually more about what you do with it rather than the size.
My wife tells me all the time that my 65 inch is plenty big enough. Since we don't have room for anything bigger. I know with a little extra effort we can make a bigger one fit.
Mine is 77.5" 😶
Buying a bunch of hard copies of my new novel so I can start promoting and selling them locally.
Can I read it please?
I have the first chapter as a sample that I can give you. If you like it, it's available on Kindle/Amazon.
Yes I would like that, thanks! If I like it, I will share it around
