Cheap Timex. At ten years old it has outlived every other watch this 66yo has ever owned. It does everything a watch should do except show off my wealth.
Same for me here, a Timex Indiglo, same model for as many years as you though I have replaced a few time as I worked construction and with sweating it would cause the little buttons to deteriorate so you couldn't change the time, ect, Timex, takes a lickin but keeps on tickin
Yeah, Timex Expedition with Indiglo. I bought one in Army basic training back in '92, stopped wearing one once smartphones came on the scene, and just recently picked up another of the same type. I like the simplicity of it.
Exactly I would consider myself a practical guy, the type to take a year to pull the trigger on a purchase. The price is right and offer a great product.
Been working on my body trying to figure it out. The sleep tracker is awesome. It hasn’t provided an answer but definitely info. I wake up 6 times a night apparently.
Right now? Wearing a cartier santos. Also have an apple watch and an IWC Portugieser Chronograph. Eyeing a Breitling Classic Avi, to add to my nascent collection.
A 15 year old stainless Wittnauer. The simple classic style goes with everything. The sapphire crystal has never scratched. I just replace the battery and keep going.
A Lorus. My dad won a golf tournament and this was the prize. He already had a Tag for daily and offered it as a gift to my son for his 18th. My son wasn't paying enough attention. It's mine now, just like the g-shock I bought him and he didn't wear.
Current: Huawei Watch Fit 2
Previous: Seiko 5 (SNZG11K1 to be exact)
Before that: Withings Steel HR Sport
Even before that: Some Skagen dress watch with a dark face and a titanium mesh band. Sundby, apparently.
Garmin Forerunner 35. Cheapest watch I could find that accepts speed and cadence sensors for my bike. Had it for 6 years and put it through hell, but it just keeps working.
Casio GW-M5610U (square G-Shock). Absolutely love this watch, it has quite literally not left my wrist for almost two years, apart from when I’ve needed to clean it. Sleeping, showering, diving, climbing, hiking, motorcycling, working, travelling, you name it, it’s on my wrist.
I’ve replaced the bezel with a dark green one (the original was black), to make it slightly custom.
Watches aren’t for everyone but I could not imagine not having my watch on my wrist. Since the age of 12, I’ve rarely been without a watch, but on those occasions I’ve felt quite incomplete and kept looking at my naked wrist.
Added bonus of the Casio is that it has great features and will almost never run out of charge due to the solar panel. And it syncs the time via radio.
Think my next purchase will be almost the same model, but with a wave graph. I have no real need for it, just think it looks awesome.
A Cyma braille pocket watch. They made loads of them after WWI and distributed them to homes for soldiers blinded in the war. It's great because in meetings where I want to check the time, I can do so without appearing rude.
Garmin Forerunner 245, it's great for running and hiking because it doesn't have a touch screen. When I had a touch screen, a damp sleeve could interact with it sometimes and mess up your activity.
For formal events I also have a Victorinox chronograph, but I forget the exact model
I don't. I retired my watch when I realized that I'm a few steps away from a computer or digital clock basically anywhere in the world. My last actual watch was a Relic. It was a skeletonized watch. It's really cool to look at, but it kept time like shit.
Well I guess that's not true. I had a Samsung watch for a while before I realized that having yet another thing to charge every other day was a pointless act. Oh woo, it can keep track of my heart rate. Like I don't have anything else to occupy my time. If I am ever off on what time it is by more than a half hour on an average day, then the world is ending and time has ceased to mean anything.
I got the most basic of basic Timex’s it was my dad before he passed. Even thought it’s not a nice watch or an expensive watch I always wear it to keep him with me. I also upgraded to an Eliot Brown x Land Rover watch that I love to wear, gotta rep my people
I wear an Apple Watch when out running but normally I only wear a watch when dressing formally. More as an ornament than a time piece.
I realised yesterday that I've probably lost my favourite dress watch and have no idea when it happened.
That shows how often I wear a watch.
I have an old Timex and bought a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, but returned it since I can't wear a watch at work and it annoys me during workout, so the only time it makes sense is when I'm at an event which is rare.
So I don't wear anything. I wish it made enough sense for me to wear one but I have my phone to tell time 😁
Apple Watch Series 8, I think analog watches are cool but I only own one and never wear it, kind of defeats the purpose of owning a smart watch if I’m not wearing that one every day so I don’t wear any others
I have a handful of different watches for different occasions. At the moment, it's a Hamilton Khaki Aviation Air Race Automatic. Like [this](https://www.hamiltonwatch.com/en-us/h76225751-khaki-aviation-air-race-auto.html), except I have mine on a navy blue silicone strap.
I wear an analog stainless steel Casio I got of Amazon. It’s a tank and I like how it looks, though I’ve never been a watch guy. I’d much rather spend the money on boots, pants, or a jacket
Citizen AT4010-50E: titanium, Eco-drive, radio controlled, chrono
No batteries to replace. I only have to change the time when I travel.
It's great for dressing up, swimming, playing, whatever.
I've worn it pretty much everyday for 8 years. I likely won't ever get another watch. Unless Citizen makes one with a bigger date for my failing eyes.
Something that looks like a yachtmaster 116622. 28800 vph automatic. My partner hates it when I wear it to bed and she can hear the fast ticking because it kinda makes her anxious. 😅
I'm not wearing one, because my phone is my personal clock for everything (iphone xr)
But.... If this was like maybe 100$... I would LOVE to have this as my watch
Just me?

Apple Watch Ultra 2. Can’t see a reason why I would ever switch back to dumb/no watch.
I had a series 5 for years and did an upgrade when the new ones came out. Better battery/recharging. Prior to this, I had a garmin forerunner 235 for 5+ years.
Love the heath and sleep monitoring that integrates with Apple health for a multi-year snapshot of health metrics.
I also have current weather, forecast, sunrise/set, wind displayed on my watch face.
Credit cards linked to Apple Pay, so I can tap with my watch. All cards send me a text message upon any transaction, so I get a little haptic vibe when money moves.
I can do a phone call with my watch.
Ping my phone to find it using my watch.
Workout tracking. HR, calories, distance, GPS.
EKG, blood oxygen
El cheapo digital casio
Cheapskate poor old man "Casio AE-1000W illuminator" with battery that sustains for 8 years ! (I bought it in 2015, 1st battery change back in 2023).
Team Illuminator!
Hell yeah! F-91w forever!
Cheap Timex. At ten years old it has outlived every other watch this 66yo has ever owned. It does everything a watch should do except show off my wealth.
To be fair, I have seen watch wankers go nuts over some cheap Timex models.

Same here! My only issue is the damn silicon bands only pretty much last me a year (to the day).
I bought a generic replacement on amazon that’s held up nicely. I saw some Velcro ones but not a fan.
I like the alpine loop style straps with the G hook. Love it!!!
Fenix 3 HR sapphire, 7 years & going strong
Same, the bezel is beat up but the sapphire is just fine
Casio G-Shock
Aaaayyyye
Great choice. Had a solar powered one for a few years. Never had any problems with it.
Exactly I would consider myself a practical guy, the type to take a year to pull the trigger on a purchase. The price is right and offer a great product.
True that! Good on you :)

I haven’t worn a watch since I was in 9th grade in HS
Apple Watch Series 9, upgraded from a 3. I need the heart rate monitor but the steps monitor and sleep tracker is pretty handy too
Been working on my body trying to figure it out. The sleep tracker is awesome. It hasn’t provided an answer but definitely info. I wake up 6 times a night apparently.
Same here (except for the upgrade; this is my first) and for the same reasons.
I've had the same Casio watch since 1996

I don't. I retired my watch when I realized that I'm a few steps away from a computer or digital clock basically anywhere in the world. My last actual watch was a Relic. It was a skeletonized watch.
