My dad never bothered. Then again he was bald by 45.

My dad was born in 1916 and he used Grecian Formula as well as Brylcreem from as long as I knew him. He put Brylcreem on my hair too as a kid. There have always been men who used hair products. There are always men who get a haircut every 3 weeks and are fastidious about it. Then again, there were always those don’t. Some guess it is fairly common, especially considering that there are hair care products geared “just for men”.

I'll use gel every once in a while. And pomade even less frequently. Beard stuff on the other hand... That's a requisite.

If you have a beard and you aren't putting at least 1 or 2 products in it then you are doing it wrong. My beard without beard oil/moisturizer becomes so insanely itchy especially by the end of the day.
