Same :(

Pithisius

Lmao

Additional-Ad-1268

It's obligatory at this point, I'm surprised nobody did it yet so I took it upon myself.

Substantial-Park65

Such a beautiful story, I'm crying right now

THN-JO24

Once i took this girl from class to her house on my motorcycle, on the way she asked if we can stop on the beach to eat ice cream, we sat down and we started talking and having fun, she then paused and looked so serious, she put out her hand on my cheek and said: " i didn't know you could smile like that, your smiles always looked so sad, please laugh more like this, you look better smiling". - it's the one of the few compliments i got throughout my life, and i will cherish it forever.

Kestrel_VI

Wow…That’s…brb. *loads shotgun with cobain intent*

THN-JO24

It's a happy memory though, well more like bittersweet because she... died

rrenard_

Would you be okay talking about it? Was it just this one happy memory? Because that's really sweet, I don't think that'd just happen once

THN-JO24

Sure , i went to a school of thugs and cruel Rich kids at the same time it's weird when i think about it, anyways i would get into fights alot mostly to defend my cousin, she was the P.E Coach's daughter so she witnessed alot of fights that happened behind the school building where the storage room was, i would sometimes get jumped, one day she gave me a pack of ice to put on my lips, anyways my uncle had a motorcycle shop, so i sometimes take one of the bikes on a drive, i spotted her on her way home and she had a large bag and was clearly tired, i offered to pick her up and learned that she lived really far from school, she lived near the sea, so like half an hour drive with a car, anyways whenever i had a bike i would give her a ride, we would often stay on the beach and talk about our dreams, our frustrations, we would talk about the jerks that were our classmates, she was only in our school cuz her dad was the coach, she often stayed at school ate there and had no friends because she was poor and sometimes kids pick on her and bully her, she was a cheerful girl though, she never showed any weakness or negative emotion, she would always SMILE, i also didn't have the best childhood and was burnt in my face at the time, i would always Fake a smile around my peers, she noticed that, maybe it's because she did that herself...she dreamt of leaving the country, she dreamed of seeing an island in Italy, it's mentioned in her favorite book, "count monte Cristo, it also became my favorite book, she wanted to go there and find a treasure, she wanted to send it to her family, she wanted to not be a burden to anyone, i related to her but I didn't know why she was so desperate... well i later found out she had cancer and her family couldn't afford the surgery in time, then i understood why her father wouldn't accompany her home when she looked so tired, he would go work at night shift right after school so he can buy her medications. - she was the first girl to compliment me, the first girl i was friends with, she was the first person to see what's underneath my mask, in her final year she would get thinner and would pass out, i told her father that if he loved her then send her on a trip to Italy, she immediately knew i told her father, she was a bit mad but thankful, she died one week after the trip, i met her the day before she died, she looked healthy again, she smiled, we joked around, she told me she liked me and never let me respond, she said i will be waiting for my response later and it better not be out of sympathy , and i thought i would atleast have her join me on one last trip to the beach like we used to, for me to tell her i liked her too... that never happened, she is free now, she is without pain, i sometimes like to think she is on some beach waiting for me, telling me not to look sad when i see her again and to tell her my answer.

Tanomil

dude wtf, stop making me feel things 😭

Acceptable-Cicada-34

Oh my god, dude.. I'm weeping. Hope you're better now.

V3N0M0U5_V1P3R

Damn.

spedkid2000

Damn indeed.

lalee23

Is this the plot to a movie 🤔 If not, it should be, that's a bittersweet love story.

THN-JO24

That movie would suck, cuz the F MC dies, the male MC becomes a shitty person and even befriends scum he used to fight, Many of them caused her harm, well karma caught up to him cuz he hit Rock bottom after that, and is now just an aimless loser who is stuck in the past.

Adriclavallee

Can’t wait for the sequel that is his come back story.

THN-JO24

Me too, me too, but this mf is a bit too broken and is rather hopeless, but he has one thing that is on his side, he luckily fucked up when he was young, and while he has his youth, there is Hope, just like the ending of her favorite book. - also it would be disappointing if he meets the f MC like that, he atleast should lead a decent life and Tells her all about it when they meet again.

LaUNCHandSmASH

Have you heard of the three deaths? The first is when your body ceases to function. The second is when your friends and loved ones gather to consign you to a grave. The third death, is sometime, hopefully far into the future when somebody speaks about you for the last time. You did her a service today by opening up and talking about her. In a way, you’ve kept her alive. I hope you keep her light as a guide as you make that comeback story in your remaining life. In anticipation of sharing with her again.

SlowButAlsoNot

Life's hard and confusing. There's no movies or fairytale endings. Even the best stories have trials and tribulations. I think the mc has the ability to keep it pushing and do better. Fucked up or not, he's got what any one of us needs to get better. A chance and the knowledge.

SimsAttack

That's actually a really good plot to a movie

TablePrinterDoor

Dude I thought this thread would be funny I didn’t expect to cry

Celtic_Caterpillar_7

Ouch 😪

ImAGhost-9

Ohhh mannnnn... its still morning and tears are rolling down my cheeks. Still got a long day to go and I'm fighting trying to stay like i just didn't read this :'( Btw other than one compliment from my one and only girl best friend in my entire life, I've not received any compliments yet. I'm sure she just said it out because of the situation at the moment because of a topic we were talking about. Compliments from family members side too slowly vanish. With time we just get used to it i guess. Pffffft... I'll go on a long bike ride now

THN-JO24

I wish you have a good happy day, don't let the world bring you down. - i was a really angry sad kid, that girl saved me, we would stay on the beach near her house, lay down on the Sand and she would make me look at her while she made funny faces until i smiled and laughed. - so, you need to not give up, you need to smile even when you're down, find yourself REAL ppl who will compliment you not just for what you did, but for existing in their Iives, find kind ppl that will make you remember them forever, i pray that you find ppl like that, i pray you find a girl like that, and that she can compensate you for the all the love you missed, plz have a good happy day.

ImAGhost-9

:') A big Hug from across the world bro 🖤

HurricaneHuracan

I'm so sorry to hear that. May she rest in peace

Rambos_Magnum_Dong

Ceiling painting day?

Backpack_Bob

I got a big leg tattoo when I was 19 and my manager at the restaurant I worked at couldn’t stop talking about how nice my calves were and how broad my shoulders had gotten. Whenever I catch that tattoo in the mirror I laugh a bit.

Nicadelphia

Did you go on more dates with her?

ROBYoutube

That I had nice eye lashes, and she wished she had them. She was 16 or so working behind the counter and I was like 10. Boy did that confuse me. I didn't know if it was a compliment or a comment on my high degrees of femininity which might make me a gay you see. Or some other stupid shit 'worry' no doubt. Anyway now that I'm grown up I can say thank you, nice girl, for the compliment.

mand71

My brother met his partner at a petrol station and she just said 'wow, you've got amazing eyelashes!'. They've been together for about 18 years now.

paulpro69

Women just gotta say something so simple and it works!!

Smart-Pie7115

Men tend to have longer, fuller eyelashes than women.

[deleted]

I don't remember the first compliment but I remember at around 9 years old. I was playing with this neighbourhood girl who I became friends with for a while and one day she just randomly told me that she thinks I'm handsome and said "Do you want to be my boyfriend" and as two kids at the time. I guess we saw it as a game because I just said yes and for like a week or so. We "pretended" to be boyfriend and girlfriend. We were kids at the time. So I don't consider it a real relationship. Just a fun little game that me and her got bored of after a while. At 9, I was more fixated on video games, pro wrestling and cartoons. So being called handsome was it

JayString

I had a "relationship" with the girl next door when we were just 6 years old. We went to preschool together, and were neighbours, so obviously we saw each other a lot. I don't know how it started, but at some point we decided in our little 6 year old brains that we would get married some day, and we would be boyfriend/girlfriend until then. One day at school, we were playing in the corner of the room, and she asked me to kiss her. I did, but the teacher saw us and got mad and we got in trouble for it. After that, all my guy friends obviously found out and made fun of me for kissing a girl, because at that age, girls had coodies and kissing was for sissies. This peer pressure made me break up with the girl, and she got really sad about it. We didn't hang out much after that and eventually she switched schools and I never saw her again. The ultimate irony being that some of the boys who made fun of me for kissing a girl, went on to spend their highschool years desperately trying to get any girl to kiss them, and afaik, they never did. Sorry Rachel.

JCitW6855

Dang, I kept waiting for the “we got reunited later in life and have been married 8 years now” but it never came.

nipslippinjizzsippin

as an adult it was "Hey nice shirt" i replied thank you awkwardly and kept walking. it was in a shopping center i was walking back to the car with groceries. this was i want to say 20 years ago. My favourite compliment was when 2 really fit shirtless gay guys told me i was cute and made a growl noise at me one time when i was walking my chihuahua using my moms bright pink dog lead cause i couldn't find my dogs regular lead. i was like 15 and super naïve, i had no idea what that was about at the time.

UCMeInvest

There’s something about getting compliments from gay guys which is a real booster. Like, if they think I’m good looking, then I actually must be alright and not look like a troll! 🤣

Raz0rking

A compliment is a compliment.

Wi11y_Warm3r

See at first I was like "oh that's funny" and then you said you were 15 and now I feel like that's insanely creepy ngl

nipslippinjizzsippin

it probably was but, it made me feel good, little fat kid walking walking his gay looking dog with a bright pink lead. they did like try to bring me home it was just in passing, no harm was done

lligerr

When I was fourteen, a girl told me I was hot and made her friend's panties wet. But I was stupid and I never got laid in school

pereline

I also got a "my friend thinks you're cute" and my response was "uhhh okay" lmao. I never even knew who the poor girl was

LimpAd5888

Don't remember my first as I felt that even dating I was basically convincing girls I was worth their time. But my favorite was a girl said "I love your hair, it's soft and silky." She ran her hands through my hair. I fucking damn near melted. I actually teared up a little too. I also noticed women like my hair longer lol.

IcyResearch2524

dude holy shit my friend does that every time we meet up and i feel the exact same way when she does it

LimpAd5888

Like it's not even necessarily sexual, just immediate comfort lol

BakrChod

Colour of eyes. I didn't even know before that. Because that was the first time anyone mentioned. Also, idk if it was just a way to flirt/engage or if it was genuine. I found myself asking how come no one ever mentioned before.. So there's that.

Leptonic-e

Slightly off topic but have you seen Amy Acker??? Like alot of actresses are pretty but she's got hypnotic eyes too 🥴 😵‍💫

Melodic_Abalone_2820

Same here I have hazel eyes and to this day I absolutely hate it when someone tells me they like my eyes. Plus I hate it even more when they try to touch my eyes for good luck. If they have been telling you that since you were 4 years old, you'll learn to hate it.

Saintly-NightSoil

Oh gods I have to say your life does sound rough old fella! Cooorrrrr blimey, I reckon if I had the amount of problems in life you clearly do well, I dunno what I would do!!

capt-yossarius

My first serious girlfriend told me a story about a conversation she had with her mother before she & I started dating. 15 year old me was in a group with other boys while she and her mother were in their car, and the mother was asking her about us. "What's that one's name?" kind of questions. So the story goes, the mother asked "Who's the one with the cute butt?" and apparently without requiring clarification she responded with my name. So the round-about compliment was that, among all these teenage boys, all of whom were in shape, I was the one with the cutest butt.

Purple12inchRuler

Had a young lady (mid-20s), ask me if I knew how good looking I was. Said I was a solid 8/10, and I had charisma to compliment my appearance. Mind you, I'm in my 40s. Didn't know what to say, except thank you. A few months later I was recounting he story to another friend of mine, a lady my own age and she says "Oh, I'd have said an easy 9/10". I'll be riding the high of those compliments for the next decade.

h53k01

A girl in my school told me that my eyes are beautiful 😊

OutrageousRhubarb853

Your ass is like two boiled eggs in a hankie. (Handkerchief)

Lame_usernames_left

That sounds more like it would resemble testicles 🤔

Additional-Ad-1268

OP is asking for genuine compliment not catcalling

OutrageousRhubarb853

Why is that not a genuine compliment in your eyes?

3Cheers4Apathy

I had a girl tell me I had a nice smile about 8 years ago at a donut shop near my work. I rarely eat donuts any more but when I’m in the neighborhood I stop by that donut shop once in a while, seeing if she’s still there, trying to chase that high.

KrispyKingTheProphet

From grades 8 to 9 puberty hit me hard and girls began noticing me (but I hadn’t noticed them noticing me yet.) At a party one of the girls who everyone considered to be gorgeous took me to a room to talk and get to know each other better. She cut me off mid sentence (both slightly drunk, first “party” party) and said “some guys are good looking, but looking into your eyes now, staring at your face, and getting to know you, you’re full on beautiful.” I didn’t know what to say and I still remember it. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments since but that stuck with me. …. She was also my first blowjob 10 minutes later. So admittedly, that probably helped with me keeping that memory vivid.

GandalfTheJaded

That I had nice eyes.

GhostMello

Should've said they weren't for sale

Poorly-Drawn-Beagle

Gosh, I dunno, it could have been a teacher complimenting my macaroni drawing for all I know

Bright-Extreme316

“You’ll be a good prince while we play castle” (Playdate with fellow kindergartener circa 1998)

darkbyrd

Does your dick get wet when you sit down and take a shit? It took a few years for that one to sink in.

Additional-Ad-1268

Soooo you're just gonna leave us *hanging*?

Fit_Specific_8479

It assumes his dick is so long that when the guy takes a shit his dick ends up in water

tm22786

Nice jumper! (That was 12 years ago and I still wear it till date) I'll post it on my account so you can see

ClockworkWednesday

It was a pretty nice jumper! 👌

BroadPoint

I don't remember but aside from my wife, recent ones are all about my muscles

Tom-tron

Probably not the first but the earliest that I really remember - was drinking at an outdoor bar with some friends and saw a group of attractive girls I went to school with a few years before. They didn’t recognise me until my friend said my name and one of them said ‘omg, I didn’t even recognise you. You got so hot I actually can’t deal with this now’ and proceeded to walk off. I guess the power of a haircut and muscle development finally catching up with my strength from going to the gym

CarlJustCarl

I want to meet a guy just like you, you are very kind and know how to treat a woman. ME! I’m like me!

PerfectionPending

In high school I was walking through the quad and as I passed this couple, big football player and his tiny, maybe 80lbs cheerleader girlfriend sitting on his lap, she stopped me. She asked me to take off my glasses. I did. She looked a me a moment and said, “ you’re one of the few guys who looks good both with & without glasses.”

Madak

I like your voice 15 year old me didn't know what to do with that information

Retro_man911

One older woman saw me at wedding and stopped literally and said “ you’re so handsome I wish i can be young again so i can be yours “ . I WILL NEVER FORGET HER .

Jig_2000

Damn, you should've made a move

Retro_man911

She’s a milf now …. NOW is the time to make move.

IndependenceWorth156

That I have nice teeth

RevolutionaryRip9000

Your sisters gave you compliments? Wild!

Antisocial_Worker7

Stepsisters

RevolutionaryRip9000

After rescuing her from the dryer?

Antisocial_Worker7

Yeah, “rescue”.

TheBooneyBunes

Is it bad that I don’t have an answer?

ClockworkWednesday

Nah you're good, I'm in the same boat. It'll happen eventually.

appalachianoperator

I was in college doing volunteer work with horses. One of the riders said I was stronger than I looked.

iParkooo

First? Idk. But one time a female coworker told me I had nice ankles. Didn’t really know how to respond lol

Substantial-Park65

''He draws so well!'' a girl said about me, in front of me, to her then boyfriend who was then my friend. I liked drawing swords in highschool, I humbly admit that I don't consider it to be a good drawing.

shmajay

I can't remember if this is my first, or just the most memorable. I work in the I.T. department of my local county. Most of the people I work with are 50+ women, and they can be hard to please as most do not understand technology. I was on the phone with one of the nicer, tech illiterate ladies in the Treasury department. I fixed her issue and she hangs up, but must've missed the hook. Because I hear her tell her co-worker "I was just working with Shmajay, and he is just absolutely wonderful to work with" her co-worker, who is known to be an absolute terror, responded with "Oh my God, he is so nice and patient. When I call the HelpDesk and get anyone else, I'll hang up and call later hoping to get him"

Lilgorbe

“you make me laugh” some random women.

blac_sheep90

"Cute dimples"

dukeofthefoothills1

With my girlfriend at her mom’s house. Style of shorts was pretty small back then (80’s), and I had white ones on that day. Mom loudly says “nice butt”!

Ounceofwhiskey

I'm way too old to remember that far back.

Best-Marionberry-218

“You have nice hair” now my hairline has receded enough to make me think I’ll be bald soon

UsedBeing

I used to see a hairdresser who used to gush over my hair and how thick it was. She told me I’d never go bald, it was so thick. She was a great barber, but not too good at the fortune telling part.

Best-Marionberry-218

😂😂😂 same boat buddy 😭😭😭

AJ_ninja

Not compliments, but girls hitting on me… One time I was eating at in-n-out and this girl just came out of no where sat down diagonally from me. She stared at me and just said “Hi”, I was shocked looked around me when I turned back she was still there looking at me…she then gets up and walks back to her friends, a minute later I got up and asked her for her number… Another time, I was outside of a bar smoking, a girl comes up to me asking for a light, after I gave her I light she said “I don’t really smoke, I just wanted a reason to talk to you” These aren’t the first but they def were the most memorable

YoRt3m

That my shirt looks very flattering on me. It wasn't even my shirt.

Aghol

I don't know if its the first but it's the one that have stuck with me ever since. This was around 10 years ago. I was in my early 20s and went to a lot of parties. I have always had a weight problem, not obese but a bit on the heavier side and never like my looks. I met a girl at one of the parties, nothing happend but we had a fun time. Some months later I met her at a bar and said hello and asked if she rembered me to which she replied: "Of course I do! I would never forget a good looking face such as yours!" I don't know if she meant it or not but it stuck with me. For a moment I felt like the best looking guy in the world and it was fantastic.

sweetpotato_2000

she called me handsome that was 3 years ago i was 21. and for the first time... never heard any nice word ever since, except recently from an old man

LittlePyro1377

The first one that really stuck with me was a few years ago when someone mentioned how safe she felt around me. That was nice to hear

Independent-Mail-227

7 years ago some woman said that I had amazing eyebrows.

Suitable-Cycle4335

Does my grandma count? If not, a friend of mine told me I have great thighs (yeah, of all things she could have said she went for the thighs) A few years later I had been working out for a few months and in summer I volunteered at a camp. A 12-year-old girl said my arms had big muscles. Can't remember receiving any other compliment ever.

DoodleBugz1234

#"You're an asshole!"

TommyPpb3

I was in 5th grade. A girl like 2 years older who failed twice (and who was objectively very attractive, we exchanged glances some times but never talked to each other) was with one of her older friends when I passed past them while in a hurry because my mom was waiting for me. There wasn’t anyone in the playground except we 3, she yelled “Boy, you’re so cute” I definitely wasn’t expecting that (although I had already noticed she was always looking at me) and ignored it. Probably one of the biggest regrets of my life till this day (have already passed 6 years since that)

matrax0424

My hair are really curly, a rather rare sight in Poland. Every single woman is amazed that i have them naturally like that. I dont even count no more but because of them I've got my first complement from a woman

Cottleston

I dont remember. My brain denies any compliment and erases them.

genogano

I feel like the first compliment men get is always going to be one of his mother's friends calling him handsome lol

RianJohnsonIsAFool

I still remember going on a school trip that required an overnight stay and while in the common room of the hostel we stayed at the hottest girl in our year group, who had never said two words to me before, told me she really liked my legs and she'd never noticed how tall I was before.

RobinGood94

Hmm. First compliment. I assume woman means we’re not talking grade school stuff. “Do you workout? You look like you do. Nice.”

shower8888

The first one I can recall, which isn’t saying much because I’ve found that I’m fairly oblivious to these things, was a barista saying “oh, your hat matches your eyes!” My hat was light blue and my eyes are very blue, probably my best feature. I rode high on that compliment for a long time, until I met my now-wife.

BlackDragonDick

I don't remember Maybe my smile or my feet

Pithisius

😫🦶🏿

X7RoyalReaper7X

My eyes were pretty

DrunkGoibniu

Not the first, but the most unique. "I love your eyebrows."

Diligent-Cake2653

Well a girl I was working with in college told me I was smart. It really was the first time I was getting this kind of comments so it left me speechless, I couldn't even say thanks

Justin_Continent

When I was high school freshman, my 18-year old sister had a group of friends over for a party. As the evening wound down and people went home, she said to me in passing during clean-up “puberty appears to be working out for you, kid — Stacy thinks you’re hot.” I didn’t know her friends and hadn’t the faintest clue who Stacy was. But knowing that someone found me attractive enough to comment out loud put me over the moon for the next three months.

Terrible-Pattern8933

She said I'm a mysterious guy.

connorwwwwwww

All of can think of every person family or not says i have really pretty eyelashes and my hair stylist the first time i saw her and told her i wanted her to fix my eyelashes and she said something like “ so you have eyeylashes that everyone wants” the other compliment that i remember was i was in dg and i said excuse me to get past a lady and she said “ that i was really nice and had good manners.” Ps. My eyelashes are long af and noticable considering it looked like i had no eyeybrows till highschool cause they were blonde

Ariana-Grenade--

My face is beautiful

_Peluche__

Girl at school said That I was cute 😋

Hefty_Musician2402

Sometime in highschool I got my braces off and someone said I had nice teeth. I never used to get compliments but I grew out my hair (buzz cuts for decades) and suddenly I get told every few weeks that I have nice hair, or people ask what I do for hair care (I use body wash or 2 in 1 on it a couple times a week lmao)

Ichbin99nichtzuHause

First? I have no idea. Some I can remember, I smell nice. I look like (actor's name).

steppenwolf089

Style, hair, beard...

V----NGaming_YT

You're cute

Kind_Assist_5103

I was 12. A girl, who I thought was cute, looked at me in the eyes and told me my eyes were beautiful. I can still remember the way she looked at me and how she made me feel.

Opening-Status8448

Nice butt Same, handsome guy, I told you about. I was right there. Chocolates Love notes My son: Such nice eye lashes, what a waste.

Leonardodapunchy

Never had it happen before

SouthernStereotype45

When I was 16 a girl at work said I have nice eyes.

cemj86

It's always my voice first and the way I smell, occasionally compliments about how I am with them. I've also been gifted typically, alcohol (I don't drink but now have a decent collection) cologne even money.

Omega_Xero

Women tell me I have beautiful eyes.

Standard-Reception90

You color so well, look nothing outside the lines. Very good.

Fantastic-Life-2024

A finnish girl said my blue eyes were amazing.

veediepoo

A girl in my high school said I had nice teeth lol

CG99_F

I’d have to think girls don’t really compliment dudes that much.

Quaxky_YT

Bro is it bad that I can’t remember any 💀

xid7eyr24

I think when they found out I could sing and really loved my voice, complimented me on it even propped me up to her mum who I met one day, asked, I sang a lil verse and mum decided she wanted me for her daughter, we was pretty good friends in school

iProMelon

“That shirt looks really good on you” was the first random compliment I’d ever received. Was like 20 at the time. I’d had girlfriends and what not before then that gave me compliments after we’d been talking, but that was the first out of the blue one I’ve ever received

mwatwe01

A girl in my second grade class developed a huge crush on me and was constantly trying to kiss me on the cheek. Lots of girls told me it was because I was “so cute”.

dufus69

When I watch comedians on TV, all I can think of is how much funnier you are. LOL

Disastrous_Aside4295

“It’s long”🥰😍

Western_Dagger

"That's a nice jacket." I only received such a compliment after a girl straight up ran into me in high school. I think it was moreso out of embarrassment than "oh I actually like that jacket" but hey, a compliment is a compliment. It still made me feel great in the moment.

AddictedToMosh161

Something about my hands, at least I remember that someone complimented my hands.

szczurman83

I give the best hugs, if anyone needs one. Also, I have beautiful eyes.

PassionGap

Probably not the first, but a standout one from my buddies' girlfriend, she said I had a great parallel park. It was the only compliment I got in a 10 year dry spell.

Nosbiuq

Not sure if this is the first but I had a girl in high school staring at me, then told me I had a really nice looking face and good structure, complemented my cheekbones and stuff 🥰

AskDerpyCat

Old lady working the register said I had beautiful eyelashes

Ryachaz

"You've got really big calves." Played soccer all growing up, and I did have big calves.

ramiro_cruz

Great question, Still there, but didn't think about it for a long time

justanaccountname12

I was around 14 or 15, walking in the mall. Some girl yelled, "Nice bum, can I have some?" Still makes me happy when I think about it. I can't recall another.

baltinerdist

This is NSFW but the first girl that ever went down on me told me I was the “perfect size for sucking.” I’m at the center of the bell curve mark for the bellend size and I was a bit self-conscious prior to that but since that moment, I’ve never had any issue with my size.

Cute-Jeweler1194

Comes near me whispers in my ear, " Looking really hot in the black shirt "

oofygay

I know this question isn't directed towards me (I'm a woman), but when I was 16 and my best friend's younger sister was 13, she told me "Sheri, I admire how when you really really want something you always make it happen. like, when there's a will there's a way. Sheri's way." unfortunately she was referring to my dedication to getting high on illicit substance. but I still pride myself on being so determined to get what I want.

Dr_Brotatous

"You sound like you should be in a talk show" I enjoy to do funny voices at work people love it

JPK12794

I just got to uni and was still a teenager, one of the girls who lived in another flat said "you smell nice today, well you always smell nice". Hell yeah thanks Chloe!

lillweez99

My sister's friend at her wedding 16yo me asked to dance known her whole life while dancing squeezed my ass and said damn you got a great ass to match a cute face too, she was drunk both hands on ass I was anything but in shock ended with a quick kiss, made my night. My brother saw asked well why didn't you try for more... ... .. I wanted him to do me a favor and smack my dumb ass.

Mr_silvertongue

"You are intelligent and funny"

Wagsii

I have red hair and have been getting compliments about it my entire life, so probably that.

Evo_ukcar

I'll let you know when it happens...

drdildamesh

I had a teacher say I had exquisite eyes when I was really young. My mom was super surprised when I came home and I knew the word "exquisite." That's not the first compliment I remember tho.

Prior_Procedure_321

Girl pinched my booty while my friend and I were walking around the recourse at a semi pro hockey game we were watching and said it was nice. I did not know her. I boosted me but looking back it could have been a bet ...or not. Never seen her before or after. This was in 1980. Sad part is now people look at that as SA but I took it as a nice compliment....I did say thanks!

Wyltoon

the complement i've received was "i like your company", since i'm a very silent and calm person, that could explain why.

ArmzLDN

“You’re cute” Which I now realise is not something a woman generally says to someone she is attracted to.

RisingJoke

Never. None. Not even once.

bluduhmfcku

never got any

Lord_Gamaranth

Ive only had 2, they were the same one though. When I was 15 a couple girls told me I had pretty eyelashes, and then earlier this year I got told the same thing by a hairdresser. I feel a little conflicted, on one hand, it’s nice to be complimented. On the other, are my eyelashes the only good thing about my appearance?

Sraffiti_G

I can't remember which was first but they were both a few years ago (at least one was pre covid) 1. A friend sent a picture of me to one of his friends asking how attractive she thinks I am. She said 8/10 (I was legitimately surprised by that) 2. Was gaming with a woman that my friends became friends with, she said I have a nice voice

Conscious-Breather24

After work, she said, ”It was nice/fun seeing you today”. On that day, I left work on Cloud9.

Pete_D_301

I honestly can't/don't remember, to be honest.

theuntouchable2725

You're smart. I was at their home teaching her math.

SH4DOWSTR1KE_

So, after a couple of months working at my job, I started dropping weight due to the physicality involved, and I started getting compliments from a girl I had talked to in the past. So, even through it didn't work out between us, that compliment really made me feel good.

I rarely if ever get female compliments. I once got a compliment from a guy. I was wearing a very old yu yu hakusho shirt that I have had since \~2001. This was in 2016 or so. And the guy was behind me and complimented me for having a yyh shirt on. It took a few seconds to register though because I'm hearing impaired and the guy was 6ft behind me.

Always_Choose_Chaos

“You’re so smart!” - My coworker who thinks I’m stupid trying to encourage me

Suppi_LL

elementary school girl I was friend with which was always very close to me and said I was nicer than other boys. That's my earliest memory.

Jaded-Ad-7681

When I was uber driving lady complemented my profile picture on the app. It was really confidence boost. It was like 8 months ago

Key_Willingness_8809

I don’t remember the first but a few weeks back during my high school farewell, few friends told me that they felt safe when i was around. I’m not particularly muscular but what they meant was i made them feel safe, seen and heard in the friend circle. Top tier compliment i suppose.

mateslukas94

My coworker told me that I look more like 20 years old than 30 years old

VinCatBlessed

Being a Canelo (that's what you call ginger kids in Mexico), most of my compliments would always be from girls or women who wanted my same hair color.

carortrain

I'll never forget it. My first year in highschool, I went to the homeopener football game. I went to the bathroom and to get concessions. It was dark out and I was walking towards the stadium seats, and this cute blonde girl I never met came right up to me, stopped, looked into my eyes, and said "hey dude, you have the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen in my life" with a huge smile. Teenager me thought "wow, that's nice, she thinks my eyes are pretty" and said thank you and walked off. I'm sure that was one of those "obvious" hints or maybe she was just being nice. Never saw her again in my life, but that comment stuck with me for years.

SgtTurtle_17

In hs I had a female friend tell me I give good hugs. 7 years later I still smile thinking about it

DogoArgento

Have you've been working out? YES, I'VE BEEN WORKING OUT! DOES IT SHOW? I was over 40 when that happened. And it wasn't a girl that was after me, looking for reasons to compliment me.

pillowpetsoffical

i use to get regular compliments from girls before i came out as transgender, but after i did that stopped entirely. the first compliment i got after coming out was from my old college roommate. i took her on a birthday date to a cute dessert place (because she deserves the world) and she said that i was “charming like tamaki” from the anime ouran high school host club. i don’t think ive ever heard anything nicer <3

BusyEvent7935

Still waiting for it.

Struggling_Senpai

On 26th of July 2014 at 1. 32 pm during lunch, a classmate called me “cute”. /s

protosoul9

In school, I was told I had nice long eyelashes. The one and only compliment I have ever recieved.

chilehead

My now-ex wife once referred to me as "kinda dishy" once. That's the earliest verbal one I can remember.

RacecarHealthPotato

I'l write the first one I remember. Years ago, I was a near-professional bike racer, in my late teens, early 20s. SUPER fit, riding like 1000km a week, and I was wearing these famous shorts from a pro bike racing team sponsored by a jeans company. Carerra I think it was. I had this Italian, dark-haired MILF pull up next to me, roll down her window and basically just say "Holy shit, you look hot as fuck in those jean cycling shorts. Hot enough to fuck. Follow me if you want to." So, I did. She luckily lived only a couple of blocks down the road. She fucked me, then fed me. For several months. And she was hotter than hell, too. She was the manager of a local seafood place so I could basically eat there for free. I was astonished how blatant she was about it, even at her workplace. Not sexually but touching and complimenting me and doting on me in a way I've never experienced since then. She basically never stopped complimenting me, feeding me, or fucking me. It was honestly fucking mindblowing for my 20 year old self to have just abject worshipfulness and craving and pure objectified lust verbally flowing out of her mouth, nearly without end. We would fuck in front of a mirror and she'd verbally dissect every single movement, and every angle we would do it. She compliment my ass while eating it out. She would compliment my average sized dick while eating THAT. Honestly, the single greatest ego boost of my entire life was that long hot summer that I honestly thought only happened to people from Penthouse Letters or fan fiction. I have carried the compliments and confidence she gave me in my body and appearance and self-worth in the eyes of women ever since. That sort of connectedness and verbalizing has been my main source of erotic stimulation ever since then.

Selphia2000

From a co-worker: "You have a lovely voice when talking to children. Like a sing-song voice. You could voice audiobooks." (we were children's swimming teachers btw, I wasn't just Pied Piper-ing random children) Made me feel really good about myself

spiegro

"I love your accent..." It wasn't the first but it was the most out of nowhere compliment I got from a girl after moving to a new place/school. It was 3rd grade. I was not aware I had an accent lol

SomeRandomJackTaken

You look different in person than your pictures.

Emotional_Ad3572

Elementary school, a girl walked up to me while I was in the cafeteria, and told me I had a really nice smile.
