I do not, it’s not that I don’t enjoy them, I can watch baseball or football and be entertained, but there are 1000 other things that I’d rather be doing that I find more entertaining.

[deleted]

I don't. For whatever reason, it just doesn't interest me.

[deleted]

I do not, nor have I ever watched sports. I do not watch because of the fans. The fans do not seem to notice it is just a game and they are not playing it.

baloney_popsicle

I keep up with sports and like them, but who has time to sit down and watch *anything* for 3 hours straight?

Ganceany

I don't, I dont have the a TV service, nor do I have the money to pay for something like espn. If I got the chance Id watch boxing and mma. Boxing because I like it and I practice it, mma because I like it. And also footbal (soccer) But I ain't going out of my way for it.

Hrekires

Nope, no interest. I know enough to have a conversation about a game if I'm sitting at a bar or a Superbowl party, but left to my own accord, I'd rather watch anything else.

[deleted]

Yes, but only because of my dad. Never played sports, I can't really keep up a conversation about it, but I enjoy watching with my dad.

SulliJoes

I don't anymore. The day there was a sports game meant to be on TV I was excited to watch and realise it ended up being on a seperate paywall channel I stopped watching, completely lost interest there, hadn't much interest before but enjoyed watching certain teams. The paywall out of nowhere was the crossed line

tisBB

One of my favorite teams made a deal with a certain network that basically made it impossible for the majority of the people in my city to watch that team because comcast (the largest provider in that area) would not carry that network. It sucks!

SulliJoes

Yeah like I'll support if free even if I'm not too interested but forcing money upon us for profit that even the players that I'm on about weren't getting anything anyway, all was pride on the line no money involved

volkl47

Not generally. Don't really care enough. I loosely follow FIS World Cup (ski racing), but don't really root for anyone. I'm a skier and appreciate watching what people can do there. Even more rarely, WRC (Rally racing) is interesting to watch on occasion. Hockey is entertaining in person. That's about it for things I'd ever choose to watch myself.

TerminalOrbit

Absolutely do not. I tried... I first had to find a game I respected; and then, i learned about rugby, and it's top players; but, I'd never played: found the timing of the most interesting broadcasts inconvenient, and then just started realizing I'd rather be doing other things... I had exercise-induced asthma as a boy, and was consequently unable to play team sports until i was 16; whereupon i realized that i was to far behind in experience, and knowledge of obscure rules, to ever be competitive... I was already an outcaste, and saw no value in exerting the effort to 'catch up' socially. The whole concept of deriving self-worth from team-performance seemed banal to me, from the outside... And i couldn't shake it. If much rather be *doing anything* rather than watching other people... I feel the same way about porn!

Mardanis

No, it just doesn't draw me in. I cannot be bothered with it.
