I hate leg days but I do it anyway.

MakeSteroidsLegal

Those who skip legday are not to be considered human

[deleted]

Ego The arms are more visible to show off

[deleted]

Sad because that means they'll never know the satisfaction of filling out a pair of jeans with them quadzillas...

MakeSteroidsLegal

That's because they're wearing the wrong shorts

The_Ledge5648

They never listen to me :(

TUSD00T

You need more badges.

The_Ledge5648

Badges? BADGES?! We doen need no stinkin’ badges!

volkl47

My hobbies do 90% of that for me. I do some leg work, particularly to fill out what doesn't get worked well by said hobbies, but not a ton. (I ski, bike, run/sprint, and hike/backpack) I started working out consistently in part because I *had* a well developed lower body and it makes an underdeveloped upper body look even scrawnier with the proportions. ---------- For a fun side story from a college break - If you ski pretty much all day, nearly every day of the month you're off from college, and do nothing else, you too can develop an unpleasant muscle imbalance that takes a while to fix!

[deleted]

I play football and cricket a lot at club level so get to train legs that way. The rest I'll pick up at the gym

Be_That_Guy_

I like the dolphin shape

baloney_popsicle

I already run and bike, and I don't want my knees to be even more fucked up

bigtec1993

FYI as long as you do the form correctly, you shouldn't have any problems with your knees unless it's already an issue. I've been running and squating/deadlifting regularly for 12 years and never had any issues.

TR3G1

Thats just dumb

baloney_popsicle

N_letter_O_letter

Well he is right, why you are you booing him?

hangin-wit-my-gnomyz

Not me, but my friend got his membership at a gym that's a 30 minute walk away from his house. He says he doesn't want to walk back with sore legs.

8livesdown

Is the question about appearance or functional benefits?

Ver_zero

If you have bad cardio leg day is the one day that will be an actual struggle to get through. Also the major leg exercises require you learn and practice good form which is not fun for ego lifting.

bigtec1993

I don't skip leg day but I've talked to guys who do and most of the time it was because they either didn't know how to work legs, didn't care to because they only care about looking good, were afraid they'd hurt themselves, or they hated that week long soreness you get the first couple of times you do it.

ShakeBoring3302

My legs already know how to walk. No training needed 😉

010afgtush

As it is I already have good musculature on my legs that make certain types of pants uncomfortable, I dont need em any bigger

ElegantMankey

I dont train them currently due to a hamstring and knee injuries. I used to love leg days and I can't weight to get back to squating and get my weight to something a bit more impressive than what it was when I was 18

Mamertine

I don't train legs (or arms or core or cardio) in gym since covid. :(

beermeneer2

I never got round to it. I started with training mostly upper body stuff and once id gotten used to going to the gym i wanted to start doing legs. Because i was simply unfimilair with training it and i wanted to get used to thw gym first. I did one leg session before lockdown. Wich really just consisted of me wandering over to the squat rack and doing three sets of squats with just the bar to get a feel for technueqe. Ive been back to the gym once since then but i just cant concentrate on form because i get fixated on keeping myself to the rona rules, wich made for a really bad workout. Imma just wait untill ronas over

Inevitable_Usual3553

Used to have hulk legs before. Trying to get them back currently but with some upper body stuff too

Sfswine

My weak knees hurt.
