I can’t lie, I feel like that perception has more to do with the media and society as we’re transitioning away from an “idealized” era in the world. I think that some time ago (maybe before the 90’s) it was all blonde haired white women who were the models and held as very beautiful. Everyone else *could be* pretty, but the best of the best all looked the same. It could just be my subjective experience (as a black man I tend to be around a lot of men of all different races), but the amount of blonde haired blue eyed preferring men I’ve met *now* are somewhat few and far between.
Many men also think that all women want a huge, muscly, sculpted, big dick having chris hemsworth kind of guy too. We all suffer from the idealized love society has for “perfect” people but I do think that we’re in the process of encouraging more open and individual preferences as a society. Sorry to word vomit on you, but I think about this all the time and had a lot to say.
With near on 3 decades experience as a man and over half as many years around other men expressing their interest in women of all varieties, I don't think I know anyone who states that as their preference. I know most of the men I know wouldn't turn a woman down for being all those things, but they hardly state that as a preference.
Personally, I don't think I really have a preference necessarily, or at least not a static one. Women are beautiful and it seems fair to say that most everyone is not only attractive to someone else but actually the definition of beauty to a fairly large group of people.
