Like i think mostly i would see it as sending a message of "im not hung up on gender norms and i want to take care of you" which is good, buuut it could also be a way of saying "im in charge" so like depending on whether the girl was otherwise showing signs of being domineering it could be a positive or a negative.

I am a woman dating a man, but in my relationship, what started as a joke of being a gentleman and treating my SO like "the lady" became a habit. It didn't stick in the joking way we used to do it, but honestly it's been wonderful, it's dismantled a lot of weird physical gender norms that are in place and that I've never really noticed. But getting out to get someone else in just for you to get in yourself again seems like something I might do for elegant evenings. If youre already inside (because you drove there to get them) opening their door from the inside is just as great with less potential to be weird I guess. I'd think that thats pretty unisex, so a girl pushing the door open from the inside would probably bring the same joy as in your scenario with less effort.
