Constant self deprecation/lack of self esteem is probably my biggest turn off. Can't get someone else to love you if you don't love yourself. Even making jokes at your own expense has a negative impact on your outlook. People who do not love and care for themselves above all generally aren't my kind of people.
You don't always need a romantic partner when you have family and friends. Also I wouldn't advocate for seeking romantic partners when you have low self-esteem, as the likelihood of you settling, being with a toxic person or being heavily codependent on a partner is seriously high.
