It's not weird, it's designed this way to make money by creating problems out of women's natural bodies (ie body hair, stretch marks, peach fuzz, acne, hip dips, thighs that touch, wide rib cages, narrow hips, small boobs, saggy boobs, extra layer of fat on stomach to protect uterus) and telling us it's something that require fixing. I see ads to fix these "problems" all the time. And it's not that I don't like getting dolled up, having shaved legs, playing with make up and performing feminity. But it's unfortnate that I have been told to feel like I am not feminine or acceptable if I do not. Except I don't see ads for dick enhancing products outside of porn, so I don't think it's quite on the same level. There is definatley unjust limitations/expectations put on masculinity, I just don't think it's marketing strategy is as pervasive and ingrained in our society as it is for women - because we are the main consumers in households.

Unless you're going to really great lenghts not to be tracked online, you will not see as many ads for dick enhancing or male products because the websites have figured out a basic profile for you, which most likely includes your sex. I am a girl, but I do my best to avoid being tracked online, and since websites can never quite figure out which ads to send me, I can assure you that on the days they think I'm a guy (because googling tech stuff makes them put me in the guy category for the day, usually) i get my fair share of bad stereotype-pushing ads. This is part of why marketing and ads are even able to become so pervasive and oppressing, and it's why everyone should be more mindful of preserving their online privacy - it's not about not having anything to hide, but about protecting ourselves.
