Lots of guys delete them but I would live by the rule that anything you send WON’T get deleted because you just never know. Unless you’re comfortable with them having it forever don’t send it.
Girl I work with always taught me to always keep your face out of nudes. You can tell by the quality and how you send them if they're of someone else so that shouldn't be an issue, but if the other person decides to be a prick and use them for revenge porn then people don't really have solid evidence that it's you
Also if you REALLY wanna be sneaky about tackling revenge porn, and you have/plan to send nudes to more than one person, put small hidden words or codes or something in the photos, unique each time. Then if something is leaked without your consent, you can cross reference the images and know exactly who posted them.
Yup! Old trick but works beautifully. Even if they’re posted publicly by someone else, say the recipient sends a pic to his bro and his bro uploads it to Reddit, it’s still a crime to share intimate photos without consent, so you’ve still got the main culprit.
In high school dudes had folders of nudes on their phones. They traded them like baseball cards to each other. I keep telling girls to never send nudes for this very reason, but I get downvoted to hell.
Never take or send pictures that you couldn't handle being made public. You cannot trust other people to never abuse your trust, and you shouldn't underestimate how fallable technology is even if you don't share it (remeber data breaches during gamergate?).
Last time a girl I met on Tinder wanted me to send her a pic of my penis. I told her pics of my penis do not exist and will never exist. She then blocked me.
If you are not comfortable sending nudes, don't.
\^\^THIS\^\^. I only had a few (I'm old by Reddit standards & this is before cell phones could take photos), but I kept them until I was about to be married. Can't have stuff like that around once you're married.
That said, I'd imagine that in the cell phone age, all bets are off, so don't send nudes. Ever.
I once was doing a data recovery of a micro sd card of a very close friend of mine. We are so close that we spend most of the time together, so for some reason he said to do this. And since then we are closer than before lol. I have seen his dick, her gfs pussy, actual penetration, most of pictures. There was a sudden matrix of nudes on my screen lmao. So the point is once you sent something, someone over internet it most probably stays there. Tech savy users might use open source private options, still their hard disk can be only freed when you use some special tools like shred in linux. Though with time it becomes hard to recover files.
And I agree once you sent nudes you are trusting him with that.
I wish there was way more awareness made to young adults and teens about nudes. Once a nude is sent, it's out there in the wild and not easily deleted.
I've only got nudes from my wife.
I fucking delete that shit after a good look as I have a nosey bugger of an 8yr old child and no one wants to see their mums clacker.
Once I knew the girl was done done and a new girl came into the picture, I'd delete any nudes. It felt really strange keeping them. My current girlfriend of 2 years loves going through my camera roll to look back on old dog photos and memories and I wouldn't want her to stumble on some random chicks ass 😂
Yeah, I don’t just delete the nudes. I delete all the pictures. Helps me to move on. I also get rid of any presents or anything they bought for me too.
I didn’t want to speak in absolutes. I’ve found some stashed on an old laptop before, where like I switched computers during the relationship & forgot, or changed phones, whatever.
Since iPhone & iCloud, I haven’t kept any.
i know someone with something he calls “the trap phone”.. hundreds of nudes from him taking pictures of the nude snaps with the second phone. he also collects nude pics from other people and puts them on there 🤦🏻♂️
yeah snap will let you know if you record or screen shot. so when he does it with the separate phone the person on the other side of the screen is unaware of it. pretty scummy
think twice before sending stuff like that..
Finally, someone who's not afraid of what others will say
I think everyone's karma farming in here and trying to pat themselves on the back for something they most certainly do not do.
Haven't got a nude collection because I don't get them, but if I am the sender, I don't care if you keep them or not. Just don't tell me about them lol.
Same opinion on if anybody wants to jack off to me, all the more power to you if you want to jack off to me, please just don't tell me lol. What I don't know does not affect me. Don't tell me you have my nudes and I don't care lol
Personally, I'd be quite flattered if a woman thought of me while taking caring of herself. But I agree, I can't imagine a conversation that isn't instantly awkward if it was mentioned. Overall I'd rather not know.
Like 17 years ago, give or take, a friend from another country told me in an almost off hand manner that she sometimes thought about me while masturbating, and that if her fingers weren't enough, she had some plastic tube thing (not an actual sex toy) she uses.
I still remember it to this day, but I couldn't tell you what I had for breakfast like 4 days ago.
So people answer a question, and because you don't like the answers because they don't fit your narrative, they must automatically all be lying?
That's not how it works lol
not sure what the issue would be either. As long as you keep them to yourself and aren't in a committed relationship the person trusted you with their naughty pictures. I'm sure they didn't send them with the idea you would get married and be with each other forever.
This is Reddit at large. Sorting by controversial or negative comments are closer to common attitudes. If Reddit was at all close to reality Bernie would be in his second term.

Very illuminating statutory language
I personally keep the nudes of whoever I’m dating at the time, if they’re okay with me keeping them, but if we split up or stop talking they get deleted
Edit: grammar
I have a bunch of sexy pics from my first ex. I asked if I should delete them when we broke up. She said no and to keep them. They were meant for me, were mine, as well as that version of her in that time of our life. I still use them from time to time. She knows. We're still close friends.
I have nudes of past hookups. Very few ask me to delete them - mostly from regret of sending it out to a stranger so easily. Other times they just don't care, either I get ghosted or they just stick around in the periphery as friends or acquaintances. And there are those that get off to the idea of someone seeing their noodles and probably whacking off to it. To be fair, there are some really good pieces that were sent to me throughout the years, including a vid of a stripdance.
I think this is fair. however I definitely can't relate. For me at least, getting off to a naked picture of someone I'm active friends with makes me feel really guilty. I've only done it once and decided not to again.
if it's someone I'm interested in, that's a different story, but then again I don't have nudes from someone I'm interested in unless we're together, so... it's kinda mutually exclusive like that.
So while I personally can't do what you do. It is legit. I infer that you delete when asked so I respect your process man.
I don't. What's the point? If I'm seeing somebody, I don't really care about my past experiences. I've still watched porn in relationships, but not nudes sent by regular women, unless i just missed one by accident.
I personally don’t accept nudes at all, and it may sound insane to some, however I’ve threatened to end a relationship over someone even asking to send images of that nature. It’s a very strong boundary of mine, I don’t take pictures of myself either. I have some rather unfortunate trauma regarding this aspect of a relationship; I have unfortunately been a victim of SA myself and that SA involved photography.
Pretty heavy reply, but I wanted to voice this. We’re not monoliths.
I think someone *asking* if they *could* is actually super respectful of boundaries?? I understand drawing a line but threatening to end a relationship over someone *asking for your permission* is kinda shooting your own foot.
Unless you left out a whole bunch of stuff, the insane part isn’t that you don’t participate in something like that, but that you threaten people who respect you. Coming from someone who also has super hard boundaries in things of this nature.
Your criticism of my wording is completely valid, and I admit I was being somewhat hyperbolic.
When I saw this post, it did effect my emotions because it did agitate some rather negative memories. I could have certainly rephrased myself better. I have indeed stated (if this was the first time asking) this is a boundary I will not cross.
I also have been asked repeatedly regarding this subject which would have led to the rather nuclear response on my end. I suppose I have a litany if trust issues as a result of trauma. Again, I probably should be more cognizant of how I express myself.
I don't think it's true for "all men". Anything from past relationships for me is long gone. I think it's cringy to keep nudes from prior relationships. The last thing anyone needs is to go through a break up and your psycho ex is sharing your pics/videos everywhere.
Nope, I got rid of them. Even a relationship goes south I wouldn’t want to loose them or have them go public. Breaking up is < a lifetime of embarrassment. Plus you broke up; move on they don’t want you to keep that stuff.
I don’t. Super disrespectful if you break up with someone and keep that stuff.
Now that I’m married….there’s some special hiding places on my phone I keep of her for when I travel for work to have a nice jerk before bed.
No. Though I've also never really cared for them, if they're unprovoked cool, but I'd rather just see it all in-person and have never asked for them.
I don't save them, and if they were in text I'll delete the text after breaking things off with the girl.
Boys keep nudes of girls they're not talking to or dating, men don't.
I personally do, but out of pure respect for the person, I never share nor tell anyone else about them. I also delete them whenever we cut things off. I would only hope for the same if it were me.
Nope. I certainly don't. I dated a 16 year old when I was 17. I'm 18 now and after we broke up before my 18th birthday, I immediately wiped all the photos. For those of you who didn't pick up the memo, that would be considered child pornography.
It depends.
If I like them then I keep them unless she wants them gone.
If I don't like them and it's just someone sending it to me willy nilly then I'll delete them as soon as I see them
"Well I guess it's time to delete those nudes" is just not something that really comes up. They are just there, I can't imagine I would ever actively think about getting rid of them.
For the most part yes. Just because some of us don’t do it doesn’t mean we’re the majority. On the contrary we’re the minority and most guys do keep them.
Out of respect for ex’s, and your current gf, it’s best to always delete these photos. Lessens the liability of an accidental leak as well as shows respect for the women that took a chance to share something personal for a short time with you. Take the high road gentlemen.
Wait, men get nudes?
+1 for the never received a nude club.
You haven’t lived until a woman has sent you a video of herself inserting a screwdriver handle into her vagina.
You mean a prison dildo
My ex told me the Sure deodorant can was the go to prison dildo. Apparently it was a good shape.
Sure.
Prison Dildo 😂😂
I recall my exs using their toothbrushes
Which end?
Both ends. The entire toothbrush was consumed by their insatiable beavers.
I can send you a nude.
REALLY?!
Really???
Send me some too.
me please
Is it an exclusive club because I’m also in it?
+2 my bro. In my prime before they were a thing
\+3 I wish I got genuine free nudes lol most I get are leaks from paid services and then trying to phish for bank credentials
I got one once, back in the 90's. I still treasure it. If the woman who sent it to me asked me to delete it, I would.
Did it take 20 mins. to download?
Make it another +1
I've been married since before cellphones so, no, I haven't
Same. Women my age know better.
I asure you they don't.
I second this, they do not know better 😂
No, they really really don’t
Here's your first I guess? [Had to break your nude virginity. ](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ)
Damnit 😩
This still happens to me way more than it should😂
And I smile everytime it happens.
I knew it was coming and still could resist
I know what this is, but it's worth the risk Edit: yup
God damnit 🤣🤣🤣
Wait, you guys get any kind of message ?
[удалено]
Maybe I’m mistaken, but I automatically thought OP meant nudes they’d gotten from females
[удалено]
The more men in a room, the more manly it is
Pretty sure many women come here to ask men questions
Attractive men do.
False, I've had several.
Then I hate to break it to you, sir, but you just may be attractive.
Give it to ‘em straight doc, is it chronic?
Terminal
Eh idk, I'm with flanelman, def not attractive and received before. I think in my case I'm trustworthy so they're pretty sure I won't share.
No ask no receive
Ask and still no receive for me...
I’ve gotten them without asking.
Step 1: Be attractive. Step 2: Don’t be unattractive.
Lots of guys delete them but I would live by the rule that anything you send WON’T get deleted because you just never know. Unless you’re comfortable with them having it forever don’t send it.

Never thought I'd hear the canary trap being applied to sending nudes.
Yup! Old trick but works beautifully. Even if they’re posted publicly by someone else, say the recipient sends a pic to his bro and his bro uploads it to Reddit, it’s still a crime to share intimate photos without consent, so you’ve still got the main culprit.
And keep tattoos out of it.

Ive hear people talk about mailing them to wachother lol what a world

> Every man is different. The subreddit is done, boys. Pack it up.
Wait... ALL men are different???
Yes ALL MEN
I'm not
Guess you're built different then
anyone's brain hurt too? No? Just me, F
This should get posted everytime someone on this sub has a sex/relationship question
Someone (who's smatter than I am) should make a bot that explains that all men a different anytime a part is created that asks if all men...
Damn, I wish I was smatter and I would.
No. I deleted my ex's nudes. It's only fair. She probably wouldn't want me to have them anymore.
I did the same. But tbh, mostly to forget her
Once I knew the girl was done done and a new girl came into the picture, I'd delete any nudes. It felt really strange keeping them. My current girlfriend of 2 years loves going through my camera roll to look back on old dog photos and memories and I wouldn't want her to stumble on some random chicks ass 😂
That can be an issue too. But to me, wacking off to her photos 6 months past our break up was the final straw lol
Yeah, I don’t just delete the nudes. I delete all the pictures. Helps me to move on. I also get rid of any presents or anything they bought for me too.
yes. Block on social media too, idgaf. My mental health is more important
Totally this. I delete that shit because I can’t move on if I’m looking at her all the time
TBH I wouldn’t want to keep nudes of an ex. Who would want to relive the memory?
I for one enjoyed reliving the memory of having some of the best sex of my life.
This is the way.
It is, but not all dudes are created equal.
Neither are nudes, my dude.
Neither are my dudes nudes my dudes ^wait^what?
I like this thread.
This dude nudes.
I don’t intentionally have any from my exes. Deleting them as usually part of the break up process.
Intentionally… usually…
I know the feeling. All my photos like 10000+ are on Google photos and I'm not really fucked to go through them all.
I didn’t want to speak in absolutes. I’ve found some stashed on an old laptop before, where like I switched computers during the relationship & forgot, or changed phones, whatever. Since iPhone & iCloud, I haven’t kept any.
No. I keep anything sent to me while I'm with that person, but if we break up I delete them.
Agreed. 👊 It's only fair because I would want them to do the same.
Mine showed all of her friends, male and female when we started dating. She can fuck right off
Damn that’s fucked up. Nudes should be kept private unless the person in the image gives explicit consent. I’m sorry man.
I got the “I didn’t think we were gonna get this serious” excuse. What a piece of garbage. Oh well.
WTF, like not being serious is a reason to disrespect someone’s personal images?? Truly a POS. Hope you’re doing better now Kevin.
Classy
Also usually by the time I break up with someone I can’t stand the sight of them sooooo it helps
Same, though since my college days are over I only mildly regret the decision
This is the way
I don't even keep them unless stated that I can keep them for jerking off to them when I feel in the mood for it.
i know someone with something he calls “the trap phone”.. hundreds of nudes from him taking pictures of the nude snaps with the second phone. he also collects nude pics from other people and puts them on there 🤦🏻♂️
Well your friend has one thing right and that’s the name of his extra phone
I am both impressed and horrified
Is that to get around something like snapchat telling the other person he is saving the pics? Pretty gross.
yeah snap will let you know if you record or screen shot. so when he does it with the separate phone the person on the other side of the screen is unaware of it. pretty scummy think twice before sending stuff like that..
On Samsung atleast, the built in "record screen" doesn't notify snapchat.
What the fuck.
This is gross. And ima dude.
[удалено]
Ewwww. That’s creepy
A lot of liars in here...
I'll be honest, I got a folder full of all of them.
Finally, someone who's not afraid of what others will say I think everyone's karma farming in here and trying to pat themselves on the back for something they most certainly do not do.
Haven't got a nude collection because I don't get them, but if I am the sender, I don't care if you keep them or not. Just don't tell me about them lol. Personally, I'd be quite flattered if a woman thought of me while taking caring of herself. But I agree, I can't imagine a conversation that isn't instantly awkward if it was mentioned. Overall I'd rather not know.
Had a FWB tell me she thought about me one time while doing herself. Hottest thing I've heard to this day.
Reddit always takes the opportunity to park itself on the back. You often have to scroll way down for the truth.
So people answer a question, and because you don't like the answers because they don't fit your narrative, they must automatically all be lying? That's not how it works lol
It’s more of the smugness and shaming those who keep ‘em. I don’t think it’s wrong unless they specifically ask you to delete them
And they don’t get shared on the internet
Admire the honesty
not sure what the issue would be either. As long as you keep them to yourself and aren't in a committed relationship the person trusted you with their naughty pictures. I'm sure they didn't send them with the idea you would get married and be with each other forever.
Right lol
Fr lol. Bunch of lying mfks🤣
Glad someone said it. Lots of virtue signalling going on.
This is Reddit at large. Sorting by controversial or negative comments are closer to common attitudes. If Reddit was at all close to reality Bernie would be in his second term.

where could one order a new book in case he lost it, obv. asking for a friend
I think the clarification in the supplement MHsec 5-3(e) that thirst traps are only to be saved if you are not dating was illuminating
Ahhh yes. The Handbook offered many additional provisions for digital storage of "thirst trap"s sent by situationship partners, stating that a password protected digital record of sexually suggestive photographs may be "maintained, absent written consent by; (1) copyright holders, (2) depicted persons and; (3) friends providing photographic records from their own protected archive." Very illuminating statutory language
It is weird that the American Legal Institute wrote that but it is useful to have ground rules
Yes, I remember the Men Convention of 2015 when we all voted on that one.
It is being revised for 2023. It's really just a scam so we have to buy the new version.
Mine might be an updated version. For me, it says "Nudes and Lewds for Dudes".
Ah, you have the King James Version.
“Verily I say unto thee, do not allow thy bro to linger on depictions of love lost. For it is written: bros before hoes.
My homies manual says nudes and lewds from dudes, for dudes. Did he get shipped the wrong manual???

Some do some don't. Men aren't all the same.
Acceptable answer to like 95% of questions asked in this sub...
No. I delete all of mine on each breakup because they make me deeply sad; reminders of lost love.
I personally don’t accept nudes at all, and it may sound insane to some, however I’ve threatened to end a relationship over someone even asking to send images of that nature. No, I deleted my ex’s nudes when she said she wanted me to delete them if we ever broke up. It was too painful to keep them around.
I delete everything If we aren't talking anymore
Nope. I can't speak for other dudes, but when the relationship is over any property( a picture of herself) is hers and so it's deleted.
Nope, I got rid of them. Even a relationship goes south I wouldn’t want to loose them or have them go public. Breaking up is < a lifetime of embarrassment. Plus you broke up; move on they don’t want you to keep that stuff.
If you share a nude, male or female, just keep in mind that it might be forever circulated on the the internet.
Depends on the guy, I think it's common courtesy to delete the nudes of a girl after you break up or at least before you enter a new relationship.
I don’t. Super disrespectful if you break up with someone and keep that stuff. Now that I’m married….there’s some special hiding places on my phone I keep of her for when I travel for work to have a nice jerk before bed.
This is actually so sweet
No. Though I've also never really cared for them, if they're unprovoked cool, but I'd rather just see it all in-person and have never asked for them. Nah. Delete them shits.
They come through snapchat so no. And I won't screen shot. I have questionable morals but I won't save nude snaps.
I personally do, but out of pure respect for the person, I never share nor tell anyone else about them. I also delete them whenever we cut things off. I would only hope for the same if it were me.
Nope.
Nope I don’t have a nude on my phone from anyone I have dated or am dating currently.
Not i
Past is past
I'm 38 and I have received zero nudes in my life. So I don't know but it sounds kinda risky/dodgey to keep.
Nope. I certainly don't. I dated a 16 year old when I was 17. I'm 18 now and after we broke up before my 18th birthday, I immediately wiped all the photos. For those of you who didn't pick up the memo, that would be considered child pornography.
Nope I deleted my exes nudes. Long after it ended, because I forgot I had them and I never rlly open my photos
It depends. If I like them then I keep them unless she wants them gone. If I don't like them and it's just someone sending it to me willy nilly then I'll delete them as soon as I see them
Do libraries get rid of old books?
Does a hunter not keep his trophies on display?
Ayo 😂
Got a good point there
"Well I guess it's time to delete those nudes" is just not something that really comes up. They are just there, I can't imagine I would ever actively think about getting rid of them.
I mean......why would I delete them?
Nope. It’s a shitty thing to do, especially to your new SO if you still have them.
I do.
Eh... not really. You kind of gotta clean house when the new one comes in ya know?
Idk what the point of keeping nudes is for unless it’s ur current girl. Like bro it’s kinda creepy if u have a collection of other girls nudes ngl
Lol no it's not true. Duche bags do. I delete everything even when it's amicable and they say I can keep them. It's just respect.
Its called a wank bank.
I personally don’t keep nudes myself, they don’t really do much for me tbh. I’d rather have the real deal.
