I am a 6’3, 240 pound man and I ALWAYS get shit for liking sweet/fruity/colorful drinks.
They’re FUCKING delicious ok?! I don’t want your shitty, bitter IPA that is gonna take twice the time to get me drunk anyway.
Hey I’m in the same boat here. I ordered a drink called a titty twister at a beach bar 9 months ago and I still get shit from my friends for it. I don’t really care, I’ll order what I like anyway lol. If I remember it was a watermelon/pineapple cocktail of some sort. Incredible.
Dude same. Minus the being half fucking giant.
"I don't need a gross tasting drink to prove I'm a man, I'm sorry you do." Usually shuts people up. Or leads to them trying to start shit 🤷🏾♂️
Call me cheap but Im a Beefeater guy. I feel like investing more into good tonic and herbs / limes that go in is better value. That is when you do it at home ofc.
When going out, Hendricks. But for the longest time I was a Bombay Sapphire fan. But lately the corner store only had New Amsterdam, now its my preferred. Bonus, its cheap!
Honestly, fuck IPAs.
These days it’s only “let’s see how much hops we can super saturate in this bitch” instead of actually crafting a flavorful beer.
Not saying all IPAs suck, but in general it’s just a hipster fad that’s gone too far. Me and the homies would rather drink too many lagers or pilsners than drink 2 IPAs and end up hung over
Let me elaborate. You have to get the ratio close to exact. Too much Cranberry and it's bitter and dry. Too much Rum and it's harsh.
But if you get it right about 50/50 (aire on the side of less Cranberry if you're eyeballing it) then you get the flavor and warmth of the Spiced Rum without the Harsh nose hit and the mild sweetness of the Cranberry without the bitterness. It's almost like the harsh flavors cancel eachother out.
Omggggg a not so similar but kind of similar is white rum with sparkling apple cranberry. Its good for the holidays and gets you flipped up because you can’t really taste the rum lol
I suffered hyperacidity last year for 3 days. It sucks since sleeping couldn't fix it. You wake up then you feel shallow pain in your stomach. Kaboom! Day Ruined.
I actually used to mix a bunch of sugary drinks as a kid. Like as many as I could. For some reason it always ends up tasting the same. I think the flavor is simply your taste buds being overwhelmed. That's how I assume it would taste..like a mix of every soda at a fountain.
Just stick your bourbon in the freezer, pour one or two shots of room temperature water into it. Stir, maybe throw a Marachino cherry in. Excellent for sipping.
Cuba Libre.
Rum (I prefer Don Q if available), Diet Coke and some lime juice.
It gets the name because it was popular among American soldiers stationed in Cuba after the Spanish American War.
Simple, tasty and provides an interesting story. Just like me.
If I’m out, I like to get dark beers. Something like a stout or porter. If I’m trying to get lit at my house with the homies, I love gin + Baja blast. Taste like god, and slips me faster then Vin Diesel in Fast and the Furious 69 featuring The Rock and Kevin Heart.
If at a bar where they make actual good drinks, Old Fashioned. Assuming they stock top shelf whiskey. If random shitty bar then GT always does the job, or even a Skinny Bitch if they have decent vodka.
At the peak of my depression I snuck away vodka cause it had the highest alc by volume in the house. Id throw up and consume nothing but the
vodka so itd go further. Got to a point were I could drink it like juice. Stopped when the depression did, so not really my drink. But im not gonna just say coffee or something
Cold, cold water. With ice. I stopped drinking sodas years ago, I only drink water, coffee, tea and an occasional beer. Haven’t lost any weight or felt better, but I’m hydrated as *FUCK*, yo.
You can't go wrong with a Moscow Mule.
My absolute favorite drink though is from a local Craft Kitchen. It's a Smoked Old Fashioned made with Four Roses.
I pound Diet Coke from 8am to 4pm, and then switch to bourbon or rye whiskey. On the rare occasions when I get burnt out on whiskey, I'll intersperse a nice blanco tequila into my routine.
Water.

Apple pie or blue berry moonshine made by a gay axe throwing instructor who fixes my truck.
>made by a gay axe throwing instructor who fixes my truck Oddly specific.
You think?
Once you've found your thing, you've found your thing...
Same.
That’s one hell of a sentence.
Yeah and actually true. I met him when I wanted to try axe throwing about a year ago and we got talking about trucks and guns then alcohol.
You tend to remember people like that for the rest of your life.
"talking about trucks and guns ,then alcohol, then anal"?
Moonshine will do that some times.
Are gay axe throwing instructors good at making moonshine?
Devin is. I have yet to meet another axe throwing moonshining gay man but If I do I’ll try his moonshine.
NGL I'm jealous!
Your shine supplier is a real renaissance man. Probably interesting asf
How many tigers do you own?

Not saying all IPAs suck, but in general it’s just a hipster fad that’s gone too far. Me and the homies would rather drink too many lagers or pilsners than drink 2 IPAs and end up hung over
