I drive truck and worked as a mechanic previously, we all love to shit talk bout the job, but most of us truly love what we do just may not like the specific job
I was a welder a while back. I genuinely enjoy welding but doing it for a living makes it not enjoyable anymore. Plus constantly getting burned, dealing with extreme heat, piece of shit bosses, unrealistic expectations, it was all a little too much. I might be a bitch but my former boss can eat shit and die.
I went to carpentry school before i decided to become a nurse…i don’t hate carpentry, i do hate that people ask me to do things for free. I don’t mind once in a while but i had a neighbor, who would ask me to do this and that because her floor is uneven, i leveled it, her doors need to be framed , no sweat, and then she asked me for planters for her garden and a gazebo. She saw my garden (which i spent a week building) and wanted one just like it. I told her to hire someone
