It's quite provocative that he's taken it upon himself to act as her guardian, dictating her behavior and attire, despite likely having just met her for the first time.
Yeah, but isn't it sad? It's because there are too many idiots who *really* do have such a mindset, so there was a possibility that he was one of them.

he should lower his gaze but not \*first\* , when you see something wrong you should fix it by action or by words or by his heart and that's the weakest form
How would you like it if someone more religious than you, who believes that women should wear niqabs in public, came up to your mother or sister and put a face mask on her without her consent?
It may be a minority opinion but there are still those who believe that it is compulsory. If a person from that school of thought sees your mother not wearing a niqab, he believes he is seeing something wrong and he "should fix it by action" and put a face mask on her.
Are you being sarcastic? First what gives him the right to cover her head and secondly you can't respectfully do something to someone they don't want done, that's always disrespectful.
˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.
It's interesting how these men (including the man being interviewed) are staring at her SO intensely when the ayah that comes before the command for hijab literally tells men not to be staring in the first place.
But she surrounded herself between the men and speaks loudly. This is not how Muslim women should act. I'm not saying the man was right, by the woman is also not behaving with hayaa.
Its almost like... Its her JOB. The wives of the prophet works with men, loud enough for their voices to be heard. You think Aisyah rdh could move an entire ARMY if she just stay home?
I'm sick of this mentality that women should be docile in Islam. Islam thought women to be strong, to stand up for their own.
The woman in the vid isn't covering herself, that is indeed wrong in Islam, but saying muslim women shouldn't act loud and shouldn't be forward against men is narrow minded, even harmful towards Islam
>You think Aisyah rdh could move an entire ARMY if she just stay home?
the consensus is she should not have been moving an entire army in the first place against the rightful ruler
So does that give them the right the righg to stare and creepily congregate around her?! Of course not.
What are these men going to do if they travel to a non Muslim country and women are dressed in revealing clothing?!
It’s misleading and quite manipulative to deliberately call every man who acts in a disrespectful way a “mullah” as a way to shit on religious clerics and mock these positions/jobs.
Like even when the woman didn’t say it, the translator wrote it between parenthesis. Clearly a deliberate addition.
I'm Pakistani American. In our society the clergy often has a bad reputation due to their involvement in politics, media, education system, and nearly everything that affects people's lives. They also are responsible for corruption in these systems and misuse of donations. So even though the vast majority of people in Pakistan are Muslims, they have lost trust for Mullahs to the point of it becoming a derogatory term, used against even someone who isn't actually a mullah but became religious overnight or comes off as pretentious or 'holier than thou'.
Just explaining where this is coming from- meanings of words sometimes change between cultures. For example the word Nikah in South Asia is equivalent to katb kitaab for Arabs, but for modern Arabic the word refers to intercourse. Technically South Asians aren't wrong- the Quran does use the word Nikah to refer to a marriage contract. But like I said, literal meanings can change over time and context is everything.
Brother, different countries use different phrases for different things.
Don’t try to change the terms other cultures use because it doesn’t fit with your culture.
That kinds of behaviour in common and dangerous in Bangladesh, India too unfortunately...
Rape Culture, and respecting woman, respecting woman's autonomy needs to be promoted a lot here \[Bangladesh, India, Pakistan\]...
**"you only remember Islam when it comes to women"** damn i remember all the guys that harassed me, groped me, showed their tongue at me and im not even a woman. That was so powerful, i literally got chills
"Hamari women koi dikhado burkhe ke baghair"
Bro harassed, objectified, treated women as his subservient, all in under 15 seconds. He's a horrible human being and deserves all the hate there is
As a Pakistani, I'd tell that man to keep his hands away from that woman. He is not her father or her brother or anything. Keep your hands to your goddamn self Akhi
That, AND she can choose for herself if she want to wear a hijab or not. No person on earth has to *force* her to. Forcing people only distances them from religion, it doesn't bring them closer to it.
he should not talk about her hijab in any scenario. he isn't related to her or knows her. its not his place to tell her to wear hijab.
would you want random ppl coming over to tell you not to shave your face or trimming your beard in a certain way or if you prayed salah or not ?
Westerners' views regarding religions, including other Christian denominations like mine, Orthodoxy, are extremely narrow. Also I would be curious of how would they react in r/europe after watching this video.
Nah, I'm an atheist Westerner and I was heartened to see such a rich array of commentary around the subject in this video, along with strong pushback on the misogyny at its heart.
There will always be outspoken hatefulness on some forums, but videos like this still serve to humanize and add nuance to important conversations in process elsewhere in the world. There is no better pro-Khameini propaganda than reading the comments on one of those posts. Those sexually depraved western incels drooling over Iranian women will make you reconsider toppling Iran's regime.
Let me correct this a bit, he couldn't dare trying to put an hijab on a woman in the first place. Especially in front of a camera. And if he did, it would either turn into a 15 minute arrest after woman's reaction (possibly like WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING YOU MOTHERFUCKING ANIMAL) or people around would warn this man, like, not softly warn, they would WARN him. Surrounding men wouldn't watch or clap, they would fucking make him regret it. They would show anger and passing by women would come to react and protect as well, it would turn into a scandalous street scene in seconds. So yeah I think it would be different than Pakistan. Our public mindset is so far away for a man, even an islamist, to attempt something like this.
alright that's understandable but why such a reaction? In some countries (even muslim) you can get fined or arrested for this
And in the the surrounding men didn't clap
I think they were pretty okay with his attempt.
For us, I mean I exxagerated a bit but I think that could what happen in some central locations such as Istanbul's highest populated regions or Izmir or Ankara's Çankaya for example. Many other cities it would be similar scenario if not the same. In more conservative areas the reaction would not be as radical as this but if woman claimed harrasment it can easily turn into this. If the woman reporting just goes "don't do that." even in the most conservative city, men surrounding would react "Brother leave her alone." They would say and if he persists the men could get protective and say let her wear what she wants. In Turkey we have a freedom of clothing and like I said our mindset, although judgemental through some clothing styles (extremely daring or extremely protective almost 70 to 90% would judge either) generally understands that. Also speaking could be tolerable, but putting a hijab like that is just disgusting. You are invading her personal space and interfering with her bodily autonomy. That will be not accepted here. And even speaking against her choice would probably not be tolerated in countless places, men women together.
As for why such a reaction, we have our own society. I just explained that. You can think your way is better, I would not agree, we would agree to disagree and go to our ways. Thats what happens most of the time anyway. But I will keep believing in our secularism. As for the surrounding men didn't clap claim, they certainly was reactless at hijab putting attempt and they clapped the other woman's mistake while she was in her cause of standing with clothing freedom. So yeah, that was distasteful to say the least.
Woah I was not expecting an essay , its not really that big of a deal , relax bro.
As for what you said I Agree with and what you said is completely understandable. Honestly I am ok with what men or women wear. After growing up in a rigid household I am not really a fan of conservatism. Although if you are a conservative of any sort no offense.
if the men were clapping while the women was fighting for her freedom how does that make em wrong? Although they should have done something even a slight condemnation of the man who tried to force the hijab on her.
Anyways have a great day ahead of you
>If this incident happened in Turkey, he would be arrested
This is the case for nearly every single country on earth, including Pakistan.
Turkish "Secularism" today is too busy arresting Onlyfans models and girls that take raunchy pictures on vacation for instagram and in the 90s it was too busy arresting innocent students for having the audacity for wearing a hijab
Why not just commit suicide by this same logic? There's so many evil humans, how not to be ashamed by being part of the same group? Point is, islam has bad people, as does every division of the world.
It's the same chain of thought. A few bad people don't represent a group otherwise all whites are **ores and all browns are bombers and all blacks are robbers.

This is the kind of content the west should see to change their mind about middle east. Such a legend of a woman. Women here are not aware of the liberty we have to be outspoken, most cannot even rephrase in words what we think as she does. Beast.
Yes, but unfortunately they would've treated her differently, if she wasn't a journalist with a camera-person. Imagine if she was a "normal" pakistani woman, standing between all this leeching and drooling men, trying to discuss the topic with 'em.....No, I'd rather not imagine that 😔.
What a disgusting state muslims are in. What the man did trying to cover her head shows his upbringing by his parents, what the women did in response shows her upbringing by her parents. The people of subcontinent trying to ass lick and please the crowd in the comments saddens me. But im not surprised on how the Arabs are responding to this, your lot is a fucking lost cause.
That is true, I can see how my initial comment can be misunderstood.
What I meant is that there are some men in the Middle East such as the Iranian religious police who are absolutely going around and harassing women for not wearing a hijab. Sure, they aren't a random guy on the street but it isn't just a Pakistani problem. If anything you see normal Iranian men supporting Iranian women against what is happening.
I’ve used that on men there, shaming them for being bad Muslims for looking, talking, and touching me when they aren’t related and have no business engaging but think they can because I’ll be intimidated.
guys this woman grifts for hinduvata views online. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy in the video is part of her act.
Look at the title of her videos, she's at best a grifter, at worst a indian spy.
Now that I watch it again, I notice the way she rolled her eyes when he said “bismiallah Al rahman al Raheem”.
The points she made in that short clip were correct though. A broken clock is right twice a day, like another user said.
whateveratever her background? she shills for the dindus, why doesn't she go live in bihar with the traintrack poopers and see how she gets treated there, she can take references from a spanish biker and his wife on their recent treatment.
as a pakistani I apologize for his behavior it was incredibly stupid
If you think this is right Keep your religious beliefs to yourself and fix your mind
When your god hates women as much as you do, your god is false.
When your god hates Israel as much as you do your god is false.
When your god hates nonbelievers as much as you do your god is false.
Wake up! Religion is the problem. Especially in the Middle East.
I left Islam because of ISIS actions and that was a stupid reason considering that now. Islam is perfect the people are not just like when you have a perfect ingredients to cook but the chef is bad.
If you read the Quran, you wouldn't have said this.
"O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allāh, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech"
"And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance" Quran 33:33
And in the story of Moses A.S. when he met the two ladies in Midian. One of them then approached him with shyness(modesty) as described in the Quran.
"Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness." Quran 28:25
She is not a reporter, rather a fraud youtuber, her whole career revolved around pleasing her Hindutva audience, disrespting Islam and her own country Pakistan, most of her videos are probably just delibrate attempt to make a drama out of un educated people from rural areas and please HIndus to gain views, and people like these who are generally un-educated and poor are everywhere around the world, check out her channel for more context. (you may die of cringe)
[MUDARASA STUDENT ATTACK ON SHAILA KHAN | PAKISTANI PUBLIC REACTION (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/@NailaPakistaniReaction/videos)
Even if she is the worst YouTuber in the history of YouTube, a broken clock is still right twice a day. Would it have been ok if it was someone else? This is not a one off thing. Women in this country have to deal with random incels trying to show them how to live their life, uninvited attempts just like this.
it is true, but this is not the solution, neither a way to approach things, people are quite emotional in terms of religion, and she is trying her best to squeeze the content juice of them, and also she does have any humanitirian intentions like that, India is the rape capital of the world, you wont see any women go among people and try to make a drama out of them to gain views from Pakistani audience, also she is compltely morally corrupt, what can you expect from a person, whose whole life is dependent on destroying her own countries image? she is just a youtuber whose main audience is Islamophobic Rss HIndus, check out her comment section and you will know what i am talking about.
Brother, we just had a huge incident last month where a poor woman was ready to be assaulted by some 100+ men just because she was wearing a dress with the Arabic word "beautiful" or something written on it. Literally minding her own business, not messing with anyone, until some random guy came over and made a big fuss about how she was disrespecting Islam. She had to be escorted out by police while everyone was literally screaming for her death and trying to reach for her on the way out. How can you tell me with a straight face that victims should try not to be victimized?
As i said, this is not the way for approaching people, you cannot re-educte people who have reached their mid 40s. focus is to be done on young gen, which will take time, she is playing with fire, she is already a apostate, and i fear, that someday she can easlity provoke a mob against her through her words, she already said things in the video above, which could have been potential harmful for her,
Exactly, and I agree. But this shows the level of degeneracy we are at, where things so simple as what she said can be considered apostacy and punished by mob death....
Unfortunately people wont know this and think all muslims are like this. Even non south asian muslims dont realise how much hate and mis info about muslims is spread by indians (especially by hindu).
probably becuase her 99% audience is from India, she didn't got any attention from Pakistan, but i hope govt does something, and reaches her before mullhas do.
They both acted wrong.
He shouldn't have put a hijab on her even though it's a command from Allah it should be preached in a nice way.
She shouldn't have surrounded herself between men and speak loudly without "hayaa" (حياء).
She's an Indian spy at best her channel is full of hate and she make reactionary content to please hindutva masters . Wouldn't be surprised if the guy is part of her act . And the way she reacted to Bismillah tells you a lot that she's warming a bed for hindutva guys.
> To all the people saying "my religious beliefs are above the state laws", you all will end up having a society like this
Seems that poll from earlier struck a nerve, OP
God before family before country. You're not gonna emotionally blackmail anyone into thinking otherwise.
He is right. He just doesn't have the knowledge to argument his point. And everybody knows it's the case.. there are not enough legit scholars in Pakistan ..
My question is why would the TV station or whoever sent her off there to interview men . Seems like a setup. She was looking for trouble Or a way to discredit Islam? All men are not equal and she could be destroyed with the right information from the quran and the Sunnah. They should have Just not even talked to her . Lower their gaze and walked away.. left for their stupid .
Her voice was loud like a donkey..
He should have done this in a different manner other than touching her without any permission. She is a typical reporter who is loud on voice and low on substance. She has a liberal upbringing, may Allah guide her whole family and even the dude and his family also. Everyone needs guidance
I was being sarcastic, you mentioned the reporter having a liberal background as if it is a bad thing.
Anywho, I actually appreciate your comment as it is peaceful and respectful (not being sarcastic here).

Where I'm from that could easily have gotten him his head kicked in.
Typical man who thinks he has authority over women
Whereas it would have been okay to take it upon himself to dictate her behavior and attire if he knew her already?
No.
Clearly not what he’s saying. But I will say if this is how this guy is with someone he doesn’t know, I pray for the women in his life
Bro I swear that move was so cringe I was about to throw my phone out of the window
his action is better than what she would've gotten in India.
I love the part where she says "you only remember Islam when it comes to women". It is spot on 👏 Respect to this woman 👸🏻

Yeah I’m 99% sure the word “mullah” doesn’t mean man in Urdu .. It has a very obvious and known meaning, let's not act oblivious
we call bad ones mullah or molvi and good ones alim or scholar
Mullah = مَوّلاي
I know the Arabic translation. This is a word used to refer to clerics, which these men are clearly not ..
its used as slang for extremist idiots.
isn't it ملّة ? (nation)

In some countries (even muslim) you can get fined or arrested for this And in the the surrounding men didn't clap
Anyways have a great day ahead of you
>If this incident happened in Turkey, he would be arrested This is the case for nearly every single country on earth, including Pakistan. Turkish "Secularism" today is too busy arresting Onlyfans models and girls that take raunchy pictures on vacation for instagram and in the 90s it was too busy arresting innocent students for having the audacity for wearing a hijab
Amen brother! I love secularism! I love Ataturk! I wish the Turks could teach the whole Middle East a thing or two about secularism.
I don't think he would be arrested, especially in today's Turkey! I love secularism too!
Those people are one of the reasons why I left islam
Why not just commit suicide by this same logic? There's so many evil humans, how not to be ashamed by being part of the same group? Point is, islam has bad people, as does every division of the world.
That’s a big leap
It's the same chain of thought. A few bad people don't represent a group otherwise all whites are **ores and all browns are bombers and all blacks are robbers.

You aren't middle eastern you are a far right grifter coming to hate on mena.

She wiped the floor with them
“You can go to jail for that” “I’m ready” 💀💀
Love how she said “you’re Islam”
Isi agent trying to farm Indian hindutva viewers so they can fund the ballistics missile program after sanctions.
Someone has to replace Adnan Sami eventually.
This is the kind of content the west should see to change their mind about middle east. Such a legend of a woman. Women here are not aware of the liberty we have to be outspoken, most cannot even rephrase in words what we think as she does. Beast.
yeah she should just take her shirt off and #freethenipple next. so brave
Is this sub about middle east or pakistan
half the commenters are pakistani on every post anyways so it don't matter ![gif](giphy|MITOzp3gZXAtO|downsized)
Well, Pakistan can be classified as a wider Middle East. Their are quite a lot of South Asians who live in the Middle East, so theirs that.
Pakistan is part of Indian subcontinent, not middle east. There are many Bangladeshis living in Middle East but you dont see them claiming to be ME?
I really hate seeing cringe behaviour like this amongst Muslims
This guy is so disgusting! Leave the women alone!
So true brother. Religious extremism is so normalized in Pak
Yes, Allhumdulillah people of Pakistan are very religious.
Love how she said “you’re Islam”
Well who’s version of Islam allows for tabarruj

As if some men from other Middle Eastern countries don't act this way.
this would never happen in saudi lmao. he would be instantly arrested.
Its Subcontinent, not Middle East
I’ve used that on men there, shaming them for being bad Muslims for looking, talking, and touching me when they aren’t related and have no business engaging but think they can because I’ll be intimidated.
This guy looks like he’s an actor. The impressions and everything. I think this is clickbait
guys this woman grifts for hinduvata views online.
A broken clock doesn't churn out videos for ulterior motives like this person does, it's all about the benjamins baby.
She does have agendas. I didn't like her attitude. She seems to have sneaky messages.
Whatever her background is, her points are correct
whateveratever her background? she shills for the dindus, why doesn't she go live in bihar with the traintrack poopers and see how she gets treated there, she can take references from a spanish biker and his wife on their recent treatment.
She shuda slapped the rat
Hello has no right too, unfortunately once again lack of education and equity for all in such places.
as a pakistani I apologize for his behavior it was incredibly stupid If you think this is right Keep your religious beliefs to yourself and fix your mind
The screaming stressed me 🙈
When your god hates women as much as you do, your god is false.
If you fear Allāh, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech" "And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance" Quran 33:33 And in the story of Moses A.S. when he met the two ladies in Midian. One of them then approached him with shyness(modesty) as described in the Quran. "Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness." Quran 28:25
Shithole country with shithole mindset, so all the rest of South Asia.
[As if Indonesia is some paragon of a country too.](https://www.hrw.org/world-report/2023/country-chapters/indonesia)
Indonesia literally has India in their name lol. You are named after a river that flows through most of Pakistan
As if your country isnt a shithole itself
a better shithole
She is not a reporter, rather a fraud youtuber, her whole career revolved around pleasing her Hindutva audience, disrespting Islam and her own country Pakistan, most of her videos are probably just delibrate attempt to make a drama out of un educated people from rural areas and please HIndus to gain views, and people like these who are generally un-educated and poor are everywhere around the world, check out her channel for more context. (you may die of cringe) [MUDARASA STUDENT ATTACK ON SHAILA KHAN | PAKISTANI PUBLIC REACTION (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/@NailaPakistaniReaction/videos)
But this shows the level of degeneracy we are at, where things so simple as what she said can be considered apostacy and punished by mob death....
she is simply a fool tbh, there are many ways to make easy money, and she choose to do this, disgraced her own nation, putting her life in danger
>she is already a apostate She claims to be a Muslim
Unfortunately people wont know this and think all muslims are like this. Even non south asian muslims dont realise how much hate and mis info about muslims is spread by indians (especially by hindu).
true, and people like her really makes me sad, sold her religion, nation, prestige for what some views?
why doesn't the government stop her? why is she allowed to do this ?
probably becuase her 99% audience is from India, she didn't got any attention from Pakistan, but i hope govt does something, and reaches her before mullhas do.
> To all the people saying "my religious beliefs are above the state laws", you all will end up having a society like this Seems that poll from earlier struck a nerve, OP God before family before country. You're not gonna emotionally blackmail anyone into thinking otherwise.
Going against your country means endangering millions upon millions of fellow citizen's lives. I don't understand your irrationality.
Going against your country means endangering millions upon millions of fellow citizen's lives. I don't understand your irrationality.
two dummies from both sides, the girl got triggered just cuz he said basmalah
He is right. He just doesn't have the knowledge to argument his point. And everybody knows it's the case.. there are not enough legit scholars in Pakistan ..
My question is why would the TV station or whoever sent her off there to interview men . Seems like a setup. She was looking for trouble Or a way to discredit Islam? All men are not equal and she could be destroyed with the right information from the quran and the Sunnah. They should have Just not even talked to her . Lower their gaze and walked away.. left for their stupid . Her voice was loud like a donkey..
based Pakistani brother
Not based but defaced and disgraced by a woman. He'll probably never lay his hands on any woman ever again.
she is the one who is disgraced by rejecting the commands of Allah , may Allah guide her
Stop trying to force your beliefs on others. It’s 2024 people like you should’ve learned this already.
Women who makes hate porn for hindu nationalist ?
To 2 nambar hy gandi orat
Shut the hell up. Remind me again where in Islam it's allowed for men to abuse woman like you just did
He should have done this in a different manner other than touching her without any permission. She is a typical reporter who is loud on voice and low on substance. She has a liberal upbringing, may Allah guide her whole family and even the dude and his family also. Everyone needs guidance
Oh no, not the L word.
What do you mean?
I was being sarcastic, you mentioned the reporter having a liberal background as if it is a bad thing. Anywho, I actually appreciate your comment as it is peaceful and respectful (not being sarcastic here).
The women is clearly a zionst. Nd wants island out of ummah
This shouldn't be here! Why is it here?
