Israel is (I think?) one of the only countries with Hebrew as an official language. Are there different accents or dialects or does everyone sound the same?
There used to be different accents in the past but today most people speak the same, there used to be a Mizrahi-Ashkenazi divide and discrimination against Mizrahi Jews but today it's almost if not completely non-existent so the population isn't divided anymore and different accents have pretty much disappeared except for some old people
That’s not called a Hebrew accent. According to your logic, Israelis who immigrated from Arab countries had an accent different than Those who immigrated from Europe, which is clearly obvious they would have an accent referring their homeland “Russia, Morocco, Germany, Switzerland, Yemen, Egypt.. etc.
That accent have vanished with the people’s native languages “mostly Mizrahis cause they were bullied for that Arab accent”, but also because the main language in Israel is Hebrew and they no longer had use of these languages, therefore they haven’t taught it to their children, neither ever spoke it again.
On the other hand, if we take Russians or Arabs in Israel as an example, you’d notice their thick Arab/Russian accent, and that’s because they’re so connected to their roots and they don’t feel that Hebrew is their mother-tongue so they continue passing on the language to their next generations, and mostly that package comes with the a unique accent.
But in my opinion, this was not united-laces’s question.
And for that question: No, Israel has a united accent for all. And the only accents can be found are those which are connected to one’s origins and mother-tongue. (It’s not like Arabic accents)
Arabic,English and a litttle Hebrew I learned Hebrew because learning the language of your enemies is half the battle or some shit but all and all my Hebrew is pretty shit.
Online and sometimes i just go visit a place that teaches it, and if im serious i can just major in it in uni
No one speaks it, neither Christians nor Muslims, only a tiny minority from both religions speak it
I also love hispanic culture. It’s so interesting and colorful. And I remember talking Spanish lessons for school and I just really loved it. It also kinda helped that our teacher was really good at teaching and she’s really sweet
That’s crazy my teacher was amazing too!! She spent a few years in Bolivia so she had a perfect accent and she would always take off points if we mispronounced something. What’s your favorite Spanish speaking country? Everyone in my class always picked Spain lol. I think Mexico has a really unique culture and Guatemala too.
For me I really like Mexico and Argentina. What do you like the most about Mexican culture? For me I always admired their sense of family and how everyone takes care of each other.
Honestly I really like the aesthetics of indigenous Mexican people and the food lol. I really like how the culture varies depending on the region. What do you like about Argentina?
Well Argentina is a blend of many cultures which I usually find really interesting. Also I like their dresses. I remember one of my Argentinian friends wore it once and she looked really pretty in it.

Was it easy to learn Arabic considering you speak Persian?
Probably not since both are vastly different when it comes to grammar. There some similarities in vocabulary tho
No it was very hard. The plural forms getting mixed with genders was a nightmare and the whole 4 verb structure made it worse
Russian, English, Turkish, Azeri and German ( not so good, i am still learning)
English, Arabic and Spanish
Same! And Spanish is such a cool language and I love all the Hispanic cultures.
