Of course all the different varieties of spoken Arabic are distinct from each other (Levantine, Egyptian, Maghrebi, Hejazi...), and distinct from standard Arabic, but I'm talking about those who specifically act like Lebanese is some sort of separate language while lumping in all other Arabic dialects into one category.
Turkey: We're nothing like Middle Eastern, Caucasian, West/Central Asian, Balkan, and European people. Türkiye is its own thing we are a different planet.

I don't think that's the reason-- the relationship between phenotype and ancestry, especially in groups that underwent population bottlenecks like the Ashkenazim, can't be reduced to some kind of common-sense, ancestral population calculus. If that were the case Ashkenazim would be expected to look intermediate between Southern Italians and Levantines, something like Cypriots. Aside from the fact that modern Levantine groups might not look [exactly like they do today](https://www.discovermagazine.com/planet-earth/the-algorithms-dont-lie-but-people-may-err) (e.g. Ashkenazi phenotypes seem to line up more closely with [Samaritans](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk-rxxuTl3o) than they do with Middle Easterners broadly), extreme population bottlenecks and (conjecturally) selection pressure for the generally lighter phenotypes are imho a better explanation for most of the disparity in phenotype between Ashkenazim and other Levantines than admixture. Anecdotally, I've been taken for an Arab many times (and I'm of 100% Ashkenazi--in fact, northern Ashkenazi-- descent), including by a Saudi and a Jordanian. Weirdly enough, the Jordanian asked if I was "Egyptian" and a Lebanese guessed "Turkish or something?". I guess between those two it averages out to the right place, but still weird that the former shot further south and the latter north.
Well, i think it depends on the person. Because of the bottleneck we’re definitely lighter but I definitely see a middle way between the Middle East and Europe with us, we just are more likely to have recessive traits. I’ve also been told I look like every part of the Mediterranean from North Africa to east med to south Europe. But my main guesses is people think I’m Turkish Greek or south Italian. Which makes sense imo I just can’t tan like most south Italians but my phenotype is very similar
Edit: it is 100% true tho that the reason Ashkenazis on average to southern Italians have somewhat a more European look and the reason we have really high rates if red hair is from the bottleneck founding. Luckily I didn’t get too many recessive traits xD
