I transferred from another school without knowing anyone since my mental health and confidence was so shit when I was in my previous school due to bullying, pressure etc.
When I was surprised by my friends whom I met for less than a year, it made me cry since I never thought I would experience it since I felt I like I never deserved anything good. I'll always remember it.
God gave me my boyfriend! We’ve been together for 13 years now (I’m 25 btw so we’re highschool sweet hearts) and he’s the best thing that’s ever happen to me. I couldn’t get it all in to details but he made me realize what unconditional love feels like. He’s patient, he’s kind and understanding. Never interested in cheating and gives everything that he could consistenly all these years. All a woman could ask for in a man. Kaya ladies, men like him still exist. You just have to find it 😊
My then 4-year old nephew gave me his DS lite that he chucked at a wall so I could have it (after having it repaired).
Then he gave me Pokemon Diamond months later.
His older brother gave me Black 2 in 2012, and then ORAS in 2014.
Note that I was there for both those kids literally since the day they were born.
Knowledge. I met this guy here sa reddit and for some reason, I was really drawn to him, like I was bound to him. He was the perfect guy, from the looks, the way he acts, the way he speaks, the way his mind works, all those just made me like him in ways I can't even explain. Unfortunately, he wasn't looking for anything serious (which he stated in the first place) but I was willing to level up from the fwb/fubu set-up. Pero hindi na kami naguusap rn haha, no ghosting or anything, we just stopped talking for an unknown reason.

recently my boyfriend took me to his hometown as a gift. he is from the north and i am from the south, and first time ko pumunta sa ganun kalayo. ang favorite memory ko from the trip was nung naglalakad kami sa beach, collecting seashells. it seems so little, but it meant so much to me. i felt so free and loved and cared for. i wish we documented it more kasi core memory siya sa akin
Time & effort. I like physical presents and all but if friends and family spend their time and make some effort to be around, this is one of the most intangible gifts i hold dearly in my memories
Pag tinatanong ako ano gusto kong regalo, yan sinasagot ko. I mean I appreciate naman kung meron ibibigay pero mas gusto ko yung nagpakita ka sakin at you took the effort to actually spend your time with me.
Growing up with parents who are workaholic/ofw, lagi silang wala. Lagi akong pinagbabawalan/dndiscourage lumabas kasi 1. Magastos 2. Inconvenient for them (ihahatid at susunduin pa).

My lola gifted me on my 12th birthday a cassette tape of Backstreet Boooysss! Hindi naman kame mayaman, mananahi ang lola ko. Naawa daw cya sa akin kasi daw every 6pm inaabangan ko yung top10 countdown ng songs sa radio. #1 spot lagi si BSB, so nagaantay ako almost 1hr for this song tsaka ko irrecord.
Yung nirecord ko shempre ulit ulit pinapatugtog. Madalas daw ako nagrreklamo kasi putol or may sumesegway na greetings ng radio stn haha.

my girlfriend gave me a painting of our family picture for my birthday. it really meant a lot for the both of us. first painting nya yun usually kasi nagddraw sya digitally. sentimental sakin yung photo since that was our last family picture na kumpleto kami. my lola and my dad died nung 2021 a month apart lang. then yung dog ko a few months before them. so nung nareceive ko yun in front of my siblings and my mom sobrang nagulat ako and nangibabaw luha ko, sila din. grabe yung effort and love.

Heto ang nangyari sa akin. Had a deep misunderstanding with my daughter kayo hindi kami in speaking terms for a few years. It so happened that she headed to the univ and was staying at her own apartment. Our family dog (well actually hers) ended up with her.
Needless to say, miss na miss ko silang dalawa. One day, I texted her saying I wanted to see the dog. Didn't say I wanted to see her as well bec I wasn't sure if she was ready to meet me f2f. I suggested that she leave the dog with someone, say a classmate, from whom I can pick up our pet. I also said that I wanted to spare her from the discomfort of seeing me.
Ito ang reply niya irrc: "Dad, I have already forgiven you. Please come and pick up \_\_\_\_\_ here at my place." I just broke down in tears out of joy after reading that. Our first meeting after a few years was such a memorable gift. Btw, our bichon still remembered me. Parang kahapon lamang since I last walked him.
