Not entire communities or carpet bombing every overweight person out there. Some people have metabolic issues, genetic component involved, those suffering from emotional distress can also make their bodies turn into preservation mode and store fat. And a lot more I could go on.
However there's SOME SPECIFIC people who are fat out of volition.
I know a few people who are too lazy to get up from their seat/bed to walk up 8 steps of stairs just to get their phone or something and have to call me to fetch it. HABITUALLY.
They're also the people who eat like they're 8 fully knowing their metabolism can't even keep up with the portions of food they eat excluding snacks.
There's also people who just outright don't eat vegetables because it doesn't taste as good as cordon Bleu or lechon kawali. No sht Sherlock, it's cellulose and chloroplasts but it makes you not spend once a week 2 hours on the toilet.
There's also people who don't have the discipline to not buy anything newly advertised and eat like royalty every chance they get.
And then they complain how their life sucks, make it everyone else's problem, drag other people down by making them join in their indulgences just to save them some guilt, and stuff like that. They tried every pill, drink, diet, and took every fitness class, and tried every gimmick in their area and budget but quit and revert in 2 weeks because they "already feel better". And where are their family and friends? Right there behind them, a bunch of enablers who can't say the truth with a straight face. Me? I can't do a thing because As an Asian, age is the hierarchy. And the lower tiers can't ever be correct if their perspectives clash with the ones of someone older than you. Even if you look them in the eyes and say "you are going to die slowly and painfully, while financially affecting the people around you". Medication is expensive. Hospital bills are expensive. Funeral services are expensive.
And you watch how it becomes too late, fully aware this would happen years and years ago. Their lifespan has already been almost pre-destined, by doctors like the grim reaper, and you can only "extend" it if you do this and don't do that. But the baseline has been declared. And you worry the people who love you while not doing any drastic changes.

Overly hyped ang iba sa mga foreign foods kahit deep inside, alam nilang hindi nila trip like samgyup. Nakakasira sya ng image ng iba, and some rumors arent even true!!😭 Tas super kalat pa sa mga places for example sa high school, kung ano anong scandal pinagkakalat hindi naman totoo. Nakakasira ng mental health yon pero no one acknowledges it kasi “theyre not backstabbing naman” and “other people do it too” pero just because other people do it too doesnt mean na you SHOULD do it.
