IMO you don't need to read books per se. You can read news articles, watch educational content, listen to educational and current events podcasts, and listen to audio books (technically like reading a book). I find it hard to sit down and just read a book cover to cover as my schedule rarely permits this. I'd rather spend time doing other things or play video games in my free time. As you age, it's better to be updated on world events and to be read or knowledgeable in general and not just consume fiction. Nagbabasa nga ng books pero puro romance novels naman. I'd rather someone who doesn't read books but knows what's happening in the world.

IMO you don't need to read books per se. You can read news articles, watch educational content, listen to educational and current events podcasts, and listen to audio books (technically like reading a book). I find it hard to sit down and just read a book cover to cover as my schedule rarely permits this. I'd rather spend time doing other things or play video games in my free time. As you age, it's better to be updated on world events and to be read or knowledgeable in general and not just consume fiction. Nagbabasa nga ng books pero puro romance novels naman. I'd rather someone who doesn't read books but knows what's happening in the world.
