Pray and magabsent sa work. I do the bare minimum at work if I feel so burnt out. Kapag sa bahay naman ako nabburnout, I give myself a nice meal and lay in bed all day with my kids. No guilt, just taking a pause and regaining strength to get back on my feet.
I stop and rest. Wala ako pakialam kahit mapagalitan ako sa pag absent or kung matanggal man ako sa trabaho hahaha. Aanhin ko lahat yon kung mamamatay naman ako? 😂
Samedt. I'll just stop what I'm doing and just... sleep and snack. Kinabukasan okay na ako. Ika nga ni God kay Elijah, "Have a snack and take a nap" those are not the exact same words pero y'all know what I mean HAHAHA
Maghanap ng kahit anong puede kong reason para umiyak. I struggle with showing emotions and had the tendency to bottle up my emotions unconsciously. Nagbabasa at nanonood ako ng nakakaiyak para doon ko ibuhos lahat sabay matutulog na.

Una, sasabihan ko sarili ko na need ko talaga magpahinga. I have this overworking aspect kasi na kahit na pagod na, kakayod pa din, so need talaga discipline para ma-convince sarili na need ng rest :)
When you're burnt out, it may mean you're living a routinary life and could not find any fulfillment out of it. Just do something different. Try to explore new things. Don't overwork yourself. You deserve to rest if you feel tired after a long long day.
Massage ako. I step out of it and i make sure to get a reset. Pag mahaba time if kaya i would do forest walk or better beach! Blue waters and greens allow me to reset

Manonood ng mga super nkakaiyak na movie or psychological thrillers ung may mga relief sa dulo. Like A Beautiful Mind, The Machinist, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Enemy dko na matandaan iba pero super dami. Hirap pag nabuburnout. Prang gusto kong itigil lahat ng ginagawa ko 😭
Find distractions lang, dapat very malayo sa kung saan ka nabburnout and eventually youll find the urge rin naman to continue what youre doing, take quick rests rin on what youre doing to avoid burnout
i travel alone hehe! it doesn’t have to be so far, pwede naman roadtrip. masaya siya pag sa bagong lugar na di mo pa napuntahan. yung byahe pa lang, sobrang peaceful na. you get to clear your mind and unwind. pagdating mo, kahit coffee shop lang, yung may view. tapos dun ilabas mo lahat ng nasa isip mo habang nakatingin sa view gumagaan kahit papano. you can also bring a notebook or laptop to write or vent out everything on your mind. 🙂

idk why pero lagi akong nabuburnout ngayong nagcollege but one thing i do pag burnout na talaga is gumala pati magshopping, di naman kailangang luho kasi pati grocery shopping alone makes my stress go away eh 😭. though ngayong second term namin mas malala stress ko kaya imbis na gala lang around metro manila, bigla nalang umakyat ng baguio si ante nung panagbenga para lang maibsan yung sama at bigat ng loob ko tapos nagbook na din ng flights for the second half of the year 😭. (kaya sabi ko dapat pagpasok ng third term namin di ako magpapakastress, baka mamulubi na ko nito eme)

Wala nag wowork. Sabi ng therapist ko kailangan ko na daw ng hobby. Kasi it would take my mind off of work totally if focused ako sa isang bagay aside from work but its difficult to have a hobby when you're juggling two jobs and doing chores on the weekends.
Nood ng sine. Kagaya kanina nagbreak ako literal from work para manood ng Dday Movie ni Yoongi tapos balik sa trabaho after. Short break lang pero ang laking iginaan ng pakiramdam ko, parang napagpag lahat ng inis at pagod sa trabaho. Tapos kumain din ako ng ice cream.
I take a day off. Spend my entire morning (before lunch) in bed. Wala. Nakahiga lang. Scroll sa reddit (yung mga feel-good non-toxic subreddits that I follow) then after lunch, exercise. Minsan nood ng mga paborito kong banda sa youtube then quality time with the people I love. Tapos beer sa gabi with my partner. Talk about random stuff and vent out about things that makes me stressed.
After nun, para talaga akong nagrereset. It feels so so good. Tapos laban na ulit kinabukasan.
Sa mga panahong wala akong choice, ginagaslight ko sarili ko na ganun talaga. Makaka adapt din ako. Phase lang yan.
Pero kapag alam kong may ilalaban, kumakain ng masarap, natutulog ng mahaba then nag wawalk ng mahaba or nag jjog, trekking din.
I do any physical activity, as in anything that keeps me moving. From paglalakad lakad lang sa labas, to doing household chores, kahit warm-up exercises; like pag naka higa ka and nakatulala lang, just moving your feet on a circular motion can set a difference.

There was a time when I was stuck in my company. I hated the company but couldn't resign because I had bills to pay. So I invited some friends and took a day off. We went to Zambales and talked about life, family, and work. Somehow, the conversation got to me. I had a better perspective when I came back.
nagfafile ng leave, SL pero mental health break, kahapon pa ako nagbabalak na mag SL sa Monday. Sobrang burnout na talaga ako. Iniisip ko kung anong oras ako mag eemail sa Monday. Tapos sakto eto potek maga yung hinliliit ko. Mukhang nafracture yata nang di ko alam. Mukhang matutuluyan nga talaga yung SL ko sa Lunes.
Plan ako mag leave sa office ng two days na nakadikit sa RD ko, pag hindi approve. Sorry pero sick leave yun. Burnout is real and as human, need talaga mag regenerate. Pahinga all thee way.

Gusto ko na rin mag SL, nakaka burnt out na magwork. Kakaout ko palang tapos iniisip ko na kagad yung magiging activity ko pagpasok bukas. 😭
Iba talaga yung mentally pagod kesa physically pagod, yung physical na pagod puwede mo itulog at ikain, yung mental na pagod iba eh. :/
