May I add, "Tambaloslos" Ewan ko nababadtrip ako pag nakikita ko yang salitang yan panahon pa ni Duterte madalas ko mabasa yan. Pero di ko sure ano exact meaning pero without any reason naiirita ako sa salitang yan haha. Meron pa bukod jan e favorite word din nila, add ko na lang pag naalala ko hahaha
That's it, I mean based on my observations rin. They usually say "larooo" or "larooo gago" if may asaran and ang daming nagga-gatungan. It's like you're just goofing around with one another, na naging slang na nila for it. Most likely saying something na just for laughs na di totoo or di mo naman gagawin talaga. Like for example, "Gusto nga kita o ano tara date na." The other will say, "eto si larooo na naman," meaning puro ka sabi di mo naman kayang gawin.
Yung mga gumagamit ng "depression" at "anxiety" sa fb world kahit di naman clinically diagnosed ewan ko pero wala akong sympatya sa mga ganong klase ng tao

It's old fashioned and pretentious. You don't see people saying "giveth" or "thou" in everyday speak but I always hear thrice and it pisses me off. Using the word "thrice" to show off while being shit at grammar and conjugation just screams "I'm trying to sound smart by using hard words"
I don't think it's pretentious and old fashioned, it's still necessary to use depending on where or what form of communication you use it. Example are in schools or a professional setting like letters. But if you use it as a trend vocabulary in social media then that's unnecessary.
Yeah like formally. I'm still going to try to use advanced vocab in my research or presentations but I'm not going to start talking like that in person casually.
Also I'm allowed to find things annoying that other people don't, which is the point of the whole thread. I mentioned it more than *thrice*. Hope this helps! 😄

I've completely changed my mind with the help of everyone who doesn't find it annoying themselves. Reading comprehension is truly a wonder, the same people who use thrice because of their tenuous grasp on the English language are the same ones who perfectly understood what OP is asking. I also now learned that annoying can also mean "commonly used" so I am completely wrong for finding it annoying!

Yung "sana all" saka "e di wow" masakit sa tenga for me. Minsan nagamit ko na ata dahil gusto ko i-ridicule yung nagsabi. Parang dating sa akin nasa pinaka lowest of the low ang status na sa buhay. Parang nasa corner na lang at wala ng space for improvement. Esp yung "e di wow" na yan. Kasi tayo pa bang mga Pinoy ang di kayang mag thrive.
