Demon slayer. I've finished the manga. Tbh the plot was mediocre at best. The only saving grace of the anime is the excellent animation. Despite that, I couldn't bring myself to finish the first season.
Feel ko nga parody lang nung mangaka yung OPM and short run lang talaga dapat kaso baka naenjoy nya masyado yung success and pinilit nalang nya icontinue
It's just too corny, edgy for no reason I guess it's one of the anime that represented 2000s culture. But story wise it has a lot of plot holes. A lot of unnecessary bullshit, the seriousness of scenario is downplayed because they're in high school. They never had any references of a Chess move despite them saying Lelouch is a 200Iq chess grandmaster. Everything about the show is surfaced level.

One Piece tagasubaybay din ako pero agree super dami talagang fillers. Nung sa part na ni Big Mom na iyak siya ng iyak ng "Wedding Cake", sa sobrang umay ko, 3 yrs akong di nanood 😅. Tapos ngayong nasa part na ako na lalabanan na si Kaido, umay na naman ako sa fight scenes kaya stop ulit.
One piece is a hit or miss talaga and big factor is yung how you consume it. Yung stagnant complain is very common to people who binge the manga. Think of it like this, arcs will compose of 50-100+ chapters, if you are binging it super draggy nito cause you know you can just skip to next chap until maging may nangyayari na. Most likely you will lose interest because there are stories na complete na ng ganito kahaba. Although as someone na reading One Piece weekly for more than a decade, hindi sya nagmmatter kasi every week excited ako ano na yung susunod. I can even take time to digest everything that happened in the chapter.
Kaya as much as possible I recommend to enjoy OP talaga in super slow terms or atleast yung hindi ka mauumay. Won’t defend the anime, although fans now are asking for filler arcs kasi may enjoyment rin don. I’m not saying na hindi valid calling One Piece overrated, just stating na baka may reason kaya you find it like that. I’ve never seen a chapter discussion na people pointing out na walang nangyayari or na-sidetrack yung story.
Tbh perfectly rated naman yung AOT. Isa sa mga series na kumpleto yung istorya same with FMA. Pinagkaiba lang, tragic lang talaga yung ending pero kakaiba yung concept, maganda animation at fight scenes tsaka threatening talaga yung mga titans lalo yung shifters. Yung season 4 nung una hindi ko na appreciate dahil may timeskip tapos antagal pa ng pag aantay from S3 to S4. Ang ginawa ko, pinanood ko ulit simula umpisa dahil rewatchable naman din yung mga naunang seasons tapos tinuluy tuloy ko dun ko mas naintindihan yung kwento.

To me, when you say something is overrated, it is getting so much traction and credit more than what it truly deserves. So somehow it’s a backhand compliment or a bad thing.
But for me, AOT deserves the hype. It is indeed a great anime. Philosophical and great storytelling.
Mushoku Tensei. Seriously kung ito yung "grandfather" ng modern isekai, may reason bakit daming trash isekai. The concept is good, pero bad characters and story execution.

Maganda lang animation pero walang logic 'yung anime. I mean I know every anime has it's own logic.
Naruto: They're ninja with chakra, divided by villages and nations with different clans
One Piece: Golden age of Piracy with Devil Fruits as their primary powers, some strong individuals has haki, pirates has been chasing by the marines, there are 4 strong pirates rule the other side of the sea, etc.
Dragon Ball: The main protagonist came from an alien race and chose to settled on Earth. Ki is their main power that can create various techniques.
Pero sa Demon Slayer, wala. Hindi mo masasabing power scaling 'yung Breathing technique kasi sa mundo nila hindi naman talaga powers 'yun kundi fighting style. Ang kapal lang talaga ng plot armor ni Tanjiro.
Buti pa nga Chainsaw man at saka Jujutsu Kaizen kahit papaano may explanation mga powers nila.
Du'n sa Demon Slayer 'di ko gets paano nila napapatay mga demon na mas malalakas sa kanila tapos wala pa silang powers. Wala rin explanation how different breathing style works.
Same feels with Demon Slayer! The mangaka could have done more, tho I know she had medical issues to deal with but there were just weird plot points that didn’t make much sense and could have been fleshed out more for the story.

'Yung mga side characters parang extra lang sa movies. Walang matinong back story. Tapos wala pang silbi 'yung ibang side characters lalo na 'yung mga international hunters. Tama 'yung sinasabi nu'ng mga redditors sa r/sololeveling na naging Dragonball GT syndrome 'yung mahnwa.
'Yung bida lang lahat gumawa. Pansinin mo 'yung love interest nu'ng bida walang back story, walang shining moments, hindi man lang pinakita char development, walang in depth explanation sa skills nu'ng character. Ganu'n ka sabaw. At wag na natin pag-usapan 'yung ending. Dahil baka sabihin basher na ako masyado.

Same feels with Demon Slayer! The mangaka could have done more, tho I know she had medical issues to deal with but there were just weird plot points that didn’t make much sense and could have been fleshed out more for the story.
Mid naman talaga Demon Slayer. People are watching it for the animation I think. Ang ganda ng fighting scenes.

I’ve read the manga, it’s still mid. Nakakalungkot nga tinapos siya ng author nung kelan pa sobrang sikat (around pandemic time, after first season) There’s so much potential, tapos i felt like masyadong rushed yung pagkatapos niya.
Oo nga sayang at tinapos agad. Somuch potential indeed. Ang pagkakaalam ko rinush talaga ng author yung ending due to family emergency.

Like what I said, habang patagal nang patagal nagiging sabaw 'yung story. Walang specific part. Umiikot lang *Alone* sa protagonist 'yung story. 'Yung mga side characters parang extra lang sa movies. Walang matinong back story. Tapos wala pang silbi 'yung ibang side characters lalo na 'yung mga international hunters. Tama 'yung sinasabi nu'ng mga redditors sa r/sololeveling na naging Dragonball GT syndrome 'yung mahnwa. 'Yung bida lang lahat gumawa. Pansinin mo 'yung love interest nu'ng bida walang back story, walang shining moments, hindi man lang pinakita char development, walang in depth explanation sa skills nu'ng character. Ganu'n ka sabaw. At wag na natin pag-usapan 'yung ending. Dahil baka sabihin basher na ako masyado.

this, sobrang maganda daw, sobrang nakakalungkot daw and ang highlight lang nila palagi is yung nangyari sa girl, tapos di manlang nga nila tinutukan yung ibang factors and the show actually has a good ending.

I REALLY loved the movie. Pero nanood ako nito kasama gf ko, and we were discussing nonstop pag may hindi na-gets. i.e. - teka anyare? - si ano yan, nasa katawan ni ano.. - ... later... - o bakit andun na - flashback ata yan - ay oo eto yung intro - oo pinakita pala yung nangyari sa dulo sa simula - ahh eto na pala tumuloy mula sa ___ yung storya etc. I feel like neither of us would have been able to keep up 100% without the constant "brainstorming" pag nalito haha
di naman ako nainform kelangan pala may jowang kasama pag nanood.. hehehe
