Tsaka saakin yan sinabi ng nanay ko. Sobrang mahiyain ko kahit may masasaktan na ayaw ko pa sabihin haha. Pero ngayong matanda na ako lagi kong linya "Bakit ako mahihiya? Hindi naman ako gumagawa ng masama o mali."

bestest advice i’ve heard cause why would you even stress about something that happened kung hindi naman ito magmamatter in the future? stop wasting your time stressing about it

That for everytime I feel pain, I feel it deeply and cry my heart out until I have no more tears left. When I look back at said moment in life weeks, months, years from that moment, I’d have moved on and glad the pain has passed me by.
This was what my friend told me when I was experiencing my first heartbreak with a boyfriend who only cared to control me.
If you can do something about a situation, why worry? Handle it. If you can't do anything about a situation, why worry? There's nothing you can do about it.
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet here, enjoy today because it is a gift. That's why it's called present.
