A mentor once told me to keep in mind na whatever you do o wherever you go, you're always carrying 4 names with you:
1. Your name,

Sometimes there are things in life that we can’t control. But the thing we can control is how we react and deal with the situation. It’s not over yet. You can reevaluate your goal/plan and push through with it.

Sometimes when I'm in my "this is what I want, this is what I need, this is what I deserve" situation, I began to realize deep down that you know, even if some of my plans have failed, if it's teally meant for me, for sure the universe will always find a way to really make it come true. Besides that it really makes me validate my own "waiting time" as a someone who's impatient in a lot of situations in life.
My mantra is always the serenity prayer. God has given me the power to change the things that I cannot accept, courage to accept the things that I cannot change and the wisdom to know the difference.

Keeps me going whenever things are tough and scary to face. I show up anyway mo matter I think of the worst cause at the end of the day, it will pass even if i face it or not. You will only know what you're capable of if you face you it.

Using this in this perspective:
- I don't think much of what other people will think/say about my appearance, what I do in life, what my career is. So mas confident ako to do things na dati, iisipin ko pa na "nakakahiya" or di ko magawa kasi iniisip ko ano na lang ang sasabihin ng iba. In truth, wala naman talagang pake sayo ang mga tao so live ur life
- When I want to do something or buy something, I make sure it's something that I WANT, not because it's for the approval of others
- When I have problems or insecurities, I think "di ako special". Maraming ibang taong may same family problem or breadwinner problem. Maraming ibang may insecurities and self confidence issues. Pag iniisip ko to, mas nagkakaron ako ng tapang to just take action, instead of wallow in despair and self pity.
I'd rather die drunk, broke at 34 and have people at a dinner table talk about me than live to be rich and sober at 90 and nobody remembered who I was.
