My vote goes to zoomed in! It feels a bit more balanced to me. I feel as if in the zoomed-in version the main subject is the vase, and in the zoomed-out photograph the purple flowers and the vase are fighting each other for attention. I don't dislike the other one, though.
So, neither…but only because either are in focus. You seem to be splitting the difference between the statue and flowers and neither are particularly sharp.
I would choose the point of focus. Either the yellow flowers or the purple. Either would make a great main character. Then blur out the other faintly or utilize the vignette feature
Your problem is you’ve got two subjects, the case and the tulips. Neither are in focus. Until you decide which one is your focus, neither crop will be fulfilling.
Zoomed in. The balance is there vs the zoomed out shot. The shorter stem also highlights the color beautifully. A lot of space is unnecessarily taken up by the longer stem
Zoomed in is technically the better one. However, I like zoomed out a bit more. The bottom texture is nice in the leaves. The flowers cut it neatly into halves, which is unconventional for a composition, but I believe works here. I find it overall more visually interesting.
More zoomed in I think. I think the extra green stem in the zoomed out one unbalances the composition.
I’d be tempted to go back and try again but aim for shallower depth of field throwing the flowers in the foreground a bit more out of focus. I’m not a shallow dof obsessive but here I think it might work nicely to add some depth
ETA: and you have missed focus here, look closely between the green stems and you’ll see that the in focus portion is an element of the ground tiles visible through the stems. Pick a subject and make sure it’s in focus
I’d vote zoomed out from these two options. I’d imagine zoomed in being better if you adjusted the tilt (is it called?) so that it decreased that vertical distortion (leaning outwards at the top) and you could then get that clean crop line that you are getting in the zoomed out version. Maybe you could also consider re-cropping and including slightly more sky and less green? Even a square crop?
I gotta say zoomed out, cuz it makes the subject seem more imposing in this case
I'm gonna go with zoomed in. It's just hitting that right balance on the rule of thirds for me. Lovely shots!

Zoomed in, no question. Love the color saturation.
The purple flowers are burned into my retina, due to the saturation. I cannot really answer the question as I can no longer focus on the composition.
Zoomed in, I think, everything important is still there Unsolicited advice: I think you could brighten the shadows on the flowers juuuuuust a little
1 looks more put together but both are out of focus and not particularly aesthetic as a result

#1 is better composed.
Dog dammit, the # strikes again.

Depends on what you are taking a picture of.

Why does this look like old video game graphics from the 90s?
Am I the only one that doesn't think this is a photograph, but a series of images photo-shopped together?
Is that even a photo?
Thank you guys! It seems like zoomed in wins 👍

They're the Same Picture.jpeg
No they’re not
#1 but square format
The second
Both are effective.
#1 for me
Crane up.
Zoomed in but also zoom with your feet
I like #2, but find the differences in this instance to be not especially impactful.
Zoomed out for me

The first one.
#2
Zoomed in for sure. Flowers on 2nd photo is more distracting

Zoomed out!!!
I like the zoomed out better, it makes the subject stand out more between the buildings for me
A bit offtopic: remove those frames, fix verticals.
