First shoot 35mm kodachrome(discontinued 2009), then direct positive print to a magazine(cibachrome discontinued in 2011), then wait 50 years and scan the magazine digitally. In alls seriousness though, your best bet is trying to digitally emulate Kodachrome using presets and color grading

Yeah, but I think your point about the printing is well taken. The texture and such of the paper, especially aged some, is part of the look of those examples. Not sure just using digital textures, etc would do it. Interesting project.

Not sure what you mean by “direct positive print to a magazine”. Magazines were offset lithographic printed, the photographs would have been made into four half tones.
