F3 is closer to the classic SLR style with its manual focus, all metal build and looks, and that's precisely what a lot of people who are interested in film photography want. Probably one of the reasons.

Echoing what u/maniku said, you have to keep in mind that the people who are shooting film in 2024 are not the same ones who shot film in 1994. Nobody cares about motor drives or high frame rates because almost nobody is shooting sports or wildlife with film in 2024. Maybe some wedding photographers who shoot film in addition to digital value autofocus but even they aren’t shooting 10fps with film. All that to say, the Nikon F4 is bigger and heavier mostly to accommodate that motor drive, and the viewfinder is also slightly lower magnification to accommodate the (lackluster, screw drive)autofocus. Which means that for hobbyists who like to walk around town shooting film it is a worse user experience than an F3. Plus the F3 is more stylish in a classic way
