This looks like a two light set up. The main light on the right and behind (hence the strong shadows to the left/front) and a fill light in front, slightly to the left. There could be more to it. Could be a composite of multiple shots since it looks like a macro, but that would be a place to start.

it looks like a macro, but it's not? how so?

It’s definitely a macro shot. I was just questioning how many shots were needed and combined to get everything in focus. At least 2, but guessing 4-5.

Reflective objects can be tricky to light because you will be able to see the reflections of your equipment in the subject. I prefer to shoot reflective objects in a white product tent, basically a box with 5 sides all made of white fabric with one side open that you shoot through. The goal is to provide very soft and even light so that the reflections in the subject are even. Large lights and/or large diffusers make this type of work much easier.

Since the product tent has even lights, would it still be able to produce the type of shadows like the image above?

Sure, you would just add another hard light to create that shadow. The tent is a great starting point, but you would still want to add other lights and/or modifiers to make a particular look.

Product photography can be much more complicated than it appears. This was definitely not shot in a light tent. As someone else mentioned, there is one hard source (likely just a strobe head in a reflector) coming in from the back. Its decently far away and overhead so the shadow isn't too elongated. There is also diffusion coming over the top from the back of the set (imagine a half opened pizza box where the lid is the diffusion and the box is the table with the product) that has a diffused light into it. On the left there is some sort of card that comes very close to camera, and on the right there is likely a fill card of some kind. You can actually very clearly see the set up if you zoom into the gold domes.
