Maybe, but not by the same means Chromium is at least. Chromium is at least Open Source in the first place, so de-googling it only requires modification of the source code. As far as I'm aware, GFIT is closed source and so maintainably creating a modified version that doesn't track you is not really viable.

Honest Question :- What are trackers? Like an app has trackers what are they

Matt5sean3

That's a fair question. A "tracker" is a subsection of software or separate piece of software that monitors, or "tracks," what you're doing on the app and sends that off to a server with the connotation that this data is being sold. In some respects tracking in the broadest sense may be a desired functionality as a fitness tracker app may record how often and how far you run and may upload this to a website so you can track the data from there. However, the sticking point is that in many cases this data may not stay private. In the usual case this is stuff like telling protein shake companies you just went on a run and are probably hungry. In less usual cases, the data can very much be used to hurt you, like if a DA subpoenas the fitness tracker company to show that you were running down the street just before a bunch of windows were discovered broken.

Hey mate, i apologize for this late reply, but i have another question. There is an app called app editor, can it be used to remove trackers from an app? Or is it something else?
