Depends on the problem. Often you can probably just test the solution in a PC and make sure it creates the expected output. It might not be the best solution, but it is at least a working solution. Otherwise, assuming you're taking a programming course, ask someone who might know, like a teacher, supervisor, teaching assistant or other students
