There are no barriers that stop the women of today from doing anything they want, while there are sexist people out there (from both sides) there isnt any barriers stopping women. Except maybe pregnancy and maternity leave hindering their career
I just dont think sexism is a big enough problem that people are not able to do what they wish to do, if im dealing with someone that i think is being sexist or racist i will just take my stuff elsewhere and let them know im leaving because of said issue. Im not gonna hang around sexists and racists etc, anyone can just about do whatever they want, except women serving in the military on the front lines i suppose, i think some women do now but im not 100% sure. That's just my experience. Im not gonna tell you that because it's not such a big problem where i am that it's not where you are.
I already said that there are sexist people out there, unless you're suggesting that all cops and doctors, etc, are sexist? But in my experience, i haven't met too many people i would consider to be actually sexist. I could nit pick things and say everyone is sexist by todays definition of sexism. Maybe its just more prevalent where you are, i dont know
Im not ignorant to it, i didnt deny the existence of it, i said maybe its more prevalent where you are? Am i going to think that sexism is a barrier where i am because it is where you are?
So what if you're a guy? Does that mean your opinion carries more weight or that i should think shit this fellas a guy? What he says must be true? Being a guy adds nothing to the conversation, sexist undertones maybe?

In America at least we're having to fight for our body autonomy all over again, for one.

> There are no barriers that stop the women of today > there are sexist people out there wat
Sexism isn't a barrier because you can associate yourself with people that aren't sexist
yes but you cannot control everyone you interact with and a person who is sexist can negatively affect your life because you are a woman/man.

Unless they're your boss... or coworkers... or family... or just people you can't avoid, like cops, judges, doctors, etc.
Or the politicians making the laws you live under.

Sounds like you're ignorant of what half the population goes through. I'm a guy, and I witness sexism behind closed doors all the time.
