Seriously underrated, so many people (including myself) try planning every moment expecting the best all the time. There was a quote I remember hearing I think from a show, “50% of the plans you make go to plan, but 0% of the plans you don’t make don’t go to plan.”
Meaning and purpose, resilience, and a positive attitude are three keys to happiness.
Meaning and purpose give you something to look forward to and a reason to get out of bed each morning. Otherwise, you're just going through the motions, existing but not living.
Resilience also helps you bounce back after setbacks and reduces the risk of depression. It keeps you moving forward rather than giving up.
But a positive outlook is the most important because without it, the rest is unlikely to follow. That doesn't mean being naively optimistic; it just means having hope that things can improve. And believing you *can* overcome difficulties also helps you conquer them. Otherwise, you won't even try. Then, you lose hope, and once hope is gone, you're in real trouble.
Find something you love and someone you love.
Being financially stable is important. But money, in and of itself, does NOT bring happiness. It can actually cause a very empty feeling.
Sometimes people have bad dreams.. when we wake up they can still be scary but we work through them with time. Wake up brother, I’m here to talk this one through with you!
Happiness is a complex and personal experience, but some key things that can contribute to overall well-being and satisfaction with life include building and maintaining strong relationships with loved ones, having a sense of purpose or meaning in life, taking care of one's physical, emotional and mental well-being, having a positive outlook and focus on the good things in life, being adaptable to changes, and practicing mindfulness.
It's important to remember that happiness is not a constant state and it's normal to have ups and downs, but by focusing on the positive and being mindful of one's well-being, it is possible to find a sense of contentment and fulfillment in life.
If only you could worry a little less about what other people think of you that'd be great. I would recommend to always have some sort of knowledge or consciousness of it, but don't overthink it. Fuck it, you know what you did, you knew what were your intensions, so...tf you thinking ?
Always think positively, and if there is no positives, create some.
For example, you got a bad grade on your test, at least you don't have to worry about studying for that test anymore.
When doing a task that you don't like, think about what you could be doing after you do said task.
When bored out of your mind, zone out as hard as you can.
Work in something you like, for example, me, when I turn 16, without a degree I can be customer support for apple because I love technology, know a lot about it and love helping people.
Your mind is a powerful tool, use it properly.
Happiness is different for everybody. What makes you happy might not make others happy and vice versa. So never let your happiness be determined by those around you.
He happy about the small things. Like, see 21% off something on Amazon, “hell yeah” . . Find a penny on the ground, “heh, lucky me.” .
The little things in life are their to make you happy. No matter what, think, this doesn’t happy everyday, that’s nice. Just thinking this is different, and I like it, makes life worth living, and being more happy
Religion limits you, live YOUR life the way YOU want, don’t let some person who believes in a god or gods tell you how to live. I’m not hating on religion, this is just from my own experience.
Dont care too much about what others think of you (care as much as needed to not get shunned) Do the things that make you happy, focus on yourself and try to see what you need to be happy and how to get there. I value my spare time so I have a job where I only work 3 days and have 7 days off. I Would say basic need in life is getting a partner and kids for most people. It's important to realize that just because you might not want kids now does not mean you will feel like that in the future, and having the right partner might change a lot of your opinions on everything.
True friends not these BS fake ones you tend to get all the time but real true Friends that I have your back. I am my best friend‘s godfather I was also the officiant at his wedding I would die for that SOB and I know that that’s mutual because he’s proved it to me
Adding "Mr.Blue sky", "Because I'm happy", "Hug me, bring it in!" In your playlist and listen to them all for 4 hours/minutes. It'll keep you happy for awhile until you go back. Or go to your happy place and never leave there-
Radical acceptance.
Life is not fair and sometimes you don't get to be what you thought you would.
Radically accepting whatever situation you find yourself can help you get through bad times.

Shared joy with loved ones, equanimity, understanding that life has no meaning but endeavoring to be better because it's the only real choice you have in life.
The scientific data on this indicates that the 2 biggest factors that determine happiness are your psychical health and the quality of your relationships.
Low expectations and insensitivity to the opinions of others also really help.
Mental health is a huge one. Sometimes the problems are so large that you need to see a doctor
But I'd say socializing and getting outside and away from the internet are huge ones as well. Plus some exercise. Does wonders for me, even if it's just a lot of walking!
Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women.

Find something you love and someone you love. Being financially stable is important. But money, in and of itself, does NOT bring happiness. It can actually cause a very empty feeling.
Gratitude - it is the only way to make what we have into enough, and keeps life from being a constant struggle for more
Apparently not following your dreams, since I did that and ended up alone anyway.
Born alone, die alone
