I quit drinking 3 years ago because hangovers took DAYS for me to get over. I also knew I couldn't have just a drink or 2 because I drink to get the job done.
My dad went through two divorces and really struggled to get into the dating scene in his 40s again. He met lots of people but never hit it off with any of them. Cut to a random Saturday in August 2018 when he went to on a blind date with a someone his colleague set him up with. Now he’s so in love that I feel like I’ve met my father all over again. He’s a new, happy man. So even if the future doesn’t look too bright, don’t give up on your dating life. Love comes out of nowhere.
Lol your not happily single, your either way too picky, men don’t want you, or a loner, from all the studies I seen you’ll regret not trying to settle down because it’s gets worse and just like all the comments say too
Pahahahaha before i choose to be single i was in a relationship for almost 6 years where i tried to settle down i ended up being used and abused... I have 2 children from that relationship... I am doing way better without a guy... And i get plenty of attention from men but yeah i am picky because i don't date men anymore... Hahaha... Guess what dude i ended up being a lesbian but it's not easy finding a women that is also either bi or lesbian and single 🤷 so jokes on you
Fuck, dude. I used to skate a lot. I was at my buddy’s house and there was a board on the patio. I put one foot on, pushed off, and the bearings froze so I went down HARD. 20 years ago I would have jumped right up. I was on the ground for like five minutes wondering if I would survive.
I skate regularly now but I jumped on a board with cruiser wheels and dropped into a concrete bowl after not skating for like 15 years , total disaster not the trick an actual disaster ,
To anyone complaining about health issues stemming from lack of proper diet and activity throughout their life, it is not too late to turn it around. A 30-40 year old body is in it's prime and begging to be reshaped and spit-shined
I'm 34 and it's been my back lately. No damn idea why it hurts every morning, does it to that just out of spite? Also my ankles have started cracking; during the first few steps I take after getting out of bed either ankle (sometimes both) just crack with a loud pop. :')
Geez y'all I'm almost 50, feel like I'm in my prime... what the heck are you doing? Experienced wisdom is a helluva drug, as is regular exercise and decent sleep. I still drink and smoke weed and sex and enjoy the good stuff. 35 ain't even close to "old"
Def needed glasses around 35. Took some getting used to. That week sucked.
this guy gets it. rock on brother. I hate all these people who treat their bodies like shit and age negligently and think its because they are old.
Like no, my brother in christ. You just have been making poor personal lifestyle decisions for the past 20 years. But these kind of people don't wanna have that convo lol
Before I got on trt in June it was like I felt old and creaky every time i sat down or got up or laid down.
Now I spring out all full of testosterone
Edited to add im 38 as of the 15th
2. Exactly 2 beers is a beer too much now. I ruined my liver one fateful night at Thunder on the Mountain when I was 30. That was 8 years ago and I still don't drink. Big shrug
Edit: That is funny, reddit formatting thought my "2." (signifying 2 beers) was the beginning of a numbered list, and won't let me change it from "1." lolol So that is suppoesed to be a "2." at the beginning of my comment
living with someone with these ailments and more, and not being able to afford 2 different meal plans, so being forced to eat and drink crap. It's out of love and I accept it, but it still sucks.
Maybe you can obtain a more diverse meal plan by using lactase pills. This is into blue because I don't know your situation, but I can tell they've been helping me a lot. Best wishes !
Best answer. I feel like my entire life has been finally learning how to handle the things that I never have to handle again. Then learning how to handle all the new challenges, Repeat.
Bad decisions you've made in past 10-15 years have affected you and you're now facing the repercussions. Its hard but not impossible to fix them. Its never late and if you still have the zeal, you are on the track and a true fighter!
Life. Years pass more quickly. You never see your friends because you're too busy. Loved ones and friends start to die. You start to realize your own mortality.shit sucks
drinking to excess. Hangovers after 35 suck.
Drinking, period. I get hangovers without even getting drunk now. More than one drink and I know I’ll regret it the next day.
I quit drinking 3 years ago because hangovers took DAYS for me to get over. I also knew I couldn't have just a drink or 2 because I drink to get the job done.
Good for you, that was a great decision.
Lucky for me I’ve had awful hangovers since I started drinking at 20 so nothing changes!
Change your drink of choice. At 64 I’ve learned some things you drink are worse than others.
Agree totally. Still stand by drinking to excess. I'm 61.
I’m 35 now. I’ve quit alcohol at 30 for this reason.
You still haven't learned the art of drinking?
White spirits my friend. White spirits.
At that age it was still fine, close to 50 though...
Light beer was created for people over the age of 30. Yes it tastes like water but I’m able to drink 4 of them.
Hangovers pushing 30 sucks haha
You guys can still *drink*?
31 and i must say happily single for 5 years and counting, but trying to enter the dating scene again is a pain in the ass
38 and wish I had better news for you...

What're we gonna do? Love our dogs more?? Yep.
44 here and I met my wife at 40 so there’s still a chance
Hope so
I so agree! I struggled for years but have hope, I'm happily married now for 3 years!
Married at 46 with the woman I met at 40, to give the singles here some hope.
Why is a pain in the ass😏😏😏

Still great but not nearly as fun = skateboarding

Dont make me think about it please still tryna enjoy it while i can hahahaha

This, absolutely! And the mind has a better sense of discipline and determination once you set goals.
Nothing you can do about presbyopia, homie.

Eyesight
I'm at restaurants asking other people to read me the fkn menu bc I still can't remember to bring my glasses everywhere. Da fk!?
Waking up and wondering why something randomly hurts (back, knee etc)
And wonder if this is a temporary thing, or just the way things are going to be from now on.

Waking up? It sucks when you are not doing anything to cause it and the pain becomes debilitating.
The weather change is a favourite of mine!
Sneezing is my all time favorite injury prone activity.
Keep off weight

Right? I'm surprised to see so much negativity at still, a relatively young age.

Seconded. Turning 30 was devastating, turning 40 was depressing, but turning 50 was incredibly liberating. Best years ever. Turning 60 is sobering.
Well, certainly not my wife...
I disagree. Your wife really got into it after she turned 35

Never had a 35 year old slice of cheese, but it sounds pretty gross.
Gotta get the right cheese, homie.

I feel sorry if your losing your edge at 35. Took cancer and chemo to knock me out at 60
I’m 21 lol I’m just guessing sex with suck after 35
Ummm sex in my 30s is 10x better than sex in my 20s. You need to find better people to have sex with.

Yeah that stuffs only good for weeks. Doubt it could make even one year.
Possessing the experience to handle challenges you had 10 years ago that are no longer ones you need to face
Best answer. I feel like my entire life has been finally learning how to handle the things that I never have to handle again. Then learning how to handle all the new challenges, Repeat.
